The sun rays were spreading all over the world in the dawn by 6 am with an unquenchable thirst to touch and feel the moisture in the leaves of the plants which covers the land and slowly the sun intensified its rays in an attempt to cool down his burning self atleast by getting a sneak peak of his love the forest. And the  forest let her love embrace her with his warm rays through the trees and plants making the sunrise look more romantic and blissful . A bus was moving in a synchronious way in the road in harmony to the melodies of birds which was getting straight into the heart of a guy who was sitting in one of the window seat and looking at the natural delight with a smile . 

The bus stopped in front of a huge forest reserve and he got down with a back pack and turned around with a thudding sound which was heard right behind him . He looked back to find a backpack rolling in the road and then a petite form jumping down from the bus . Her messy bun and her tank top and trousers made her look all set for a forest trail yet her 5.2 ft height and pouty face with a confused look made her look nothing less than a school kid. She was calling someone and tensed with something the other person said on the next side . She cut the call with frustration clearly written over her face and he was observing her for quite ample amount of time without his knowledge . 

The girl checked for something in her backpack and her eyes widened in relief after finding what she was searching for . a selfie stick . The very next moment the confidence in her eyes beamed up and she looked at the direction where he was standing or probably staring at her for very long time . She smiled at him and approached him while he was standing rooted to the place with his hands secured in his pockets . He could feel his heart rate increasing rapidly and this was completely wierd for him . 

  The girl came near him and gave a smile before asking " umm . hi are you here to explore the forest   ?"

The guy smiled and nodded his head saying " mm yes  "

The girl smiled and said " good .. umm would you mind if i join you ?"

The guy raised his left eyebrow questioningly while she continued "Don't get me wrong . I am a travel blogger and I came here to make a video on unexplored places in the forest . My friend who is well experienced with this forest trail couldn't join me unfortunately and I feel quite unsure to go alone into the forest since this is my first time in exploring wild .It would be glad if you could accompany me "

The guy smiled while she mumbled within herself " ayyo ivanuku purunjucha illayaanu vera thelaye. ellaam andha sakthi paradesiyaala vandhadhu "

The guy laughed by hearing to her rantings and said " sure enaku ungaloda join pannikuradhula endha prechanayum illa "

The girl turned towards him with a shine in her eyes and asked " hey neenga tamizha ? cool.. engada englishlaye pesanumo 3 naalaikumnu nenachu bayandhuten . by the by I am maya , travel blogger"

The guy smiled and shook his hands with hers saying " naren ornithologist " 

Maya widened her eyes in excitement and asked " Ornithologistaa really ?? that's cool . eppovum travel partners either summa work stresslendhu releif kedaika vandha IT professionalsaavo illa andha edathula iruka local guideaavo dhaan irupaanga .This is the first time I am gonna travel with  a birds expert into a wild trail . I am now pretty sure that this is gonna be quite interesting "

Naren just gave a smile towards her and they made their way into the wild jungle which was looking ravishingly beautiful by its lush green vegetations welcoming them into the paradise of wild species and birds . The forest was located in a serene and quite elevated which fascinated Maya a lot by the level difference she see. 

Naren was looking and observing her expressions and made sure she was safe while walking , 

Maya who was enjoying the blissful silence for few minutes looked at Naren and asked "  epdi indha place choose panneenga ? "

Naren replied looking into her eyes " Ferruginous pochard "

Maya looked at him and said " idhkaa uuu amchaa " ( don movie reference )

Naren looked at her confused while she continued " puriyalela ? ipdi dhaana enakum irukum ada velakkama dhaan sollenpa ingenna oru vaarthai oru latchama nadakudhu " 

Naren laughed and said " adhu oru threatened species of bird ma ... duck maari wetlandsla irukum . Worldlaye romba rare andha species inga spot pannirkuradha solraanga so.. adhoda presence inga confirm pantu andha edatha reserved forest aakaradhuku proposal kudukavum adhoda count increase panna ennalaam seiyanumnu report pannavum dhaa naa vandhuruke " 

Maya looked at him with widened eyes and said " paadhi puriyala but idhukellaam association namma indiala iruka enna ?sorry enaku iq konjam illa illa romba kammi so sollunga"

Naren smiled and said " ornithologistna ennane theriyaadhavanga irukela nee dhaan ornithologistnu naa sonnone andha professiona identify panna modhal person. so un iq ennavo correctaa dhaa iruku . and answer for your question aama iruku SALCON . coimbatorela base aagiruku naa anga assistant ornithologistaa work panren " 

Maya smiled at him and they were continuing the trail with normal chitchats while Naren was thiinking on how wierdly he let a stranger into his comfort zone very quickly while it takes atleast an hour for him to ease  to the environment . He is definitely not an introvert but he initially takes a little bit of time to adapt in but with Maya the connect was truly magical . 

