Eventually the time came when Luna had to go home. Before she left, (Y/n) gave her a hug and stayed in her bedroom as Luna left, disappointed that she had to stay back because Luna's family didn't know that (Y/n) was a girl yet.

Once she heard the car leave, (Y/n) stepped outside of her bedroom and sighed. Yesterday was one of the best days she has had in a long time, and it disappointed her to know that it was over.

"So, how was yesterday with Luna staying over?" Her mom asked, startling her from behind. (Y/n) quickly turned around, letting out a small chuckle as blush started to form. "It was amazing," she responded.

"Glad you enjoyed it," her mom said, chuckling with (Y/n). "I do hope she eventually tells her parents, though I'm not sure if they'll take it as well as I did when you came out to me as (any LGBT sexual orientation).

"I think they'd take it pretty well, they seem like a really nice and supportive family."

"Ah," her mom said, nodding her head. "Well, Halloween is coming up this month, maybe if her family knows you two are together you can go trick or treating together."

(Y/n)'s eyes lit up and she let out a gasp. "Oh my stars! Yes!" She shouted, surprised she never thought about that before. "Speaking of which, I still need a costume. Hey, mom --"

"Don't worry, I'll get you one when I get paid," her mom quickly interrupted, knowing what (Y/n) was going to ask.

"Haha, thanks," (Y/n) said, still thinking about last night and this morning. "I just can't believe it's October already! It feels like yesterday was just July!"

"It's been a few months since the author focused on this story, (Y/n)," her mom declared. "Give them a break, though, they have other things to do and other stories to work on."

"You do have a good point," (Y/n) responded. "We all have a life outside our social media, even if it's a small and trashy one."

Silence suddenly filled the house, and it remained quiet for a few minutes before someone finally spoke.

"Well, anyway, since you're out here, want to help me decorate the house for autumn?" (Y/n)'s mom asked, grabbing her attention once again. "Oh, uh, sure," (Y/n) said, looking around the room to avoid feeling more awkward than she already did.

"I wonder what Luna's up to," (Y/n) said to herself as she went to get some decorations. "I guess I'll find out tomorrow."

She went up to the attic and came back down with the box of decorations in her hand. "Welp," (Y/n) said, picking up a small, plastic pumpkin from the box and setting it on the ground. "This might take a while."

*Timeskip*~

After a while of putting up decorations, (Y/n) was exhausted and hungry. "Man, who knew putting up decorations can be so tiring," she said to herself as she flopped on the couch. She pulled out her phone and checked out a few things before shutting it off and sighing.

"Winter," she mumbled, somewhat annoyed. "Steven Universe isn't returning until winter."

"You mean that one show you watch about the space rocks and stuff?" Her mom asked as she set a bowl of candy on the table. "I never really got that show, honestly."

(Y/n) laughed as she sat up and got a piece of candy from the bowl. "Yeah, that one, it's not coming back until winter." (Y/n) placed the candy in her mouth and threw the wrapper away, quickly chewing it before speaking again. "At least there's OK K.O to watch while I'm waiting for Steven Universe."

"OK K.O?" Her mom asked, tilting her head. "Is that ---"

"It's another show on Cartoon Network," (Y/n) quickly replied. "A lot can happen in a few months for the author while nothing is happening here, honestly."

"Ah," her mom said, nodding her head. "I understand."

Once again, there was a bit of silence for a moment before (Y/n)'s phone went off, causing her to quickly pull it out. She smiled once she realized it was a text from Luna, and went to text her back.

"While you're doing that, I'll make supper." Her mom walked into kitchen to start making (favorite meal) as well as some pie for dessert.

"Today was fast," (mom's name) mumbled under her breath. "I'm kind of happy about that."

(A/N) Sorry for not updating in a long while! The thing is, this story really isn't my main focus and I tend to work on it whenever I feel like doing so, and today happened to be that day :>

Okay, the Loud House Halloween special airs Friday (the 13th...) and it honestly looks like it'll be a great episode! I love holiday specials tbh xD

Anyway, other than apologizing for the really long wait this time, the only thing I really have to say is thank you for reading, and I'll see you in the next chapter! (whenever that'll be xD)
