I was calling, for the last time

We'd been here before

They found pictures in the snow

I could tell your eyes, looked beneath the blue

---

''Someone call an ambulance!'' Jay shouted, sitting beside the motionless girl. He looked over at Cole and Nya, who were hugging each other.

Soon, the familiar sirens were heard and an ambulance swerved around the corner, coming to a stop and making snow hit the Earth Ninja and Samurai Girl.

They loaded the girl into the ambulance van, with Jay and the others watching. The doors closed, blocking their view of (Y/n) before the ambulance sped away.

Jay looked over at the two who were still hugging. What really angered the Lightning Ninja was that Kai wasn't doing anything to stop Cole from being near his sister.

Turning away from the two, he made his way away from them, to get away from all the sadness, loss and anger that swirled around his conflicted mind.

---

Loss was something all the ninja experienced. Cole, his mother, Zane, his father, Jay, a friend who like a brother, but most importantly of all, the Titanium Ninja that had saved Ninjago from the Overlord, sacrificing himself in the process, while (Y/n) watched, unable to do anything.

Everything went in slow motion as (Y/n) watched, tears blurring her vision as she looked up at the doctor.

''He's gone?"

The doctor grievously nodded, holding up a photo of the nindroid. (Y/n) turned her head away, not wanting to see his happy smile and bright intelligent eyes which could light up a dark room better than Kai's fire.

The rest of the week passed by in a blur, with the ninja attending Zane's funeral while the Orange Ninja was stuck in the hospital, sometimes some of the ninja would visit, bringing ''Get Well'' cards and chocolate to eat.

Looking outside her hospital room window, she saw tiny snowflakes drift slowly past the window, a clear reminder that he was gone.

Once she got out of the hospital, she realised she barely had enough money to pay the bill, only just being able to give the perfect amount.

Sighing as she looked up, the sun shining through the dark and stormy clouds, she clenched her fist and glared back at the sun, almost getting blinded in the process.

The dark and stormy clouds once again covered the spherical Giver of Light, turning the once sunlit streets to dark and gloomy once more.

(Y/n) then made her way downtown, passing tv screens presented in a window. People crowded around it, and she turned to see someone on the stage, singing her song.

The person looked exactly like her, with a wheelchair and singing to the crowd that stood in front of her. She knew it wasn't her because (Y/n) was no longer in the wheelchair, though she was grateful for it as it made navigation with her broken bones easier.

Sighing once again, she made her way to the pet shelter, only to find something had happened.

There was graffiti on the brick walls, mocking the shelter and covering the windows. The doors were boarded up, and there was a sign that hung from the door.

''For Sale''

---

The girl stood in front of his statue, looking up at the face that had saved Ninjago. She swallowed the lump in her throat and placed the bouquet of white roses down.

Hearing a screech, she turned her head, seeing the falcon fly over her and onto the Titanium Ninja's shoulder, tilting its head as it looked at the girl.

''Purity, virtue and innocence.'' She mumbled, looking down at the bouquet which laid on the stone, petals waving gently in the cool breeze, as well as leaves floating in the wind.

Hearing footsteps, she turned around to see Kai, who looked at the bouquet of roses on the stone of the statue.

The Fire Ninja was silent, his gaze on his now gone brother, and he lowered his head. ''I'm so sorry...'' He mumbled, and the girl looked at him, an eyebrow raised.

She sighed. ''I don't know if I should accept the apology.'' He looked at her, desperation in his eyes.

(Y/n) turned and walked away, with Kai watching her until she disappeared, wishing there was something he could have done to make her stay.

---

On the Destiny's Bounty, Jay was packing his stuff into a bag, tears streaming down his face. He picked up the drawing (Y/n) had made for him that was of him and Nya, holding hands. Slowly and carefully, he removed the Nya part and put his half in the bag.

Nya had kissed Cole in front of him, shattering his heart even further if that was even possible, and after the news that the Matchmaker machine was a ploy created by the Overlord to distance the ninja, the two broke up, and the Earth Ninja left, while the Samurai Girl watched.

The Overlord's plan worked alright, but all the pieces of himself he had given to Nya were thrown away as if they were the worst kind of chocolate, tossed away like garbage and could never be retrieved.

The team split up like a band, like the Beatles or something like that. Only Lloyd remained, training with Garmadon as he was the last ninja who stayed to watch over Ninjago in case a villain rose to seize the now seemingly vulnerable city.

---

Remo poked (Y/n) to see if she was awake. The girl slowly opened her eyes, seeing the small silver snake in front of her.

The girl gave a small smile, getting up and stretching her arms, leaning over to look at the clock. Beside it was the sketch of the falcon, the one Zane looked at.

Why did everything remind her of Zane?

The little snake disappeared, reappearing with a ham sandwich. He gave it to (Y/n), who gave him most of it while she ate the rest, and all was silent except for the quiet ticking of the clock as the minutes went by.

Lying down and looking at the ceiling, she closed her eyes.

Morro had been silent for so long (Y/n) wondered what he was up to. He'd usually speak up by now, but the flood of emotions had affected him too, leaving him to dwell on his past as he waited for her.

Then, something appeared, a fox with seven tails and familiar (e/c) eyes walked up to him. The wind picked up, and leaves started to fly on the breeze, with one orange leaf with a white tip landing on the kitsune's head.

Morro closed his eyes, grunting as he felt the bright light hit his closed eyelids. He opened them, to see (Y/n), in her Orange Ninja gi.

She gave him a sad smile. ''There isn't always a happy ending.''

''Wait!'' Morro called out as the leaves began to swirl around her, blocking his view.

''I am still here, and I'll wait.''

---

The Titanium Ninja opened his eyes, seeing a stone floor. He looked up and saw his wrists were chained and tried to summon his ice.

Nothing, not even a snowflake, as it was vengestone.

''Where am I?'' He asked.

Just a filler chapter :P