After a good 1 hour of walk Maya and Naren settled themself in a rock to catch up some much needed rest while Maya was about to drink water naren stopped her saying " motha energyum drain aaydum 5 minutes kaluchu kudi "

Maya looked at him with you are unbeleivable look and said " oru manushiku indha sudhandhira naatla sudhandharama thanni kooda kudika urimai illaya "

Naren smiled and tapped her head saying " eii mental . motha energyum drain aayta evan nadandhu varadhu "

Maya tapped her index finger in her chin and said " nee nadandhu po naa piggy back erikuren " 

Naren looked at her with widened eyes and said " eii paithiyam unna thookitu nadandhu naa hospitalla mudhugodinju seruradhuka "

Maya looked at him with angry eyes and said " hello hello naa 50 kg dhaa nee dhaa nalla hulkuku annan maari iruka "

Naren stood to his full height and came near her and said " podi....arisimoota  " and turned to leave the place with a smile while Maya fumed and ran behind him and jumped over him by clutching his shoulders and made herself comfortable in his back saying " arisimootana solra thookitu po appo dhaa vaai adangum "

Naren was shocked by her actions and his heart beat was rising in such a great speed that he sounded feebly saying " eii erangu maya "

Maya tightened her hold on his neck and said " mudiyave mudiyaadhu thookitu poda bodysoda " 

For her it was mere punishment she gives for her travel partner who teased her but for him the chemical reactions his body was undergoing was completely new and he gulped was about to move while Maya laughed and got down saying " ini arisimootanu sonna ipdi dhaa pannuve " 

Naren's inner sense echoed saying " appo adikadi kooptra vendi dhaan " while he smirked and followed her before stopping in his tracks . 

Maya looked at him saying eii en... while Naren actioned her to remain silent and he laid down in the floor and placed his ears to the ground . Maya found his actions wierd and sat down near his ears and whispered in his other ear " enna panra ?"

Naren's breath hitched a second with her feminine scent close to his nostril while he moved her head from his ears with one of his fingers and heard to the sound of underwater closely and his lips curled into smile . 

Naren got up and held the hands of maya and said " First unexplored placeku polaama ?"

Maya widened her eyes with excitement and nodded her head while Naren was following the path by checking for underwater sound here and there . After 30 minutes of walk they were standing before a humongous waterfall which was atleast 30 ft high and butterflies were seen here and there . beautiful flowering plants were located at the banks of the waterfall and Maya started jumping in excitement . She took out her selfie stick and started recording as if she is talking to people and Naren was searching for the bird species  he came in seach of . He was walking along the banks while he found something red in colour in the mid of the stream from the water fall .

Naren followed the path and he took out his dslr cam and focused towards the direction while he started seeing so many other red ball like structure emerging from the water . he was looking at it with so much concentration nthat one of his eyes started to tear as he was focusing at those spots without even blinking . After 10 seconds he was gifted with most magnanimous view of about 20 ferruginous pochard swimming together and he captured it carefully . The view of the bird drenching into  the water and lifting up its head was un doubtedly the most beautiful sight he have ever seen . He took ample amount of documenting and made a rough report on ratio of birds he found and reported that the female species are in healthy ratio to that of male birds and a little effort from government side would definitely help in improving the population of the birds . 

He took a good 30 minutes of time in doing his work and turned around to find none and that he have come long way from the waterfall and the first thing that striked in his mind was Maya . He slapped his forehead and started running in the path he came and found noone near the waterfall . He found her bag and selfie stick and mobile scattered here and there and the terror started growing even more in him after seeing foot print of tiger . He felt as if the world was crumbling in front of him and shouted " MAYAAA " in high tone which made few birds sitting on the tree to fly away . With no response he again called Maya  in high tone while tears were streaming down his face . 

Naren slapped his forehead and was about to call Maya for the third time when he found a movement beside the waterfall . After 10 seconds Maya came out with a bright smile by lifting her hair which was falling in her head by the force of water and she was circling around playing under the waterfall making Naren's breath hitch and heart skip a beat . 

she have removed her oversized shirt and was standing in her shorts and black tank top drenched top to bottom which made him gulp and his mind was automatically playing thanga thaamarai magale in his mind .

Maya was running here and there under the water fall and she was enjoying the way each and every droplets embracing her body .

