ℬℯℴ𝓂𝓰𝓎𝓊 w/ 𝒯𝒶ℯ𝒽𝓎𝓊𝓃 

For the rest of the day we didn't talk much to each other if not necessary. Only thing we tried to focus on was to be prepared for the biggest drama in our lives. 

Clean up the mess, heal Soobin's wounds, get ready to put on the masque... nothing ever happened. 

Taehyun covered up the wall with his camouflage spell, while I was healing our sleeping broken heart. Although I couldn't cure everything inside, Kai assured us that he would stay with Soobin and trap him in his loving serene embrace to make him feel relaxed when he wakes up. 

That day's sunset seemed to be never-ending, as if the sun hanging on the horizon was waiting until one of us finally speaks. We didn't have to use our powers to know that we should talk to each other before something even worse happens again. 

Yet we both set here, on my bed... no words, twenty centimetres between us. 

Taehyun wouldn't even breath in, when he occasionally looked at me, but I felt it... and every time he did that, I hugged my legs tighter. 

The scene of him pacifying Soobin and shedding tears was still on my mind, on repeat. His big eyes were showing me the pain... but also some kind of request for understanding and hope for me to help him. 

I was sure that he was saddened... that he was shattered, too... but he obviously wasn't surprised and he was even ready to deal with Soobin's panic and sorrow. 

He could read minds after all...

"Please, let's not act like we are strangers, Beomgyu. Just ask me...," his voice scattered the silence and pushed down the sun.

Only then I noticed that the day light was already gone and it was the time for shadows to sneak out.

I turned my head to Taehyun propped up in pillows and met his starry eyes looking at me in expectation... without a simple blink.

I sighed and sat closer to him.

"How- how much do you know?"

"Actually..." He glanced at the open door and back at me. "Not much more than you..."

"C'mon, it's not the best time to be modest."

We really tried hard to keep our minds calm. However, it wasn't easy at all. In this moment of silence Tae reached for my hand to intertwine our fingers.

"... but I'll tell you everything I know," he finished the sentence which I interrupted and looked straight into my eyes.

Okay.

"I only felt he's suffering... just a few days ago I found out he had some visions...," I spoke anyway.

"That's right, it was the same for me... but then I tricked Hyuka to tell me what they are about."

"So he really confided in Kai." I bit my lip, noticing that I was already avoiding Yeonjun's painful name.

Nod.

"Jun believed that Kai's wings could handle his burdens and they could find out what to do by themselves, but luckily... Kai can never hide his thoughts from me..." Sigh.

Luckily? I grinned bitterly.

"I was the one who found out that those visions are prophecy..."

A prophecy? My eyes widen scanning Taehyun.

"It's a prophecy... of the end."

"It's about the whole Otherworld... I saw something that even fairies wouldn't believe in... There is no way you could help... not yet."

I tensed up.

The stars in Taehyun's eyes twinkled in grief.

"It's not only about Yeonjun, Beom... the whole dimension of Otherworld is falling apart into the nowhere... and we are the only ones, who know about it."

Taehyun's words resonated through my body, making me want to scream.

"Then why don't we spread the message?!"

I couldn't hold it back anymore and got on my knees spreading my arms. Thorny branches grew up from my shoulder blades.

However, mind fairy only kept on starring at me, suppressing his emotions.

"Who would believe us now? We don't even have any solution yet... something's blocking us from finding the key clues."

Oh really?!

"Of course!"

I started to walk around the room alike an upset tiger walks around its cage.

"Of course something is blocking us, Tae - we are not even able to talk about such an extremely important thing..."

"... We are- we are five in this relationship," my voice strangled again.

I wanted to run away.

"I beg you to calm down..."

"Or what? Will you use your magic on me just like you used it on Kai and Soobin?"

Taehyun weakly closed his eyes...

... but I was the one who went blind at the moment.
