Hiccup's P.O.V

As they flew on, Hiccup, thought about Armani's pendant.

It had his father's chief seal on it. 'Is she like Heather?"  Hiccup wondered. 'Hmm. . . Is she a long lost daughter of a chief? Did she find it somewhere?'

His thoughts were interrupted by Quill clearing his throat. "Do you think it was dragon hunters?" He asked anxiously.

Hiccup nodded grimly. "Most likely."

Quill ran a hand through his hair. "I should have gone with her!"

"I know how you feel." Hiccup said. He'd only known Armani for a little while, but he already felt strangely protective. If anything happens to her, I don't know what I'd do... he thought.

Next to him, Quill leaned forward in his saddle, squinting. "See anything?"

Rain pelted the two dragon riders as Hiccup shook his head. "I don't see any ships other then Hicstrid."

Quill anxiously ran his fingers through his hair. "Great Kanan's ghost! This is taking too long! She could be injured! She could be at their secret base! She could be DEAD!"

Hiccup nodded. "I know, Quill. I'm worried too. But if we're going to save her, then we need to think clearly."

Lightning flashed near the three dragons, and they were nearly deafened by thunder a second later.

"We need to land!" Hiccup shouted over the storm, the wind whipping at his hair. "It's not safe!"

"No! What about Armani?" Quill yelled.

"We can't save her if we're- No- look out!" Toothless swung himself around at Hiccup's cry, knocking Quill and Knifetail aside. The lighting barely missed them, setting Toothless prosthetic tail on fire.

Hiccup and Toothless fell like a stone, spiraling downward, and crashing into a sea stack.

Quill and the Nighteye quickly landed besides Hiccup and Toothless. "Are you okay?" Quill asked, quickly jumping off Knifetail.

Hiccup groaned and sat up. "Why does this keep happening to me?!" He yelled, glaring up at the clouds. "Lay off, Thor!" Toothless shook himself off and growled his agreement.

"Sooo... You're fine." Quill decided, sounding slightly relived.

Toothless rumbled and wacked Quill with his tail. The prosthetic was once again mangled almost unrecognizably. If dragons could speak Norse, Hiccup thought that Toothless would be cursing the moron that didn't think to fireproof his tail. Meaning him.

"Sorry bud." Hiccup apologized. "Looks like you're going to have to sit this one out."

The Nightfury gave him a look that could only be described as "the Astrid glare" and Hiccup nearly smiled at the thought.

"So what now?" Quill asked, looking back into the storm. "Do you think you could ride Nighteye?"

Hiccup nodded. "I'll have to, if we want any chance of saving Armani. It'll be nearly impossible to find her in this weather, so we need to-"

"Look!" Quill interrupted, pointing through the rainy haze. "I think I see a ship!"

Hiccup squinted, blinking rain out of his eyes. Sure enough, he could barely make out the distant shape of a Dragon Hunter ship nearing the cluster of sea stacks they were in.

As it came closer, Hiccup spotted several other ships behind it, all bearing the Dragon Hunter's symbol.

"Looks like we didn't have to find her after all." Quill said grimly. "They found us."

There. Sorry it took so long!
