A few hours later, there was a knock at the door. You slowly opened it, revealing Napstablook floating there, awkwardly looking at the ground.

"Hi...." He greeted you, his face turning a bit blue, which was his way of blushing.

You waved at him and smiled. "Hi....!" You said, awkwardly.

You tried not to be awkward, since that would probably make him feel bad, but it was just hard for you.

It was now the afternoon, and you still had nothing to do.

"Uh...So...Blook..." you started, awkwardly. "When do you want to...You know...go out?"

His face turned a bit more blue. "U-Um....h-how about tonight....since we have nothing planned...."

You nodded and smiled. "Tonight sounds great"

And then tonight came.

You had gotten dressed in a semi-fancy (f/c) dress and you had your hair in a different style than usual.

Napstablook was wearing a fancy hat made of tears, that he called dapper blook, and a bow tie.

You had both decided to go somewhere not too fancy, since you both couldn't really afford much, so you went to Golden Corral. (((Sorry if anyone doesn't know what that is...They have those here in Florida, but idk about anywhere else)))

Once you got there and ordered your food, you attempted to make conversation.

"So, how's Mettaton? You know, other than going on tour 'n stuff"

Napstablook looked up at you, rather than the floor, where he had been staring.

"Oh....He's fine....He wants to meet you one day....After his tour...."

You perked up a bit. You had always wanted to meet Mettaton, since he's now the surface's biggest star, and you had been pretty excited when you found out Napstablook was related to him.

"That would be awesome!" You said.

"So....You know that he was a ghost...before he was a robot...right?" Napstablook asked.

You nodded.

"He's...he's got Alphys...working on a robot body for me...." He told you, looking down at the floor. You noticed he didn't sound to happy about it.

"Is that bad or good?" You asked him.

He shrugged, well, as much as a ghost can shrug. "I don't really know....I'm just scared....that it would draw more attention to me....."

You nodded understandingly. "Yeah, I get that" You said. "But hey, you'll be able to do a lot more as a robot, at least!" You tried to cheer him up.

He smiled. "Yeah....You're right...."

"And you'll finally be able to drive!" You said, recalling a chapter in one of his stories, where he was complaining about not being able to drive.

He smiled even more, which kinda surprised you, since he didn't smile that much usually.

"When would the body be done?" You asked him, curiously.

He thought for a moment. "Well...Alphys said in a few weeks...."

You nodded.

You guys talked for a little longer about various topics; anime, wattpad, robots, music, etc.

That is, until you heard someone in the restaurant yell.

Everyone turned their heads to the direction it came from, only to see a man with a gun, holding it up to a cashier.

Your heart skipped a beat and you felt as if you could pass out at any moment.

You slowly scooted closer to Napstablook, who was now sitting beside you.

The whole building was silent. Nobody moved.

The mad started pointing the gun at random people, seemingly looking for someone.

He pointed it back at the cashier. "You" He said, pointing at her, then out the window, where a large white van was. "In the car! Now!" He demanded.

The cashier slowly got up, trembling, and walked towards the car.

You hadn't noticed that you started trembling, too.

The man then pointed at some other people, demanding that they get into his van.

They all did what they were told. You saw Napstablook from the corner of your eye dial 911 on his phone, then quietly whispering into it.

The man then pointed the gun at a few more people, including you.

As he pointed the gun at you, you felt a tear go down your face. Crying at a time like this!? You thought as you held your hands up and walked towards the van.

Napstablook was still on the phone, so you just hoped for the best as you boarded a stranger's van.
