OKAY.

Lemme tell all y'all a thing.

These are my main cats for a village rp warrior cats game (which I love btw). The characters from right to left are:
Dappledstorm, Ivyshadow, Badgerstar, and Lilyswipe.

I tried making them somewhat realistic and yes the background is terrible I'm going to start practicing those. But to the real point of this. Besides the art.

Lilyswipe bloody ditched my clan.

I sent her questing right? Basically you send them off and they're supposed to come back with a thing yeah? Well that takes 3 days (no problem) and in that time I started developing these characters into having personalities and histories and stuff.
So Badgerstar likes Lilyswipe right? But it's not the right time to tell her because they got things to do to fix up the camp. In my mind Lilyswipe doesn't quite like this territory and wants to go somewhere else, but everyone is chill with the pine forest and doesn't want to keep moving. So she puts up with it and as a sort of solution she abt Badgerstar agree that Lilyswipe will go off and adventure.

While she's gone camp is getting made, Dappledstorm becomes a med. cat, some apprenticable kits are found so I assign them to some of my cats so they can be trained. Whether they want to or not. Whether they like it or not. They belong to Pineclan now.

Anyway, three days come around and it's time for this blasted she-cat to come home so my derpy boy who made the camp pretty for her and confess his undying love.

SHE. NEVER. SHOWS. UP.

Now in the context of the game it basically says "aye, ya girl failed the quest and didn't come back" which could allude to her dying or something BUT NO.

In my mind the Lilyswipe I made up was useing questing as an excuse to yeet because she's selfish. Now my boy is heartbroken and lonely.
So now I'm salty and bitter about nothing really.

In other pressing news that I know you're just dying to hear,

Duskpaw got attacked by a fox while patrolling alone but he's all better now! Coincidently on the same day as what will be known as The Massive Disappointment.  So now Badgerstar can just focus on his lil apprentice bean.
(Also I'm not mad at the game or so or anything, I like the story coming out I was just surprised by how well coordinated in ended up being xD)
