After Avni went away with Riya.. Neil and Abeer was standing there only when DD comes there...

DD : sir..

Neil : DD stop calling me sir here.. we are not in the office..

DD : yes sir.. but it's about office work only..

DD show him something in laptop which he was carrying..

Neil : what.. how's it even possible. Everything was okay till yesterday... he said running his fingers in his hair..

He asked worriedly..

Neil : don't know.. wait let me call kunj he was in London only.. And he called kunj.. and tell him the matter..

Kunj : i don't know exactly but the Anderson got some project.. and they were celebrating last night...

Neil : I knew it.. it has to be something with that moron Anderson.. shit... why i didn't thought about it earlier.. he sighs.. and release a breath..

Neil : Nothing Dad just some business work.I have to look after it very soon.

Prakash : okay.. are you planning to leave early..

Neil : i have to Dad.. it's about my business..

Abeer : when you are planning to go back.. he asked this time..

All were sitting applying Mehendi on thier hands.. songs were playing in the background.. some were dancing.. while some were just gossiping...

Meher was sitting at the centre applying Mehendi.. Ashi Avni Sunheri Shanaya all were sitting around her with some elders..

All Boys were hanging out and enjoying except Neil... he was still worried about his work... Avni notice his behaviour.. he didn't even tease her or say anything to annoy her.. neither he was with boys.. he was standing alone in a corner typing something on his phone frustratedly...

Meher : Mom.. what happen to Bhai..

Shweta : kuch nahi.. kyu??

Meher : no something surely happen he is tensed..

Bebe : arrey.. tu chod use.. uska business hi use tensed rakhta hai.. tu enjoy kar..

Avnj was hearing all this.. she wanted to know what happen to him.. he's just busy with his phone for about an hour now... she decide to talk to him...

Neil was ralking to someone on the phone when Avni comes there..

Avni : Neil..she said from behind him..
He turn a little and show her idex finger indicating to give him a minute..

She Silently stood there for few minutes.. tapping her foot on the ground.. finally he finish his call.. she rolled her eyes..

Neil : yeah Avni.. tumhe kuch baat karni thi..

Avni : haa wo 6 minute pehle karni thi..

Neil : hein.!!
She huffs and said..

Avni : nothing.. ye batao k tumhe kya hua hai..

Neil : mujhe kya hoga.. kuch bhi nahi..

Avni : to ye Devdas ki tarah kyun ghum rahe ho..

Neil : Devdas.. tum kya bol rahi ho..?

Avni : you're okay in the afternoon.. then what happen suddenly... you are not even talking to anyone.. just busy with your phone... Meher tumhe kab se dekh rahi hai... she is worried about you...kuch serious baat hai..??.. she said all in one go... He look at her for a moment and then to Meher..

He look at her and Yeah she was looking at him with worried expression.. he pass her reassuring smile.. and turn to Avni..

Neil : nothing serious.. just work..

Avni : okay.. umm... is it about Andersons..
Neil look at him with wide eyes.. how she knows about them.. As if understanding what he was saying she replied...

Avni : i hear Bro talking to kunj bhai about that.. so i guess..He nodded his head..

Avni : is.. is that project more important than Meher's happiness..
He look at him with confused face..

Avni : you are missing your sister wedding function just because of some project.. i know this project was important but is it more than Meher's happiness.. she asked with raised eyes.. Neil was surprised hearing her but he shook his head negatively to answer her question..

Avni : see... it is not.. then stop worrying about it.. you'll manage everything but for now come and join everyone.. and enjoy a little... Meher will be very happy...
Neil gave her a little smile..

Avni : oh.. and one more thing.. Don't let idiots ruin your day.. she said with a smile..

Neil : but how can i ruin my own day..
She hit her forehead slightly and shook her head..

Avni : I'm not confused... and don't you think you're forgetting something.. I don't understand why Babaji made some people sooo ungrateful..

Avni : ha ha.. you and handsome.. my foot.. leave my hand.. she said sternly..

Neil : okay... and pull her close to him and wrap his hand around her waist leaving her hand..

Avni was shocked would be an understatement... her eyes look like it'll be out anytime..

Avni : wh.. wha..what are you do..doing..

Neil : you only told me to leave your hand and i did.. now if you want me to leave you.. say I'm handsome and you'll be free or you don't want to be free..huh!!.. he said with a smirk plastered on his face..

