People say that opposites attract, but is that really true?

"Excuse me, coming through!"

Pokémon Academy's top student hurried through the halls, her honey blond hair flew behind her as her ocean blue eyes looked in every direction.

The book she was bringing for her friend was tucked away in her arms as she swiftly moved past the students around her.

She checked her watch. It was 8:22. She had promised her friend, Dawn, to meet her in the library at 8:30. She's got eight minutes left, which was plenty in her case.

It was Serena Yvonne's moral not to be late for anything.

Do you believe in destiny?

In a hallway in Pokémon Academy, a certain raven haired boy was trying to make his way through a group of infatuated fangirls. However, just throwing it out there, he wasn't doing a very good job at it.

At all.

"Kay girls, I hate to say this to you bu-- you want a autograph? Sure! Pass me the board. Anyone else want autographs? Wait what I wanted to say was th--uh, no you may not have my address, it's a person's privacy. No, I can't help you with your homework since I have terrible grades myself. Whoa stop crying and calm dow-- waIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THOSE HANDCUFFS?"

Honestly, he couldn't blame the girls for all the reactions. After all, it wasn't anybody's fault for falling in love with a person like him.

He, Ash Ketchum, was the school's heart throb after all.

Does fate really exist?

After the girls stalled Ash for another good five minute or so, he finally made his way through the crowd.

On the other hand, Serena got caught up in something, and she was now making her way to the library, walking faster than usual.

What if destiny and fate is really there?

Serena walked past other people and apologized to the ones she bumped into. Even through she was almost out of time, it wasn't to the point where she had to run. This wasn't enough for her to start panicking.

Caught up in her own trail of thoughts, Serena didn't realize that a certain raven hair boy was running from the opposite direction.

Everyone has their own love story.

Before any of them could react, Ash and Serena collided right into each other.

They just need a little push to get it going.

"Ouch." Was all Ash could say as he collided with the girl. Serena quickly stood up and wiped the dust off her pants, regaining her composure rather quickly.

"I'm sorry, but I'm running low on time."

And with that, she disappeared into the crowd of students, completely unaware of how she just dropped the book she was supposed to deliver to her friend.

Gary Oak, a friend of Ash's walked beside him and pulled him up.

"Who was that?" Ash ruffled his hair, earning a few gushes from fangirls around him.

The spiky brown haired boy let out a laugh before turning to him. "That's Serena Yvonne. She's the principal's daughter, and also the top student in Pokémon Academy."

Ash shrugged, quickly losing interest in the conversation. "Never heard of her."

"Of course you've never heard of her," Gary rolled his eyes, "you're never interested in anybody."

"True that," Ash agreed as they both laughed. Suddenly, something on the ground caught his eyes. Ash bent down and took the book in his hand.

"The girl from before dropped it," he said absentmindedly as he took a glance at the cover. It was two anime girls clinging on to a boy.

" 'My Maid For A Day'...?" he read out loud, obviously weirded out by the strange title. "What kind of person is she to read a book like that?"

With one minute left before 8:30, Serena walked into the library. Her blue haired friend, Dawn, waved her over to a table. Serena gave her a smile as she reached in her bag to get the book. She couldn't find anything.

Awhile ago, Dawn had asked her to bring a book called 'My Maid For A Day'. She had told her that she enjoyed the book's illustrations, so she wanted to use the cover to improve her illustrating skills.

"That's strange..." Serena muttered to herself.

"Where did the book go?"

Everyone has their own love story.
They just need a little push to get it going.
And sometimes, in order to get that push...
You'll need a little misunderstanding.
