Luna was sitting on her bed sadly, the image of Luan helplessly being poisoned to death played in her mind, still unable to believe it was only a year ago since it happened. Luna knew that she could've done something other than watch, but she didn't, and Luan was dead because of it.

Her other sisters managed to move on, which only made Luna furious and confused. She didn't understand why they moved on so quickly when a family member killed themselves for an unknown reason.

Luna has never felt so empty in her life, it's like her heart was tied up in chains and hidden in a dark corner, unable to free itself from endless suffering and misery. Words couldn't describe anything she felt, not even Lucy would be able to understand her torment.

Luna felt tears start to form in her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away and put a smile on her face. "Come on, Luna, don't cry again," she told herself. "It's only Tuesday and you've already cried four times this week."

She took a few deep breaths, trying her best to remain happy. Luna's bedroom door creaked open, startling her out of her mood.

Lori was standing in the doorway with a somewhat annoyed look on her face. "Luna, please tell me you're joking," Lori said, stepping inside. "I understand you're upset, but you're overreacting about this whole situation."

"Easy for you to say, Lori!" Luna growled. "You didn't see Luan die right in front of you!"

Lori sighed in annoyance, knowing it would take a long time to get through to her sister, but she still kept trying to snap her out of this. "It's been an entire year, Luna, you're 16 now, it's time to let it go."

"But Luan would've turned 15 last month, but she didn't because she's dead! And the worse part is that none of you care!"

Lori facepalmed and sighed again, thinking of what to say that wouldn't make Luna angrier than she already was.

"Luna, don't ever say we don't care," Lori said sternly. "We miss Luan, too, but you don't see us staying cooped up in our rooms all the time like you are!"

Luna closed her eyes and clenched her fists tightly, she could feel her anger bubbling inside of her as Lori continued to speak, then she snapped.

"Just shut up!" She shouted as loud as she could. "You don't understand this! You don't understand me! At least I cared for Luan like a sister, unlike you!" Tears streamed down her face as she spoke, and the number of tears down her face seemed unnatural, but they just kept on coming down.

"I-I just want Luan to come back! I just -" Luna couldn't continue her sentence, instead, she fell on the ground, crying loudly and attracting unwanted attention. All of her siblings were now watching her emotional breakdown from the doorway.

Everyone looked at each other in sadness and somewhat annoyance. She's had many emotional breakdowns since Luan's death, but this one was worse than the others.

Much worse.

Tears continued to stream down her face as she continued crying. Her chest and throat hurt from all the screams she was making, although she didn't stop until she couldn't cry anymore.

Once she was finally done, the floor was soaked with tears, and she was curled into a ball, rocking herself back and fourth in the corner of the room, mumbling things to herself.

Lori sighed and stepped out of the room, closing the door behind her so Luna could have privacy while she cried. "This has gone too far," Lori said. "We need to do something to cheer Luna up."

There was a little bit of mumbling before someone spoke.

"But Luna's been depressed for a year now," Lola said. "And every time we try to talk to her, she gets mad at us."

Everyone nodded in agreement, and it was true. Since Luan's death, Luna has been extremely hostile towards her siblings, even if they were just trying to help her.

It would take a ton of time and effort to make Luna herself again, but they were determined to help. After all, Luna is their sister, and they'd do whatever they can to make her happy, although it would be even harder to make Luna herself again.

It's one thing making her happy, but it's another thing to bring her back to her normal self.

But they were going to attempt it anyway.
