K.O sat in the corner for a while when the alarm went off and everyone ran outside. He groaned and covered his ears, but Rad quickly grabbed him and carried him outside. "Come on, kid, you can't stay in there during this, even in your situation," he said, setting him against the window of Gar's.

"Just stay here, me and Enid will handle it this time." Rad waved at K.O and quickly ran over to fight Darrel and Shannon. K.O watched the two and sighed, secretly wishing that one of the robots would find their way over to K.O and finish him off.

Suddenly, a blast from Darrel came flying at him, though before it could hit him, Enid got in the way and took the attack for him.

He let out a sigh of relief, though he didn't thank Enid. He knew, that despite all this, they were only pretending and didn't care. He honestly didn't care if one of Lord Boxman's robots went up to him right now and captured him, or just flat out killed him.

He didn't understand why he was feeling this way, but he didn't like it. He hated how he felt so empty yet so depressed at the same time. His thoughts suddenly shifted back to his dream, which made him uncomfortable.

He tried his best to get the thought out of his head, when he saw something with the corner of his eye. He looked down and saw a small piece of glass on the ground. He gulped and looked around him before carefully picking it up and placing it in his pocket.

Suddenly there was an explosion, which grabbed his attention. He watched Enid and Rad as they sighed and walked toward him. "Okay, time to go back inside, K.O," Enid said. "Rad, you take him back to the corner he was in before this whole thing happened."

Rad nodded and picked K.O up, carrying him back to the corner. Once Rad set K.O down, he went back to work, leaving him alone once again.

K.O suddenly looked around, made sure nobody was watching him, and pulled out the piece of glass he found. He stared at it as he held it in his hand, a dark thought coming into mind. He gulped and once again looked around to make sure nobody was there.

He sighed and pulled down the legwarmer that was covering up his other leg. He set the glass up to it, and he just sat there for a moment. There was a voice inside of him telling to put pressure on it and slide it across his leg.

He closed his eyes and did what the voice told him, and once he opened them, he saw a small, red mark on his leg where he made a cut. He honestly was surprised, he didn't even feel the glass make a cut, but it did anyway, and he liked it for whatever reason.

He did it again, but after the second time, he stopped and pulled his legwarmer back up. He stared into space for a brief moment, thinking about what he just did.

After he was done with here, he was supposed to go back to the doctor to get his casts off, though he didn't understand why it was so soon. His mom said before that whenever a person is in a cast, they heal much quicker than average and usually get the cast off in a short amount of time depending on what was broken.

He didn't know why he couldn't have waited to do whatever he just did to himself. Now his only hope was that the doctor didn't pull down his legwarmer for whatever reason and see the two small cuts on his leg.

Because the last thing K.O wanted was for everyone to find out how he's been feeling.

(A/N) Look, something I made up to resolve the issue with his arm and leg being in a cast because I'm a lazy person xD

Ah but seriously, I love where this story is going! I'm having more in writing this than I did Corruption tbh

Anyway, if you enjoyed this chapter, please vote, comment, hug the child known as K.O, and I'll see you in the next one! xP
