Adrien woke up the next morning with his two children in his arms. He smiled and hugged them and kissed their foreheads before carefully getting out of bed and taking care of Lucas. Emit and Scarlett woke up due to his movement and looked around the room. "Daddy, where are we?" Scarlett yawned then her eyes grew big when they landed on the TV.

"We're in my old room Sweetheart." Adrien smiled at her and kissed the top of her head.

"Why're we here and not at home?" Emit rubbed his eyes and looked at Adriens giant bookshelf.

"Because mom wanted some time apart." Adrien smiled at his children and saw what they were looking at. "Go nuts." He chuckled as Scarlett ran to the TV and turned it on and Emit ran up to the small library and started reading. It found it funny how different the two were.

Amelia walked in a few minutes later, Gabriel behind her. "Morning Adrien." Gabriel looked him up and down. Adrien was a mess. His hair was everywhere and his clothes were messy but the boy was ripped. His muscles outlines on his clothes. "Would you like to explain why you are here?"

"Marinette wanted some time apart after her fashion line fiasco so I thought I would bring them here. I hope you don't mind." Adrien nervously laughed as he put Lucas down and he walked around the room and sat next to Scarlett on the couch.

"We don't, right Gabriel." Amelia glared at him and Gabriel nodded.

Gabriel looked up to see Emit reading and saw Scarlett watching TV. "Your kids, they're very different."

"Yeah and twice the hassle. They have very little in common so it's hard finding something they'll agree on." Adrien chuckled and Lucas started to giggle with him and walked over to his father. Adrien picked him up and Lucas sat on his hip. "And this one is more passive then both of them."

"Daddy, what does passive mean?" Scarlett asked.

"Easy to push around." Adrien answered as best as he could.

"Oh, am I passive?" She tilted her head.

"No. You're more aggressive."

"Agrestive." Emit corrected him with a pun.

"That's my son." Adrien chuckled and looked at his parents who were shacking their heads. "What?"

"Why did you teach your children puns?" Amelia pinched the bridge of her nose.

"I didn't. They just come and go." Adrien shrugged and smiled at them. "You hungry guys?" The two children nodded.

"Can we have pancakes?" Emit asked as he put the book down and walked down to his father.

"Pancakes coming up." Adrien walked to the kitchen and made the two pancakes. They sat at the big table and ate. When they finished they walked up to Adriens room and Emit looked at his dad. "What is it Emit?"

"Don't I have school today?"

"It's Saturday Emit. Neither of you have school until Monday." Adrien chuckled and Emit smiled and kept reading on the bed.

"Whatcha readin' Emit?" Scarlett landed next to him and Emit growled.

"Why would you care?" Emit kept reading.

"Nothing good on TV." She smiled and Emit rolled his eyes and kept reading. "What're you reading?"

"Fairy tales."

"Can you read me some? Please?" She put her head on his stomach and Emit sighed.

"Fine."

"Yay!" Scarlett smiled and Emit read them. Adrien smiled and sat next to his children. Lucas walked over to them and put his head on Scarlett's stomach. "Why don't you read us one daddy?"

"Okay." Adrien sighed and Emit gave him the book and put his head on Adriens legs as he read. "Once upon a time lived a princess." Adrien started and Scarlett sighed. "Problem Sea?"

"Why are girls always in danger? Why not a boy?" Scarlett asked.

"Because girls are weaker." Emit smirked.

"We are not!" Scarlett growled.

"Are too!"

"Are not!"

"Both of you stop it. It's just how it's always been." Adrien looked at his daughter.

"Can you tell a different story? Where the boy is in trouble?" Scarlett begged him.

"Uh sure." Adrien closed the book and all three children looked at their father as he told the story. Adrien told the story and all three kids were smiling by the end. "And the maid, Haley and Prince Quince lived happily ever after."

All three children cheered and Adrien chuckled. "Adrien." He turned his head to the door and saw Amelia in the doorway. "Someone's here to see you."

"Who?" Adrien sat up and walked to his mother.

She bent over to his ear. "Marinette." She whispered and Adrien sighed and nodded.

"Kids, stay here." They nodded and Adrien walked to the living room where Marinette was sitting. He walked in and crossed his arms while Marinette stood up.

"Adrien." She walked over to him with her arms open and he took a step to the side.

"Why do you think I would want to hug you?" He glared at her.

"Adrien last night, I know I messed up but-" Adrien cut her off.

"More like blew up. You said you wanted to be alone so that's what I'm doing. We'll be back in a few days." He turned his back to face her.

"Adrien I'm sorry." Marinette whispered and Adrien kept his back turned. "I know what I said was out of line so please, come back."

"I think you need to be alone for a couple of days." Marinette turned him around and he looked at the woman.

"I need to stop working for a couple of days. Please come back. I promise I'll change." She took his hands in his and he looked at the smaller woman in front of him. He saw the most, sincere look in her eyes and sadness in her smile. "Please." He didn't answer. She let go of his hands and sighed. She walked away from him and to the door.

"Will you help me get there stuff." Her face light up and she hugged Adrien and he hugged her back.

"I'm so sorry." She buried her face in his chest and Adrien sighed and hugged her tighter.

"I know." He rubbed her back and kissed the top of her head. "I love you."

"I love you too." Marinette looked up and Adrien lightly pecked her lips. "L-let's go get the kids."

"Yeah." Adrien smiled and they walked up to his room and got their things. Marinette picked up Lucas and Emit grabbed his bag while Scarlett grabbed hers. Adrien took his bag and Lucas's and they left the mansion and went to the house. Scarlett and Emit hugged their mother and Marinette smiled.

"We missed you Mom!" Emit dug his head onto her stomach and she laughed.

"I missed you too sweeties." She hugged them back and they smiled. Marinette kissed her children on the top of their heads.

"Don't leave us again." Scarlett begged and Marinette nodded.

"I won't." Marinette smiled at them and Adrien smiled back at her.
