"Yes! Actually I wanted to invite you for engagement and wedding of my...." Naira said but got cut of by Karan

"Whose? Your and Kartik's?" Karan said happily

"Wow! That is such a great news that your parents accepted this marriage." Kritika said smiling

"But you both are already married na" Karan added

"Karan, their families weren't there na! So maybe they want to keep the wedding again!" Kritika said to Karan

"Shh! Both of you stop! I wish what you both are telling was true, but it's not!" Naira said

"Then who's wedding?"

"My brother's and Kartik's sister's! Bhai is getting married to Keerti di!" Naira said smiling

"Oh wow! Congratulations to you and your family!" KriRan said together

"Thank you! We want you both to come here for the wedding!" Kartik said

"That would be fun! We will try our best to join!" Kritika replied

"But what about Kartik and Naira's cousin's marriage? Is that cancelled?" Karan asked making Kartik glare at him

"Calm down Kartik! I am just asking. It will be good if it is cancelled right?"

"I wish! But it's not! We would stop that wedding somehow. You and Kritika come here tomorrow itself! I will book the tickets." Kartik said

"Okay sure!" They both said and kept the call

Kartik and Naira turned behind and saw Gayu standing there

"Did Gayu di hear everything?" Naira thought

Kartik and Naira shared eye contact and then looked at Gayu

"Maami is calling both of you!" Gayu said. Kartik and Naira sighed in relief

"We are coming! We just came to invite Kritika and Karan. Come let's go inside!" Naira said and went inside

As Kartik was walking, Gayu held his hand and stopped him

"Actually, I wanted to thank you! You planned a special date for us, and gave me so many gifts. Thank you for all that!" Gayu said smiling

"I know we couldn't go! You were busy, but you thought about surprising me, that itself means a lot to me!" She added

"Umm, No problem! Let's go inside now?" Kartik said

"Kartik I want to tell you something!" gayu said but stopped as mishti came

"Gayu di, bff, what are you both doing here? You both can talk later, now let's go please!" Mishti said and took Kartik inside

"You helped me bff thank you!" Kartik said to himself and smiled as he saw Naira

"So will Kritika and Karan come?" Akshara asked

"Yes mamma! Tomorrow they will be here, so that day after they can attend the engagement and then wedding!" Naira said making everyone happy

Sunday

It was the engagement day! Kritika and Karan had arrived the previous day. Both the families got ready and went to the venue

Kartik waited for Naira's car. As Naira got down he was stunned looking at her

"Hayee!" He exclaimed and smiled looking at his wife

Gayu got down from the other side and both of them walked towards Kartik and Mishti

"She looks so beautiful!" Kartik said unknowingly that Mishti was standing next to her

"Ehem ehem! Bff, your would-be wife is coming here!" Mishti said smiling and that's when Kartik realised what he said

"Hello Kartik!" Gayu said smiling and hugged him

"You look really good today!" Gayu complimented and Naira got jealous looking at them

"Thank you! You also do!" He replied

"Gayu di we are already quite late! Let's go inside now!" Naira said raising her voice a bit and took Gayu inside

"What happened to you Naira? Why are you behaving like this with me?" Gayu asked

"Umm I am sorry di! I was just a little stressed up!" Naira answered

"Naira, Gayu, you both look pretty!" Kritika came towards them

"Thank you! Where is Karan?" Naira asked

"He is with Kartik! By the way, Akshara aunty told me to call you both! Why were you late?" Kritika asked

"Actually we were still getting ready and the others had to leave, and then it started raining, so we got late!" Naira said

"Oh okay"

"Naira, Gayu, Kartik, Mishti, everyone come here! The engagement ceremony will start now!" Akshara called them

They all went towards the stage where Naksh and Keerti were sitting! They both exchanged their rings.

Gayu looked at them and smiled, thinking about her and Kartik! The same was with Naira. She remembered how she was engaged to Kartik.

"Di, you are dreaming about your and Jiju's engagement right?" Mishti teased Gayu

"Nothing like that!" Gayu said as she blushed slightly

"It will be soon Gayu di! Agar aap kahein toh abhi karwade?" Mishti said laughing

"Mishti! Let's go to the stage to congratulate Naksh bhai!" Gayu said changing the topic

Naira didn't like everything that was going on, till then she got a call

"Hello! Who is this?" She asked

"Your mendak, your husband!" Kartik said smiling

"Kartik!" Naira smiled as she heard his voice

"Come on the terrace fast!" Kartik said

"What if someone sees?"

"No one will! You just come!" Kartik said and Naira went upstairs

"Kartik! Kartik! Where are you?" She called out as she looked around searching for him

Kartik came and hugged her from behind

"Jaan, you look so beautiful today!" Kartik whispered in her ears, and kissed her cheek

"Kartik!" Naira turned and hugged him

"Jaan I know you are really worried about everything that is happening! But it's my promise to you, that I will never leave you, and will never marry anyone else!" Kartik said as he broke the hug

"I love you Kartik!" Naira smiled and kissed his cheek

"Hayee meri jaan, I love you too! By the way, you look so pretty today! Mann karta hai ki bhaga kar le jaun!" Kartik said smiling

"Bhaga kar kahan jaoge?" Naira asked folding her arms

"Kahin dur! Jahaan sirf main aur tum!" Kartik said pulling her closer

"Accha? And if our families see us here together now, they will only send us out of our home! So before they come, let's go inside." Naira said laughing and both of them went down