Naren averted his eyes from her the moment his eyes started travelling down her lips yet his eyes were betraying him again and again which made him take in every ounce of her facial features which was soaked in the milky water making her look nothing less than a wet white rose

His eyes were travelling towards her curves and he immediately turned the other side and closed his eyes and started murmering thappa paakaadha thappa paakaadha by caressing his heart which was thumping in such a speed that it would explode anytime soon . He is not someone who hasn;t been around girls or seen them enjoying themselves under waterfall . his research partner has alwaysbeen his bestfriend varsha but none of the time did he feel like see her or explore the curves of a girl . And never did he found his heart thumping this faster . Every damn thing was new with her and his eyes and body were not cooperating with him to maintain his dignity .

just then maya noticed  him standing by turning the other side and called him " hey naren inga vaa jollyaa iruku " 

Naren took his own time to calm down his racing heart and found the sun rising up in the horizon marking the afternoon . He calculated that they could only get maximum of 4 hours of sunlight and they have to find a safe place to shelter and food to eat and went near her to bring her out of water fall . 

Naren called her " Maya podhum vaa time kammiya iruku vela iruku "

Maya pouted and said " edhu adhukullaya adhellaam mudiyaadhu vaa "

Naren was concerned about the tiger footprint he saw near the water fall and if at all he isn;t wrong the tiger must be somewhere near them and it is definitely not safe to stay here for so long time which might turn fatel for both of them . 

without any other choice he went inside the waterfall and held the hands of maya saying" romba time aayruchu inga idhuku mela irukuradhu safe illa vaa polaam "

Maya pouted and said " innum konja neram naren pls pls plssss"

Though naren found her pout cute and worthy to melt he restricted himself and said " maya tiger foot print paathe . inga dhaa engayaavadhu pakkathula irukum pls vaa polaam 
"

Maya widened her eyes in excitement and said " aii appo tigera nerla paakalaama iru appo tiger varudhaanu paathutu povom " 

Naren looked at her with you are crazy look and said " eii idhenna zoonu nenachiya paathutu poradhuku . paatha orediya po vendi dhaa naa sol... " 

he spotted something moving beside the shrubs in the bank of the waterfall and pushed maya inside the cave which was situated beside the water fall in swift movement by closing her mouth . 

He checked for any prints of wild life inside the cave in quick movement and pushed themselves beside a rock after confirming that there is no sign of animals inside the cave . Maya was initially confused of his acts and looked back to find the tiger standing right in front of the waterfall in the rock where maya and naren were initially standing . She widened her eyes in fear and naren pressed her head in his chest still looking at the tiger and actioned her to close her mouth . 

The tiger was looking here and there and turned towards the cave which made Maya shiver and hug Naren even more closer while Naren hugged her back even more tighter to comfort her . The tiger extended one of its leg inside the cave and Naren closed his eyes in fear of losing his life which is merely an inch away from him . The very next moment the tiger turned the other side spotting a deer and jumped away from the rock towards the bank in order to chase the deer . 

Naren opened his eyes after 5 second and found nothing in front and the sight of tiger chasing the deer in distance and let out a breath of releif while he noticed Maya hugging him more tighter and shivering in fear . He smiled and whispered "Maya " 

Maya lifted her head in fear and looked around while Naren controlled his smile and said in a stern look " Tiger poiruchu " and showed her hands which were clutching onto him while she removed her hands in a swift moment and let out a sheepish smile . 

Naren controlled himself from smiling and looked at her sternly saying "ennavo tigera pakkathula paakalaamnu sonna poi selfie eduthutu variya ?"

Maya smiled which actually triggered the anger of Naren and he said " sirikaadha maya semma kovam varudhu . konjam miss aayrundha rendu perum missed call aayrupom . eppo paaru velayaatu thanam seriousness konjamaachu iruka unaku "

Maya shook her head in all sides and said " seri seri vudu narenuh naa enna venuna panne edho waterfalla kulikkura aasaila adhigaprasangi thanama panten sorry narenuu "

Naren melted to her puppy eyes and said " seri dress maathitu vaa polaam "

Maya nodded her head while he gave her bacg and changed his dress behind one of the rocks . They continued their trail and was excited to unfold the new memories and experiences in store for them . 

Maya was continuously laughing and beating Naren for the jokes he made and the way he pulled her legs while Naren was walking along with her taking in the feel of her hands brushing against his and her fragrance hitting against his nostrils and her voice filling his ears as a beautiful melody . he was taking in every detail of maya into him openly while maya was taking in his warmth and his humorous talks into her without even her realising .
