Narrator's POV

Bela,"Mahir ji, please don't do like this. I beg you. I really love..."

Before bela could complete...

Mahir,"Bacha, kya hua? Utho... Tum ro kyu rahi ho? Please utho."

That's when bela gets up with jerk and looks at her surroundings. She realises that she was dreaming and still in hospital. One look at mahir's tensed face and her heart clenches.

Mahir,"Bacha, kya hua? Why are you crying? Koi bura sapna(dream) dekha kya?"

Mahir cups her face.

Bela thinks,"oh god! Tho wo sab sapna tha? Ab agar sapne ke baare mai mahirji ko batayi tho bohot hurt hojayenge. No no I can't see him hurt."

Mahir,"Bacha, back to earth. Kuch bolo. Why were you crying?"

Bela hugs him tightly.

Bela,"kuch nahi, mahir ji. I was getting stomach pain."

Mahir backs off and cups her face.

Mahir,"Bohot pain horaha hai kya? Hot water bag lekar aawon kya?"

Bela,"No no. I am fine now."

Mahir,"Tumhe patha hai mai kitna dar gaya tha."

Mahir hugs her tightly to which bela reciprocates with a bright smile and happy tears. They stay like that for some more time, finding peace in each other's solace.

It's been 1 week since bela got discharged and finally, Sehgal's got their happiness back. Everyone were surprised when mahir got bela home with her in his arms and bela hid her head by burying it in his chest. That day, on Bela's insistence, mahir apologized everyone for his rude behavior and he himself took an oath to always keep her happy as well as love her till eternity. Bela became even more naughty as usual and whenever mahir gets angry with her acts, she gives a cute pout and mahir's anger vanishes the very next moment.

It was a good morning for everyone except for bela as mahir did something unexpected or I must say a sin in Bela's point of view.

Bela is happily sleeping on her husband's chest and mahir was stroking her hair wide awake. He looks at the clock which is showing 5:00 AM. He sighs and kisses Bela's forehead gently. Feeling his lips on her, bela moans and snuggles more into him.

Mahir,"Baby, wake up."

Instead of waking up, she buries her head on the crook of his neck indicating she doesn't want to wake up. Mahir let out a chuckle and again tries to wake her up. He give up after a lot of attempts but he smiles when he gets a brilliant idea.

Mahir,"Baby, Shall we eat chocolate icecream?"

Bela immediately wakes up and nods her head grinning. Mahir too gets up and nods his head grinning.

Mahir,"Yes, we will eat icecream today evening. Not now."

Mahir shows his tongue to her and bela frowns.

Bela,"No thanks."

Bela again sleeps with her back and mahir nods his head in disbelief with his lips curved into a beautiful smile.

Mahir thinks,"Ye ladki aise nahi maan ne wali.."

He picks bela and starts heading to washroom. Bela tries to free herself from him but of no use. He makes her sit on the slab and orders her to stay quite.

Mahir,"Bela, it's 5:15... Chup chap brush karo."

Bela makes a face.

Bela,"Mujhe brush nahi karna. Jaawo tum khud karlo aur haa, mai tho aaj yoga and exercise bilkul nahi karungi."

She folds her hands and makes a fake angry pout. Knowing her full well, mahir hands her brush forcefully.

Mahir,"Chup chap brush karo."

Bela,"Mai papa ko aapka complaint karungi."

Mahir pulls her cheeks,"Alele... chota baby papa ko meri complaint karegi? Koi nahi, mai 10 sit ups kardunga... Ab jaldi brush karo warna no icecream."

Bela immediately starts brushing her teeth and they both freshen up. After good 10 mins, mahir takes bela to lawn and make her do exercises and yoga with him. However bela did all those but here comes the main thing which she can't do at all. Confused? Thinking what bela can't do? Well, let me tell you... It is 'Meditation'.

Mahir made her sit.

Bela,"What is this? I don't want to do anything."

Mahir,"Bela, exercises and yoga are good for your health. Meditation gives you peace of mind. Close your eyes."

Bela frowns and closes her eyes. Mahir too sits beside her maintaining a good distance and starts doing meditation.

After 2 minutes, bela slightly opens her right eye and looks at mahir who is doing meditation. She opens her other eye too and shows her tongue to him.

Mahir starts speaking without opening his eyes,"Tumhari nautanki bandh karo aur chup chap meditation karo."

Bela gets alarmed and closes her eyes tightly as a kid and mumbles "Hitler".

Though she said that in a low voice, mahir heard it and smiles inwardly.

Scene shifts to dining table where Andy is glaring at mahir and bela is standing beside andy by showing her tongue to mahir. All the others are giggling by looking at mahir's situation.

Andy,"What did you do,mahir?"

Mahir,"Dad... Actu...Actually..."

Andy,"I will not forgive you,mahir. Tum bela se 1 hour takh exercise,yoga aur meditation karaya?"

Bela,"Haan... Aur dhanto papa."

Mahir glares at her.

Andy,"This is totally unfair,mahir. Sirf bela ko nahi, saath mai yuvi aur kuhu ko bhi karwana tha."

Yuvi,Kuhu and bela gets shocked. Andy Winks at mahir and they both share a hi-fi while laughing.

Bela frowns and start beating mahir playfully. She then turns to andy and pouts.

Bela,"Cheaters ho aap dono. Jaaiye mai aap dono se baath nahi karne wali. Chalo yuvi aur kuhu."

She goes to her room with yuvi and kuhu on toe. All the others laugh even more.

Rj,"Haww mahir bhai, bela aapse pakka baath nahi karegi."

Mahir gets a bit tensed. Just then, vish and anu comes in and gets confused on seeing everyone laughing.

Vish,"Kya hua guys? Why are you all laughing?"

Sumi tells them everything and they both too starts laughing vigorously.

Mahir,"Bas Karo yaar. Yaha mujhe dar lagraha hai aur aaplog hass rahe ho."

Everyone suppresses their laugh and maintains a serious expression.

Anu,"Mahir, if you want, I will give you a suggestion."

Mahir,"Yes please!!!"

Anu,"Breakfast mai uski favorite aloo paratha banawo."

Mahir,"Par mujhe tho banaana nahi aatha.."

He looks at sumitra with puppy eyes,"Mumma.."

Sumi,"I am sorry,beta. I can't help. Agar bela ko patha chala tho mujhse baath nahi karegi. Mai chali apni bahu ke paas. Tum kaatlo.. Byee.."

Sumi goes to bela. Mahir looks at andy.

Andy,"Aise math dekho... Mujhe paratha ka p bhi nahi aatha..."

Andy too leaves and mahir now looks at vish and anu having no other option.

Vish,"Okay!! We both will help but di ko patha nahi chalna chahiye."

Mahir grins and nod his head.
However, mahir prepares paratha and goes near bela. She was sitting on bed and listening to songs. After seeing mahir, she tilts her head to other side with an angry pout. Mahir smiles and goes to sit beside her after closing the door. He removes Bela's headphones making her frown.

Mahir,"I am sorry."

When bela doesn't respond, he kisses her cheek,"I am really very sorry. Dekho mai tumhare liye paratha banaya."

Bela smiles and mahir starts feeding her happily.

Mahir,vish and anu are in mahir's room.

Mahir,"Bela tho bahar gayi. Ab hum kya kare?"

Anu,"Kya kare matlab? Chalo bela ki dairy dhoondte hai."

Vish,mahir nods and three of them start searching for her dairy. After some good 15 minutes, mahir finds it.

Anu,"Chalo... You start reading... we will go.."

They both goes out and mahir settles himself on bed and opens the first page.
