Hiccup's P.O.V.

Hiccup scooted next to Toothless. "Come on, bud. We need to find a way back to the edge."

Hiccup suddenly heard a gasp from behind him.

He whirled around.

There was a girl standing behind him. She had light brown hair braided over her shoulder, and two daggers strapped to her side. She wore a short dark brown tunic with a slit on one side, red leggings, and a brown boots and silver gaunlets and a strange pendant. Her bright green eyes were wide with suprise.

He yelped and tried to stand, but fell over.

The girl gasped, and jumped.

She let out a nervous laugh, and came closer. "Are you Ok?" She asked, her eyes darting to his missing leg.

He blinked, confused, until he saw he looking at his missing leg. He gave a short laugh. "Oh that? It's been missing since I was fifteen." He said. "I just lost my prohstetic."

"Oh." The girl sighed in relief. She steeped forward, and Toothless growled at her.

She gasped. "Is that a Nightfury?" She asked, in amazement.

Hiccup nodded.

"So, what brings you to my island?" She asked.

Hiccup shrugged. "I'm not really sure." He admitted.
"I was fighting a sea battle with the dragon hunters, then the Shellfire dragon fired a blast at my girlfriend, she didn't see it coming, so I flew in front, got hit, and I woke up hear." He explained.

"Wow." She said. "I didn't know there was other dragon riders."

"Nither did I" Hiccup said. Then he cleared hi throat. "Um, do you mind uh, giving me a hand?"

"Oh, right." She said. "Here, let me help you up. My boyfriend is a blacksmith, he can help."

She awkwardly helped him up and they carefully made their way up the beach.

She stopped and whistled. A Wooly howl came flying out of the woods. "The village is on the far side of the island, so me and Night eye are going to give you and your dragon a ride." She explained.

"Thank you." Hiccup said, with a smile. "So, I didn't cach your name." Hiccup said.

"Oh, I'm Armani." She said.

"I'm Hiccup." Hiccup said. "And this is Toothless."

Armani smiled. "Nice to meet you both." She said.

And with that, they climbed onto Night eye and took off.
