Actually, I wasn't sure at all if one simple kiss is really enough, Taehyun. Enough to repair our missteps and fine cracks on Soobin's soul, the delicate work... Enough to avoid the future side effects, because everything costs something.

My brave steps were led in the shadows of fear, the worst and very rare fairy disease I got very sick from... and the fear breeds nothing but terror. I was so terrified of how angry Soobin might be when he finds out what happened behind his back. We practically walled him off like some fragile artifact... starting with me.

However, that artifact had to be used and was necessary to fulfill our mission.

Fear was knocking on the door... Love opened them and nothing was there.

When Soobin woke up and my eyes met his, I could see his puzzled mind frantically reading and putting together all the new puzzles of thoughts and memories he had lost access to for a long few days.

I prayed so hard that he would remember me and say something to set me free from the worries that imprisoned my heart. Anything.

"Yeonjunie...," he panted, finally founding the way out of the maze and realizing my presence. Tears welled up in his eyes, as he caressed my tear-stained face...

I could have sworn the magic touch I leaned into gave me a second life.

"You empathetic impulsive psycho, you should have let me lead...," he cried, scolding me.

We were both crying, but I had to laugh because his calm voice made them the most comforting words I could hear. Finally we are all together again.

"I love you too..."

"... but all of those things about the Star, Magic Island and that you found out about the devil's purpose... how? How did you find out?" Taehyun asked after I explained to Beomgyu and Soobin what exactly has happened so far and that we still have a lot to figure out.

All eyes ended up on me and I stood up from the moss as I was excited by Taehyun's questioning.

"You might actually like that a lot, Tyun. I think we should go on a little trip!" I smiled widely, took out my car keys from the pocket and jingled them.

"What?! What is your car doing here? It crashed in the Magic Forest!" Kai exclaimed excitedly, getting into the passenger seat.

"Oh, really?! Then maybe it exists in each of our realities. It transported me here," I laughed enthusiastically and put the keys into the ignition.

"As a personal portal...," the amazed sigh came from behind.

"Everyone ready?" I looked back to check if the others were also strapped in and smiled. Then I turned on the radio and started the car.

"Let's go!"

The music was playing loud. We were vibing to its rhythm and every single note in harmony. Nothing felt as alive, present and magical as singing and laughing with them. That moment had the power to gently and painlessly wash away all my worries.

It seemed that the wide path and the upcoming decisions were finally in my own hands - I happily stretched out my fingers, resting on the steering wheel, and breathed out satisfied.

Ting.

Let's play some more...

My body tensed.

The boys stuck their hands out of the rolled-down windows to enjoy the breeze that flowed through their fingers. A chill ran down my spine.

"What do you think, daring warrior?"

Leave us alone - I clenched my jaw and glanced at Kai, who was innocently observing the artificial fighter fish hanging by the rearview mirror.

"Ahahaha, that was a good one..."

Then the angel took down the decoration, bringing it to life with a single glamorous move of his hand.

"Well, what about... him?"

The fish floated down the air current and Kai stuck his head out to watch it.

"Kai, watch out!"

... and just then the well-know tinkling lure flew straight into the car, causing complete chaos as everyone tried to avoid it.

Damn it! I stepped on the gas.

While I saw the others slowly falling asleep thanks to an alluring lullaby, I tried to resist both... the butterfly and the devil's voice.

"NO! I won't ever let you leave the Magic Island!!!"

The engine roared even louder.

"I will leave it whenever I want!"

I added even more to the speed, the car hurtling towards the precipice at the end of the road.

You won't control me anymore... I may not have wings, but I'm not your toy. I am a guardian angel!

I gripped the steering wheel tighter.

... an angel...

I can leave whenever...

"It's not now anyway...," I whispered and carefully stepped on the other pedal.

Both the voice and the butterfly's lure disappeared with the screeching of the brakes. The car stopped only a few meters before it was too late.

The noise was replaced by sudden silence... One by one, the boys slowly opened their eyes again, resembling rising stars.

No one spoke. They all looked around at the beautiful wild landscape outside the windows until the sight of green meadows and forests lured them outside. We slowly walked towards the cliff.

"This is it?" Taehyun asked quietly with a bright smile, as the small flying islands in the distance took his breath away. His eyes sparkled, while watching the clear sea and woodland below us. Even these simple adorable actions of his were able to cure my inner wounds.

I was so glad that he found the way to me.

"Yeah... these are Neverlands - places where time has no sense," I returned his beaming smile and proudly wrapped my arm around his shoulders.

"Down there... in those woods - there live boys who told me everything I know. Also, they can fly without wings," I whispered to him with a mysterious smirk, attracting his attention.

Without wings?

"Won't they fall like that?" Taehyun wondered, looking at the wound on the back of my hand.

"Not if they don't think about it," I chuckled and patted his shoulder blade.

Magician didn't even have to say it... his gaze lingering on Amor's angelic face said it all. A single thought was enough to instantly change the direction of his determination...

What if I could finally fly with you...?

Only those important things before you leave quickly: this is the end of this book. Thank you veeery much, if you read until now ♥ I'm even more thankful, if you supported me/book with your votes or comments... or even both! ♥ In case you really like the story and want to know what happens next, it continues in the second book under the title: Far Far Away from Daydream to Freefall. If you want to be sure you won't miss it, you can follow my profile ^^

If you're still here:

God damnnn, I was creating this chapter literally for a whole day XDDD from 9AM until 8PM... that's like my whole shift at work... and it's barely 1K words long, guys. So I really hope you liked and enjoyed it XDDD My head hurts... dw, I ate... but I almost didn't *cough*. Btw, I'm almost sure it is not obvious, so I'm telling u this:

- the butterflies have practically nothing to do with the demon. They just happen to appear right where the demon is too XDD Also, they are neither bad nor good. First, they showed Beomgyu the way to the dryad... they also led Yeonjun, but the demon caused the car crush btw... secret secret. Second, they led Taehyun to the water portal... and the last one - in this chapter their lure actually saved the boys from being possessed. It can't be in the story, because not even Yeonjun knows that, so it's our little secret hehe x33 XDD He only knew the butterflies show the portals and flies through them into some other worlds. Uhmm... Maybe Taehyun will find it out in the future, he is my right hand after all ♥ (No, he is my boss, lol)

Okay! So that's it. Hopefully I mentioned everything I wanted, phewww. Thank you for reading! Bye bye 'till the next chapter! I love you very much pixies~ ♥♥♥
