Sid picked up the diary and suddenly got shocked.

Meri pics iss diary mein kya kr rhi hai? Aur Avni ka name likha hai. Matlab ye uski diary hai. Should I read it? No Sid it's a bad habbit to look at someone's personal stuff. Par meri pics kyu lgaegi wo? Padloo kya? Ummmm chlo pad hi leta hu. Aur meri pics hai to itna to right hona chahie.

So after a lot of arguement with his subconscious mind, he started reading it and with each page, he was getting shocked.

Shocked would be an understatement for Sid. But along with shock, he was feeling unknown happiness. Reason he didn't know. But somewhere he was happy.

OMG I never thought even in my dreams that Avni will have feelings for me.

He was lost in his thoughts.

Jai: (from outside) Oyye bandar aaja. Shirt saaf krne gia ya silne

Sid: Coming

He quitely kept the diary back with trembling hands. He came out.

Reem: All are here so Abhi you know we organized this party for two reasons

Jai: Ya one is your birthday and other one....

Vaish came in front of him and knelt down holding his hand. Abhi was overwhelmed.

Vaish: I haven't prepared any soeech but whatever I will say, I will say it from my heart. Abhi you have been my best friend since the time I remember. From kindergarten till high school. Ya we were not together for a long time. But that distance could never weaken our bond. Instead it made it much more stronger. Time without you was not easy for me to pass. But now I won't let you go anywhere. I want you as my best friend, a life partner, a companion who stand by my side my whole life, will correct me whenever I am wrong, will give me a shoulder to cry, will not leave me in tough times, will love me like anything, with whom I can share my every single secret. So will you be mine?

She said whole speech looking into his eyes. No words came out of his mouth. He just pulled her in a tight hug. Tears were rolling down his eyes.

Abhi: Yesss. A million times yes

All clapped their hands and cheered for them.

Abhi: Vaishu you proposed me to what about you and Sid

Sidnavi looked at him with shock.

Sid: Bataya jo tha she rejected me because of you (wiping fake tears)

Abhi (shocked): Oh god! I didn't understood in first time or jealous hota raha

Sid (smacking abhi's forehead): Dumbo... but whatever we enjoyed alot

Everyone burst out laughing.

Sid: Waise Vaishu ek baar phir se soch le mere jaisa ladka nahin milega. We can be a perfect couple

Avni gets jealous.

Avni: Ho gaya inka proposal to tum chup ho jao ab

Smita: Avni kaise baat kar rahi hain bacha

She understood her words.

Avni: Maa voh voh... yeh har waqt bhai ko tease karta hain isliye bola

Sid chuckled at her. He understood she is jealous and kinda felt happy.

Elders gave them blessings. Avu jumped on her hugged her.

Avu: Finally I got my bhabhi. Look mom I told you na my bhabhi will be an angel

Vaish kissed her cheek. She giggled. All smiled at her. Avu left him and Sid  came and hugged her.

Sid: Congrats bestie

He kissed her cheek glancing Avu's reaction who made a grumpy face which only Sid noticed. He unknowingly smiled seeing her jealous.

Abhi: Ayye you can't kiss my girlfriend

Sid: Sorry bro I can't leave my bestie

He said side hugging her.

All spent time together enjoying and having family time.

Next two days, Sid kept thinking about Avu's diary and her feelings. The pics, quotes dedicated to him, her cute angry jealous face was not leaving his mind. He didn't know what to do. After thinking a lot, he called Vaish.

Sid: Hii Vaishu

Vaish: Heyy. What's up?

Sid: Nothing much. You say

Vaish: I am at shoots. Kuch kaam tha?

Sid: Hnn wo milna tha. But if you are busy then let it be

Vaish: Arre nhi shaam ko I am free

Sid: Pakka?

Vaish: Hnn hnn. At 6?

Sid: Ok then. Kha mile?

Vaish: Vhi apna Pluto Cafe

Sid: Done. Cya at 6

Vaish: Sure sure

Vaish came at 6:10. Sid was sitting scrolling his phone. He saw her and got up to hug her.

Vaish: Sorry yrr traffic tha

Sid: Na na chill. Mein bhi abhi aaya

Vaish: Cool. So aese achanak se kyu bula lia?

Sid: Let's order something fir baat krte hai

Vaish: Ok. As you say

They placed their orders.

Vaish: Hnn so

Sid: Actually

He was lil nervous.

Sid: Vaishu it's about Avni

Vaish: (confused) Hmm

He took a deep breath.

Sid: Ok so Abhi ke birthday wale din hum uske ghar gye the

Vaish: Hnn

Sid: Remember mere upar cold drink ghir gya tha aur aunty ne Abhi ke room mein jaane ko bola

Vaish: Hnn

Sid: Mein actually glti se Avu ke room mein chla gia tha

Vaish: Hnn to usme kya hai?

Sid: Arre poori baat to sunle

Vaish: Achha achha continue

Sid: Hnn to aese hua mein wha se aa rha tha to mere haath se uski ek diary neeche gir gyi

Vaish: Hmm

Sid: And I saw something that kinda I mean actually I don't know how to react. It was a bit awkward. Matlab I didn't feel bad or anything but...

Vaish: Kuch girls ke baare mein tha kya?

Sid: Nhi actually

He told her about whatever he saw. Vaish didn't know how to react. He took few minutes to understand.

Vaish: Ok so mean to say Avni loves you?

Sid: Umm yee

Vaish: Uske bhai na tujhe kacha chaba jaega

Sid: Arre she likes me meri kya galti hai

Vaish: Hmm

She thought for few minutes.

Vaish: Achha ye bta how do you feel about her?

Sid: What kinda question is this? I mean she is my friend

Vaish: Sure? Only friend? How you felt when you came to know about her feelings

Sid: Umm wo I kinda felt happy. I don't know why

Vaish: Ok. How do you feel around her ya when you think about her?

Sid: Umm I feel she is really cute. I love spending time with her. I really love when she smiles. Pta ni bohot baar usse milne ka man krta hai, baat krne ka man krta hai. Her shyness kinda attracts me. She is different

Sid was lost in Avniland and Vaish was smiling. After sometime, they bid bye and went to their homes.
