~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Micheal watched as the flowers intricately bloomed about on his arm. He smiled softly and looked longingly at the red string attached to his ring finger, It stretched for what seemed to be miles and only he could see it. The string felt weightless like all strings and didn't seem to bother him. It passed through him if he moved a certain way and it never bothered the other people either.
"Mich! Are you ready!?" his brother, Iain called.
Micheal snapped out of his trance and grabbed his small bag. "Coming!" He called and got up. They were just going to the park so he didn't bring much, just a sketch book, a few pencils and a couple snacks. The tall boy opened his bedroom door and was met face to face with a mad looking brother. "Sorry Iain I-" Iain held his hand up. "You were watching her draw again weren't you?" It wasn't exactly a question but Micheal nodded anyway. "Her art is just so pretty." He defended which earned a huff from Iain. Iain opened his mouth to lecture Micheal when Oliver, his other brother piped up. "Can we just leave? We wasted enough time as it is."
Iain looked back at Oliver and sighed before looking back at Micheal. "You're lucky I love you." Iain Micheal had heard this spiel before, it was tiring to hear the same thing over and over but he managed. "I know I am." Micheal sighed softly and began walking out the door.
They were an interesting bunch, the three of them. One was always saying sorry to everyone, one followed the others wherever they went, and the last one always got into fights. In order it went Micheal, Oliver, then Iain. They weren't the perfect family in the least but they were closer than most and went almost everywhere together. Most of the family had found their soulmates including Iain and Oliver. Their names were Victoria and Willow. They were nice girls, Victoria was kinda disty but she treated Oliver nicely, Willow was a hardcore girl who took Iain to every rodeo and plane event she could. They were fun to be around however and Micheal didn't mind them. That didn't mean he wasn't jealous of them or saddened that his brothers had found their soulmates first, He could remember the moments clearly. How when Oliver went to shake Victoria's hand his palm exploded with all sorts of color and Victoria too, could see color for the first time. It was a nice moment seeing the two of them finally find their true love, same with Iain. Iain had a mood color changing heart tattoo on his hand, it was weird because it would sometimes turn rainbow and he's not entirely sure what that meant. Anyway when Willow and Iain met, Willow's half dragon tattoo turned whole and they didn't really check it at first and Micheal was the first to point it out. Probably saving them years of frustration.
"Yoo hoo? Mich?" Oliver waved a hand in front of his face. Micheal blinked and looked at his brother. "Huh? Sorry I wasn't listening." Micheal mumbled. Oliver shrugged and continued walking. "I was just asking what you wanted to do when we got there. We're going to the park, remember?" Oliver reminded, to which Micheal nodded. They rounded a corner and Micheal's blood went cold. "You said we were going to the park not an amusement park." Micheal turned to them, face twisted in fear. "Same thing." Iain said and grabbed his hand to continue walking. Micheal stumbled along and gulped. "I think I'm good waiting for you guys." All the while he didn't notice the faint tugging of the string on his finger. "It'll be fun!" Oliver said and dragged him towards a ferris wheel. Micheal's eyes went wide with fear and he pulled back from his brothers. "No, no, no, I absolutely cannot go on there!"
They argued about it for a few minutes before Micheal's brothers dragged him into the line again. Micheal watched as they went wide eyed as someone stepped behind him. He turned around and panicked. "What happened!? Did the ride malfunction??" He asked quickly. Please say it did. He thought to himself. Oliver just shook his head and ushered him along. Micheal was about to, when a guy with short auburn hair and weird blue eyes bumped him to get moving, he looked strangely terrified as well. "Could you get moving? Not all of us have all day." The guy folded his arms as Micheal froze. Micheal could feel his string tugging him but he dared not look down. His heart raced but he was snapped out of it by the man literally yelling at him. "I said move!" The man barked at him Micheal obeyed and raced up to the front of the line. Micheal could hear the man behind him grumbling something in a language he couldn't recognise. The rest of the wait was a blur until he got shoved into a cart with the red-headed male. Micheal could feel his heart practically pounding out of his chest as they slowly went up and up.
He closed his eyes and until someone flicked him. "Look, we're in the cliche spot." the guy grinned and suddenly his heart fluttered. "Y-yeah." He gulped, relaxing his iron grip on the cart's bars. "What part of Michigan is this? I gotta visit next year." The man pulled out a sharpie and lifted up his sleeve. "Uh Lansing, Lansing Michigan is where we are." Micheal watched him write down and he suddenly felt a light tickle on his arm like he always did when his soulmate was writing on him. He pulled up his sleeve and there in perfect neat writing was Lansing, Michigan. Must visit again. Micheal looked down at his string and low and behold there it was, leading straight to the blue eyed guy. "Uhm hey what'd you say your name was again?" Micheal asked. The guy looked at him strangely. "I didn't but it's Ulijah." Ulijah replied. Micheal sighed shakily and replied. "Well Ulijah, how would you like to find out I was your soulmate?"
Ulijah looked at him quite disgusted. "I'm not into guys..." He paused and stared at Micheal's exposed arm. "You've got to be shitting me."