Avni : Ne..Neil.. lea.ve.. me.. she said while looking here and there.. her heartbeat was beating against her chest like it'll come out any moment...

Other side Neil held her close just to see her flushed face.. he love to see her blush.. but having her this close did something to his heart and now he just don't want to leave her... he know that he feels somethings for her for sure..not from today or yesterday.. but from a long time...

Neil : just say that I'm handsome and I'll leave you.. that's it..

Avni : i..i y... She stammers.. this closeness is not helping her.. she look at his eyes and for the first time she notice that how beautiful his eyes.. They both were lost in each other eyes..

"Ahem" " Ahem".. someone coughs from behind making them to break their eyelock..

Avni quickly pull herself away from Neil and look here and there.. Neil turn around to see the person and damn.. there he was.. Abeer standing with an evil smirk playing in his face..

Abeer : what are you both doing here..

Avni : n..nothing Bro..
Abeer look at Neil and raised his eyebrows and gave him a mischievous look..

Neil : what...

Abeer : what..?? He asked same
Neil look at him with narrowed eyes..
Avni quickly went away from there..

Abeer : soo

Neil : Soo..

Abeer : you want to say something..

Neil : like what...

Abeer : anything.. you wanna share..

Neil : no I dont won't to.. and for now I'm going.. and hurriedly went away..

Abeer : ye aise nhi batayega.. pagal... he said to himself and shook his head..

Mehendi function was on full swing.. Meher's Mehendi was complete.. and now all were dancing on some songs which the old ladies were singing..

Meher was sitting while others were dancing... Avni Shanaya Ashi Riya Sunheri all were dancing with soem others Meher's friend and relatives....

While the boys were standing looking at the ladies.. Neil was continuously looking at Avni dacing... Abeer comes silently and stand beside him.. Rohan Vidhyut DD.. All were there too even Prakash was also there... but Neil was Neil.. he was soo busy admiring Avni that he didn't notice Abeer standing beside him..

Abeer : lab kahe na kahe, bolti hai nazar pyaar nahi chupta yarr chupane se..

All hear what he mean as Neil was just zooning out in the mid of the conversation and was looking at the girls dancing.. but they didn't know to whom he was looking except for Abeer and Prakash..

Neil come out of his trance and look at Abeer...

Abeer : Nice song na.. he asked Neil..
Neil growls...

Neil : why are you here..

Abeer : why.. you don't want me here.. I'm hurt.. and place his hand dramatically on his chest.. Neil just shook his head and look ahead..

Soon the function comes to an end and everyone retire to their rooms..

Avni comes out from the kitchen amd at the same time Neil enters.. she didn't notice him and bumped into him.. he quickly held her arms preventing her from falling..

Avni : I'm soo sorry amd look up to see Neil.. ohh you.. then I'm taking my sorry back.. and moved away from him and by doing this her fingers touches his jaw which cause the wet Mehendi from her hand to stick on his jaw..

She quickly took her hands away and chuckles lightly seeing the Mehendi on his jaw..

Neil : are you stalking me.. huh!!..

Avni : i can ask the same Mr.

Neil : ohh i see.. but I'm not the one who got jealous you know..

Avni : arghhh!!.. how many times do i have tell you that I am not jealous.. she said gritting her teeth.. And now if you again mention about it I'll put this on your hair.. She said showing her hands full of Mehendi..

Neil : okay okay Junglee billi.. I won't say that you're not jealous.. and smirks..

Avni : Good.. but then realized what he say.. you...and was about to place her hands in his hair but he quickly dodged back..

Neil : ha haa.. Junglee billi.. you can never win from me..

Avni : argh.!!. Why are you soo irritating..??

Neil : I'm not irritating..I'm handsome...

Avni : you know agar tum business man nahi hote toh kya hote...

Neil : kya..??

Avni : Joker.. joke bade acche crack karte ho..she said..

Neil : whatever.. and roll his eyes..

Avni : ohh shitt... tumhari wajah se me late ho gai..

Neil : tumhara haat nahi pakda hai is baar mene.. jaa sakti ho tum.. A slight blush creep on her face remembering their moment..

Avni : I'm going.. and turn to leave but Neil made her stop by holding the end of her dupatta... he slowly bring it close to his face and wipe away the Mehendi from his jaw...

Avni mouth Opened looking at it while he grin leaving her dupatta..

She muttered something under her breath and gave him a fake glare.. His grin become wider and he wink at her before walking to the kitchen still looking at Avni...
