"Day After Cody's Disappearance"

A group of six friends consisting of three girls and three guys had all fallen apart, but it was because of the one that disappeared that some of them got back together in hopes of finding him.

Kai:

After three months, Kai had officially become sober. Turning on the TV, the news came up and was covering the story of a boy who had disappeared the night before. Kai noticed the boy, the one that was apart of his group of friends.

Sadie:

Recently released, Sadie was trying to make new friends, but was ultimately failing for they all knew about her past,  about the family of four she had killed. Picking up a newspaper, she sipped on her orange juice, and when turning the page a picture of a boy she recognized was surrounded by a report. The headline: Berryville Teen Vanishes, Nowhere To Be Seen.

Blaire:

Across the country, Blaire sat at her desk waiting for the day to start. One by one, students fled in and found their seats. Soon, students pulled out their phones and were fascinated by a trending topic on Twitter. She turned to her friend Beverly.

"What's going on?" she asked, trying to sneak a look onto her phone.

Beverly moved so that the phone was in sight of both of them. "A Berryville teen has vanished into thin air." She paused, and then looked back at Blaire. "Wait, didn't you move here from Berryville?"
