A month passed, filled with dates and passionate kisses. Nevada was literally the girl of Joey's dreams, and somehow he'd managed to get her to be his girlfriend. He no longer spent a week waiting to see her for open-mic night, like he once did. Now, he was seeing her almost everyday, and found himself quickly falling for her.

"Have I mentioned how I totally knew you liked her?" Macy asked.

"Every day," Joey said, rolling his eyes as he wiped down the counter.

"Well, I did!" she laughed as she finished making a customer's order. "I still wonder what she sees in a dork like you, though."

"Jealous?" he teased.

"That you're in a relationship and I'm not? One hundred percent, yes, I am," she admitted nonchalantly. "Oooo, maybe tonight a really cute guy with a guitar will come in! His name will be Texas and we'll fall head over heels in love!"

"Shut up," Joey chuckled, playfully shoving her.

"Speaking of states," she continued. "Your's just walked in."

Turning to look, Joey smiled when a beaming Nevada came rushing over to him. Her hair was curling in every direction as they bounced with each fast paced step she took. He barely had time to adjust to her presence before she launched herself into his arms, wrapping her legs around him. Grinning from ear to ear, she pulled him into a kiss, followed by another and then another.

"Not that I'm not loving this public display of affection," Joey said, as she kissed his cheek. "But, do you want to tell me what the cause for it is...other than my irresistable good looks?"

Laughing, she unhooked herself from him, pulling down her jean shorts that rided up in the process.

"Guess who just called me," she said, not even phased by the teasing kissy faces Macy was making at them.

"Who?" Joey asked.

"Come on, guess!"

"Fine," he conceded, stroking his chin in a dramatic fashion. "Was it Beyoncé?"

"I wish, but no. It was Ethan Rhodes!"

Immediatly remebering why that name sounded so familiar, Joey's eyes widened.

"The talent agent!?"

"The very one. I thought he wanted nothing to do with me, but he called this morning and wants to sign me to his agency! Joey, I'm getting an agent!"

"Not just any agent, babe. He's one of the best, according to you," he added, proud of his girlfriend.

As if smiles couldn't get any bigger, hers did, and seeing no reason not to, Joey pressed his lips onto hers, seeing that she was in a very celebratory mood.

"Macy, I think I'm going to leave early today," he said, his eyes still glued to Nevada's lips.

"Excuse me? You're going to what?" Macy questioned, not at all keen on the idea of being alone this shift.

"Yeah...suddenly, I'm feeling very sick. I probably shouldn't be standing up much longer. I think I should be in bed," he added, winking at Nevada suggestively before fake coughing to try and sell his act.

"Joseph Harmon, you are such a liar," she said, not believeing him.

Good thing she wasn't his boss.

Snaking an arm around Nevada, they rushed out of the shop, heading back to his place to...celebrate.
