Your POV:

I lie on my bed, sleeping peacefully. The sunlight shone through the window, and filled the room with yellow light. Bird Pokemon chirped melodies outside. "Ngh..." I slowly opened my [E/C] eyes, blinking a few times. I finally decided to get up, moving my [H/L] [H/C] hair out of my face. "Another day..." I yawned, as I got up out of bed. My [P/P] was sleeping on a small blanket next to my bed, snoring peacefully. I got up and walked to the bathroom, and turned on the water for a nice warm shower. After that, I got dressed in my Aether Foundation worker uniform, I brushed my hair and my teeth before stepping out of the bathroom. My [P/P] was at the door, patiently waiting for me. "Alright. Let's go." I smiled, as I headed off to the docks to go to Aether Paradise. I have to admit, it was a pain to go there every morning, but... It's my job. Once I got there, my coworkers waved to me, and I waved in return. "Good morning, Wicke." I waved. "Oh, Good morning, [Y/N]! I was looking for you." Wicke smiled, pushing her pink wide-framed glasses closer to her face. Wicke was one of the Admins of the Aether Foundation. She's a sweet lady, and very... Uh... How do I put this... She's rather curvy... and busty, too. "What did you need me for?" I asked, smiling. "Faba and Lady Lusamine have a request for you! They're in the Conservation Area." She said, as I nodded. 'I wonder why they would need me out of all the workers here...' I thought, both confused, and a bit irritated.

<Aether Paradise - 2F: Conservation Area>

"President Lusamine, I heard from Ms. Wicke that you had a request for me?" I asked, as I walked over to the Aether Foundation's president, and saluted. "Ah, yes. [Y/N], Right?" Lusamine turned to face me. She smiled. "Yes, that would be me." I nodded. "As Wicke said, I do have a request. A very important one, at that." Lusamine spoke. "I've been told of your encounter with Team Skull." She said. "Someone told me that when you came across them, you took them out with stealthy elegance... A perfect requirement for a Spy." She said, crossing her arms. "A... Spy?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Yes, a spy. Which leads me to my request. I want you to join Team Skull as an undercover spy for the Aether Foundation. You see, they are quite annoying and irritating enemies of the Aether Foundation. So, I would like your help to collect information that could possibly help us crush them." She said, making a fist and slamming it into her other hand. "This mission is a must, and you will be generously rewarded." Lusamine said, smiling again. 'Me? A spy?' I thought to myself. 'I can barely contain my happiness!' I thought, smiling. As a kid, I had always watched detective shows and such... And the spy's seemed so cool! Their skill, their sneaky nature... Everything. "Well?" Lusamine chuckled. "I accept!" I smiled. "Good. Your mission will start when you arrive at work tomorrow. For now, resume your agenda for today. Dismissed." Lusamine said, as I walked to the elevator.

<Po Town - Shady House: 2F>

"Yo what's takin' so long?" I groaned, glaring at two of my Minions. "Sorry Boss, we're trying the best we can." One of them stated. "Well hurry your sorry asses up! I ain't got all day to deal with your stupidity!" I shouted, as my Golisopod growled. "Jeez..." I sighed, as the two stood by the door. "If you get beat by a kid, then you need to toughen yourself up..." Plumeria stated, walking into the room and pushing the two grunts aside. "Ay Plumes, need something?" I said. "No, Guzma, I don't. I was just wondering why a certain person was missing during the manditory meeting this morning!" She shouted at me. "I'm the boss here, I can be absent if I wanna." I huffed, crossing my arms. "Tch...." She said, crossing her arms as she turned around. Her yellow and pink ponytails swished as she turned, and walked out of the room. "Damn..." I said, rolling my eyes. "Anyways, I told you two to get more of these, and I'm not liking the results. You're gonna find more of these crystals tomorrow, or else." I said. "Now scram." I said, as the two nodded, and scurried out of the room. "Why can't we have any somewhat smart workers around here...." I huffed, as I sat back into my chair.

Okay, so if you haven't read any of my other books before...

I'm WaffleCake(the author), and it's a pleasure to meet you all! I'm usually goofing off at the end of each chapter with a dorky A/N, so... Yeah!

So, I certainly hope you enjoyed the first chapter! Because this is my first "x reader" book.

I mean, I've done an X Reader with Oneshots involving different characters... But I've never really made a book based on a single character and you! Yes, you! The fantabulous reader! XD
