King Torsten awoke from sleep and sat up while rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, looking down at Sif, he smiled at his wife and placed a kiss on her forehead before getting out of bed and approached a water basin filled with clean water and cupped a handful of water and began washing his face off. The voyage to England was quickened due to the winds that promised bitter storms of snow, with winter fast approaching, it would seem that the gods favored Torsten and his allies, Vikings and Dragon Hunters alike.

After he finished washing the stench of sweat and sex off his body, Torsten got dressed, wrapped himself in a thick bear fur cloak, and made his way towards the deck of the Gnasher. Maeve's dreadnaught housed the Viking and Dragon Hunter leaders while their men sailed the rest of their fleet, their new beast of war plummeted several times into icy waters of the North Sea due to her not flying for centuries, the Red Death nearly drowned on several occasions and Torsten found that amusing, that beast is paying for her laziness every day.

Reaching the deck of the Gnasher, Torsten laid eyes on Maeve who had her Skrill dragon skin cloak wrapped around her body while looking out into the horizon. Approaching his ally, Torsten stood beside Maeve and exhaled heavily. "The wind is in our favor, with luck, we should arrive in England in four days," Torsten too looked out towards the horizon and then turned back to Maeve and inquired, "what are your thoughts?"

"I'm thinking about what kinds of dragons we'll encounter," Maeve said, "we know Haddock rides a Night Fury, but we don't know what other species dwell in England," Torsten grunted while Maeve continued, "we would be fools to underestimate our enemy. We have a sizeable force of man and dragons alike, it would be a shame to lose a great many of our pawns because of arrogance."

"Haddock's mind and intelligence is his greatest strength," Torsten admitted, "lucky for us, we have a mind that's just as, if not deadlier than Haddock's." Maeve turned hummed and looked at Torsten with a raised eyebrow. "Ivar?" Torsten grunted in confirmation and smiled lightly. "Ivar's mind is as sharp as a sword, he'll be our battle tactician and advise our warriors how and when to fight," Torsten nodded before continuing, "this battle is one our people need to win! Norway is dead; ravaged and molested by dragons!! But in England? It's the key to begin anew, to destroy the Christians once and for all!"

"I admire your optimism," Maeve said, "but as I said, it's unwise to underestimate Haddock and his people. They'll surprise in some areas and those surprises will cost the lives of many of the pawns we're going to send into battle." Torsten growled lightly while turning to Maeve and smirked at her. "Your concerns are unnecessary Maeve," The king of the Branded Brutes once more looked out towards the horizon and chuckled darkly, "the traitor Haddock has no idea what's coming to his shores."

(Hiccup's pov)

Spending time with my family was exactly what I needed after three months of battle in Wessex. After we had finished our breakfast, Rebecca and Gideon practically dragged me outside of the palace and we had a spectacular snowball fight, as I was being hammered with snowballs, I would pretend to act mortally wounded which caused Rebecca and Gideon to giggle all the more and continue their assault. One of my children's snowballs smacked me right in the face, causing me to fall to the ground and play dead. I could hear my children making their way towards me. "D-Daddy?" Rebecca asked, I then snapped my eyes open and playfully growled while scooping both my children in my arms, causing them both to shriek in surprise, but they then burst into laughter.

Elsa, Anna, and Valka joined in on the fun as well and what ensued was the most ferocious snowball I've ever had in my life.

We were nearly defeated since Elsa kept providing herself with snowballs, she would also form boulder-sized snowballs, causing us to quickly take cover or risk being engulfed in snow. The people passing by the palace smiled warmly at the sight of our family having fun and were pleased to see us taking a well deserved day off, the children of Arendelle asked if they could join in on the fun as well, many of which were Rebecca and Gideon's friends, and so the streets of Arendelle became a battlefield of laughter, joy, and incoming snowballs.

After four hours of snowball fights, we worked up quite an appetite and decided to have a family picnic with the dragons. Toothless was all too happy to go flying, as I strapped my saddle on Toothless's back, Elsa and Anna too began strapping their saddles on Luna and Jitters. Once we were airborne, we flew outside of Arendelle towards a field of grass that was bathed in the sun, a perfect spot to have their picnic.

Dismounting their dragons, Valka and I began offloading supplies, Elsa and Anna placed a large blanket on the grass, Rebecca and Gideon then flopped down on the blanket and sighed happily as the warm sunlight warmed them up. With winter right around the corner, we'd take the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors before it became too unbearable. We enjoyed a divine lunch and had numerous conversations that were humorous, insightful, and beneficial to our survival. After digesting our picnic meal, we then took a long yet comfortable flight around Arendelle and enjoyed the time they had together as a family reunited once more. As nightfall finally fell on Arendelle, the family made their way back to the palace and took a warm bath, and gathered to play charades as the final activity of the day. They were in their nightclothes and gathered together the living room and next to the fireplace that provided warmth in the room.

