Standing in front of the main doorway I put fingers on my forehead to open the third eye. Light webs that formed two silhouettes appeared in the near dark distance... spot by spot. 

"Okay, they are in the kitchen. I'll let you in... just go upstairs and lock Heeseung into my room. I'll check on him later... Ready?"

"Always."

The key turned in the lock, I pressed the handle and quietly closed the door as soon as Kai entered. I watched him walk up a few stairs to make sure he could make it up safely, then I took it straight across the corridor to the kitchen.

The view I got felt like a daydream that made me stop under the arched entrance with my mouth slightly opened.

The dinning table was full of beautifully arranged whole food meals... some of the fruits and vegetables were even cut into unusual artistic shapes. I noticed Soobin carefully cutting strawberries and giggling about some Beomgyu's nonsensical joking around. They were both wearing their matched old pink and sky blue aprons and seemed to have fun.

When Soobin turned to catch another of chaotic airplanes with his mouth, his eyes finally landed on my presence and his smile warmly welcomed me. 

"Oh, Taehyunie is here."

I raised my palm and tried to smile in hello, but only a shy smirk came out of it.

"Oww. Welcome, Love~"

What's going on? - I glanced at Beomgyu who was happily taking my hand and leading me to my place at the table.

"You came back just in time! The lunch is already ready."

I see - I finally blinked in a confusion ignored by Beomgyu and sat down looking from one to another lover.

"The lunch?" It literally looked like a feast for the gods.

"It's been a while since we all ate together...," Beomgyu sighed and sat next to me on the other side of this corner.

"Right?" replied Soobin before he got a little bit stuck in his thoughts, then he leaned his head to his shoulder frowning, "I think we used to eat all together on a daily basis."

We all... together- The words made me tense up. This is not right.

Just then Kai finally entered the kitchen, surprised expression settled on his face. We exchanged the shared repressed startle, before he stepped in. 

"Hi, Sweethearts~ Are we celebrating something?" Kai asked, smiling much more naturally than I did. After that he came closer and caressed Beomgyu's hair.

"Ain't every day worth celebrating?"

Hyuka lovingly looked down into Beomgyu's eyes, then replied his rhetorical question: "That's right, my Rose."

So I'll be the bad one... it dawned on me when Kai kissed Beomgyu, playing his absurdly sweet game.

Can you distract Soobin? I asked him telepathically, when he leaned to me as well and put his lips on my forehead. 

Sure... don't be too hard on him. 

"Woow... should I feel offended?" Soobin asked pouting, as he brought some orangeade and put it on the table. 

"Oh, of course not, my Peony. How could I miss these cheeks..."

Kai started following Soobin around like a dog's tail, hugging him every chance he got. Soobin never minded, on the contrary, he clung to Kai perhaps even more.

Come with me... I touched Beomgyu's shoulder, getting up and leaving the kitchen. I felt how his nervousness hit in for a second, but he slowly followed me to the stairs.

"Are you leading me to your room? We should play only after we eat something," he said in a tensed playfulness. 

When we approached my room, I faced him. Stay calm. 

"No playing... I wanna talk about your acting," at least I tried to soften my tone. "What are you doing? This play about 'Happily ever after'... It all hurts, I know it does, but me and Kai - we are still here by your side, fighting, and we need you sane. We have to hide Yeonjun's existence in front of Soobin until things are resolved, but now you're fooling even your heart...," I spoke calmly. 

Even though I didn't want to hurt him, my honest words had to broke that pink illusion he covered his mind with. He hugged his arms and looked away from me. 

"... and what if those things never get resolved?" he asked uncertainly, his voice weakened and he bit his lip. "What if there's nothing else we can do, Tyun? Shouldn't we enjoy the time we have left?" 

I watched him taken aback, it took my breath. I never considered it an option. 

"No?" My hands ended up on his shoulders and I pushed back my tears, looking straight into his soul. 

"No, I won't give up." I pointed to the door of my room: "We brought Heeseung. He is safe yet still unconscious. I will put protective charms on my room, play some recharging music for us and when we are done in the kitchen, you'll lock yourself inside as well and won't leave the room until one of us comes for you," I ordered him confidently to give him a feeling that we can win this war together. 

Beomgyu's expressions were changing throughout my speech... from hurt face, through ignited spark in his eyes to uncertain faint smile. 

"Why? What about Soobin and Kai?" 

"Kai cannot be possessed... and I need Soobin to help us." 

To help us? Beomgyu made a sour grimace. "But how can he-" 

"The spirit divided us by abusing their twin flame connection... so, on the contrary, I will use it to find Yeonjun and bring us back together... somehow," I exhaled. When I said my plans out loud, they seemed even closer and chillingly real... even though they were actually based on my assumptions and hope for miracles. 

Beomgyu was just processing it for a while, eyes fixed on the floor. 

"Are you going to break my seal in Soobin's memory?" he gulped slowly returning his gaze to me. 

"If I have to..." 

Maybe I couldn't visit our Akasha chronicles anymore... 

... but I still had a permission to enter Archer's heart and soul.

It gets though... I hope you feel the incoming tension and flames licking their heels XDD ehm, Taehyun found the last option, where to search for some clues. There are like... probably 4+ chapters left in this book...? I plan to write Taehyun's and Kai's action in the next chapter, and then it's like only the climax chapter and some final chapters!
