Bora's POV

My hands tremble inside the pockets of my dark sweatpants as I walk briskly towards the address V told me in his messages.

Turns out BTS, apparently a really famous boy band that won multiple awards and is adored by millions of girls across the globe, lives just five minutes away from me.

I swallow as I turn the corner, my eyes scanning the rows and rows of houses on my right. They all look so similar and so blended into each other I can barely tell the line where each house is separated from one another.

It looks so normal that nobody could guess that BTS possibly lived here, among these small white houses. Most people probably assumed that they inhabited a mansion, built on somewhere exotic like Hawaii or Jeju Island.

But what they didn't know is that they
had remodeled five apartments, connecting them together to form a gigantic house. It was a perfect disguise, actually. On the outside, it looked like five average houses, with five different families living in them. But on the inside, it was a spacious home occupied by seven world stars, a place they would spend their days when they weren't off traveling to places I have only dreamed of going like Germany and USA.

I guess I was partly right after all.

V was a humble rich boy in a way.

As I rang the doorbell, my lips dry from anxiety and breathing rough from worry and concern, I suddenly had a thought. It chilled my blood cold as it pointed out to me how wrong this is.

Maybe this was all a mistake.

Why would two famous pop stars want to meet me, a mute, antisocial girl that only have friends because I do whatever things they tell me to do?

But by then, of course, it was too late.

The door swings open, revealing a man with raven hair, doe eyes, and chubby cheeks. When I lay my eyes on him, I immediately think it's a giant overgrown baby who has somehow managed to keep their features when they were two years old.

I'm taken aback. Who is this? This isn't V- he looks nothing like the selfie that he sent me. Did I come to the wrong house?

I freeze as he waves at me, with an angelic smile painted on his lips.

Are you Bora?" He asks, and I nod nervously.

This is it. I can't back out now, no matter what happens.

"Jungkook!" A deep voice rings out loudly from the inside of the house, and I hear the thump of footsteps getting closer. "I told you to stay inside!"

Jungkook sheepishly turns away from me to face V. "Sorry, hyung." Then he pulls me into the house before I can do anything about it. The door shuts behind me, and I turn to see the two most beautiful boys I've ever seen in my entire life.

My eyes have been blessed.

I recognize V instantly, but he has a black shirt on, instead of the gray one I saw in the selfie about ten minutes ago.

"Hi." He says to me, and I'm suddenly shocked at how different reality and pictures are. His voice sounds so deep now that's he's in front of me, and somehow, V looks better in person than captured on a camera.

From all the eye candy, I almost forget I'm mute.

With a hesitant smile, I wave at him. He smiles back, and I see Jungkook rolling his eyes in my peripheral vision. "Hyung, can we do the romantic stuff later? I want to make sure she knows my name by now." With Jungkook's words, V freezes in embarrassment. I can clearly see the red blooming up his neck to his cheek, and I smile to myself.

He looks cute when he's blushing.

"You better have memorized my name by now." Jungkook looks pointedly at me, crossing his arms. "I'm already offended enough that you didn't recognize me instantly."

Does he really have to tower over me like that? I get that he's tall, gosh.

I nod enthusiastically back, hoping he won't make me prove my claim.

Apparently Jungkook is not a guy who lets you slide by that easily.

"Say it, then. Loud and clear. I'm listening."

But when I stay dead silent, Jungkook frowns, and I can feel V's gaze narrow in confusion towards me.

"Bora-yah?" V speaks when he notices my eyes, filled with sadness and depression. "What's wrong?"

I lick my lips and look up to meet his gaze. Then I point to my mouth and shake my head.

Realization hits him like a train, I can see it. And now what matters is what he will do after.

He hugs me.

Jungkook hasn't caught on yet- his eyebrows rise at his hyung's sudden gesture.

"Hyung, you're making your move already?"

I silently giggle at Jungkook's remark as V turns to kick his leg.

Then I fall to the ground in a heap of quiet laughter at Jungkook's reaction when V tells him I'm mute.

The poor boy starts hyperventilating like a fish on land, and I don't know if he's faking the motions of him pounding his chest to get his breathing to stabilize or if he's actually trying to stabilize his rapid breathing.

V rolls his eyes at the dramatic response. "Just ignore him. If he's actually hyperventilating, he'll get over it soon." His words sound so bored, like he's experienced this many times before.

Jungkook is not all he seems, is he?

And so is V.