Currently, Valka was performing the topic she pulled out of the basket that was filled with folded slips of paper and each one of them had to be performed without giving it away with words. My mother made faces and gestures while the rest of the family tried to identify what Valka was performing, eventually, time ran out and she revealed that she was impersonating a villain.

"Oh!"

"How did I not get that?"

Both Rebecca and Gideon murmured to themselves, causing me to chuckle lightlty, for children their age, they were very intelligent, but today has been very tiring and soon we'd have to turn in for the night. But both Rebecca and Gideon made very impressive impersonations of a wolf and deer, causing us to applaud them for their impressive performance.

I went next, doing my best impression of a lion, an exotic beast that resides in the plains of Africa. Elsa, Anna, and Valka just giggled at my attempt to impersonate the beast, while Rebecca and Gideon both guessed what I was impersonating as in no time at all.

Then came Elsa's turn and unlike the very first time we played this, which didn't go too well for Elsa, she now performed flawlessly, creating shapes that confused all of us but Anna, she knew Elsa well and guessed them correctly, no matter what strange geometric pattern Elsa made with her enhanced icy magic.

And lastly, it was Anna's turn.

Stepping up with the note in her hand, she watched as all the eyes were on her now. Sure, she didn't have magic powers or the ability to reshape her body, but she knew that everyone was clearly underestimating her. She then opened the note, reading to herself what it said.

Anna practically scoffed lightly, piquing my curiosity. Whatever it is that she's going to impersoante, it's something she's very familar with.

She then leaned over and did the biggest, widest smile in the entire world, hoping it would be obvious to everyone.

"Uh... what's that supposed to be Mom?" Rebecca wondered.

"Is it... happy? Like being happy?" Gideon suggested.

"No, it can't be that," I remarked, knowing full well that I could read my wife very well, so if anyone in the room had the faintest suggestion of what impression Anna was doing, it would be me. I tried to think.. and nothing came up. "Uhhh... Anna, could you maybe give us a clue?"

Anna rolled her eyes. "Come on, is it that hard? Elsa, please tell me you know what I'm doing?"

"Don't look at me," Elsa giggled, "I'm just as puzzled as the rest of them."

Anna groaned in disbelief, she then tried to make it a bit more obvious. She held out her arms in a star-shaped pattern, wigging them a little bit. She just hoped someone in this crazy family of ours would be able to get it now.

"Oooh! Is it a star?" Gideon suggested. "Or maybe snow angel?"

"Getting warmer with that first one my young prince!" Anna eased.

Then Elsa caught on. The star pattern, Anna's warm, loving smile. It was all making sense now and Elsa felt a little stupid for not realizing it sooner.

"Is it the sun?" She suggested. "Or maybe... sunshine?"

"Yes!" Anna squealed. "And the winner is Elsa!"

"Ohhhhh!" I realized while facepalming myself. "I get it... because she is indeed a ray of sunshine to all of us." I smiled at Anna. "Well played feisty pants."

"Thank you, my dear," Anna said gratefully, taking a bow, "I'm surprised you didn't get it sooner either." I rubbed the back of my neck and yawned, causing Anna to giggle. "Someone is sleepy," She stated, "it has been a tiring day though." She stated.

"Tiring, but fun," Elsa said while getting up from the couch, "it's been too long since we've had time together like this." Valka hummed in agreement as she too rose from the couch and muffled her yawn with her hand, she then turned to Rebecca and Gideon. "Alright to two, let's get you both into bed," Valka then ruffled their hair in a playful manner, causing both of them to giggle, "say goodnight to your parents." We then kissed and hugged Rebecca and Gideon goodnight as Valka led them upstairs to their room.

I sighed while stretching out and smiled at Elsa and Anna as they approached me and wrapped their arms around my torso, causing me to hum happily and return their loving embrace. "I love you both, so much," I murmured out, "you complete me." They tighten their embrace and nuzzle their faces into my chest as they too mumur words of love to me. Elsa suddenly pulled away from the embrace as she looked out towards a nearby window, she then narrowed her eyes and she then spoke up. "Did you guys hear that?"

Anna and I share a confused look. "Uh, no," I said, "what did you hear?" Closing her eyes, Elsa inhaled sharply and exhaled slowly. "It sounded like... mother," Anna then made her way to Elsa and raised her eyebrows in question. "Excuse me, but did you just say that you heard our dead mother?" Elsa nodded in confirmation as she once more looked out towards the window, her eyes full of confusion and wonder. "I-I don't know what it means," Elsa said quietly, "I... I don't know."

"We'll figure this mystery out later my dear, I promise," I murmured into Elsa's ear, "right now we need to get some sleep, after today." Elsa nodded and pecked my lips, she turned to Anna and pecked her lips too, we then made our way towards our room, locked the door, stripped out of our night clothes, started a fire in our fireplace to keep the cold at bay, and then spooned each other. We all sighed happily as we pressed our naked skin together, we exchanged final kisses and sentiments of love for the night before we fell asleep in each other's arms.
