Triston was stood at the bus stop, hands deep in his pockets, ear phones in, blasting away an old Adam Ant classic.

There was a boy stood next to him on the left around his own age (fifteen), and an elderly woman to his right. The bus stop was crusty and derelict, but it didn't bother Triston. He was getting the bus to see his boyfriend Maximus, and although the journey itself wasn't particularly enjoyable, he could look forward to what was at the end of the ride.

His music stopped and when he glanced down at his mobile he saw:

'Max Mobile <3'

"Hey babe," he said when he picked up. "Yeah, I'm at the bus stop now. I dunno- it'll probably be late. Yeah. I'll see you in a few, Max. Tarrah. Bye. Bye."

Triston hung up and paused in putting in his ear buds; the boy next to him stared at him, his eyes narrowing. Triston frowned.

"Can I... help you?" He asked uncertainly.

"Are you gay or something, mate?" He asked, sounding inexplicably suspicious.

Triston considered him. Then he said, with his head cocked to one side,

"I'd say I'm always bi-curious, and sometimes bi-furious. Why?"

The boy blinked, seemingly taken aback.

"No- no reason," he muttered, turning away from him.

Triston smiled benignly at his back, then went back to his phone.
