I yelled but no one was there on the deck. Not a single one was on the deck. I sighed and climbed to the deck on the ladder before I slipped and fell. Stupid clumsiness. But instead of falling on to the ground vines stopped me from going too far. After I was placed on the ground the vines quickly retreated. I then quickly looked around for the lady. There she stood right beside me.
"Please do be careful. You fell asleep while you walked down that ladder for like 5 times." she said.
I then quickly wiped the saliva that was on my face. I quickly moved my head to the other side to hide my blush. She then placed a plate of something warm and something else.
"It's a meat dish. Beef stew. Seasoned with a bit of lavender," she smiled.

I then picked up the dish and started to eat it. It was a great taste. She was looking at me eat it. A little creepy.
"It's good." I replied as she gave a sigh of relief.
"Good thing I was waiting for 4 hours for this," she sighed.
I spewed it anime style and then looked at her in disbelief.
"You were waiting for me for 4 hours for me to come down?" I asked.

She just gave a nod.
"I'm the mother of this ship after all," she answered.
I then continued to eat normally and when I finished I placed the bowl beside me.
"Gochisousama," I greeted.
She then smiled and took my plate. She then walked to probably for the kitchen I suppose. Then stopped halfway there.
"Aren't you going to go after me?" she asked.
I then looked beside me and looked at the dagger I think I dropped when I got kicked.
"Nah," was my only reply as I headed towards the Whitebeard's door.
She only gave a chuckle as I went to leave. I was at the door with a big axe that I found.

Ace tried his best to smash the Axe on top of the Whitebeards head but he WAS wide awake. Ace was blown out of the door.  The black haired lady saw this and raised his hand to grab the flaming cowboy with her vines. By the time he was rescued he was sleeping. The black haired lady laughed. That seems to cause the little cowboy to wake up.
"Dammit," he muttered as he rubbed his head.
"Yet you still go after Whitebeard." the girl said as she cleaned the blood that was on his arms.
"Yeah."

After a little while of an awkward silence, Ace spoke.
"So, I'm Protogas D. Ace. What's your name?" Ace asked.
"I don't remember my name really but all I remember is that it was some sort of animal. People here call me Ka-san though. If you don't want to call me Ka-san just call me with a name you choose." she replied.
"How about Ann?"
"Okie dokie,"

She then stood up but then fell again. Clutching her head. She was groaning.
"Hey, ya okay Ann." Ace yelled as he went to her side.
Marco was the first to come.
"What happened-yoi?" he asked.
"She suddenly fainted when I named her Ann." Ace quickly replied.
Whitebeards eyes widened as he opened the door to go on the deck.

"Is that true?" Whitebeard asked as he took a step closer.
Ace quickly nodded.
"Why did you name her Ann?" Whitebeard asked.
Ace gulped. Garp told him once before that if he was a girl he would have been named as Ann. That's why that name came up.

"Nothing of your business," Ace growled as quickly went back to Ann.
A smirk appeared on Whitebeards lips.
'Gararara, I see. Ace and Ka-san has a connection with him.' he thought.

Vines around her suddenly went to comfort her even through the crowd. It looked as if it was worried. The vines made a seat to place Ann in a comfortable position. After a while, Ann stopped and started to breath more properly.

"Why don't you name it with my lucky card, Kin-chan. Name it with this like this card." Ann said as she panted.
"What are you saying-yoi?" Marco asked.

"I don't know. But I'm talking about names. I was talking to someone. Someone under a sakura tree. Then i saw another scene. I was on this platform. Getting executed."
Ann continued blabbering until Ace pocked at Marco.
"Does this happen a lot?" Ace asked.
"This happens once in a while-yoi." Marco answered, "She blabbers about her past. You really have no connections-yoi?"

Ace just shook his head.
'Name it with my lucky card? Spade? Heart? Diamond? Ace? Wait... Mum?" Ace thought.

Ann then stood up and walked out the crowd.

"Please forget me for a moment. I need to right stuff in my journal." Ann said.

She slowly walked to her office and closed the door. The other commanders that were awake then walked back into the rooms. Marco was the only one that stayed with Ace.

"Ace, you really don't have a connection-yoi?" Marco asked.
Ace just shook his head. Despite the weird thought he had. It was bugging him but he forced himself to forget it. After a while of silence, Ace asked Marco a question.
"Why do you call her Ka-san?," Ace asked while dazing at stars that now decorated the sky, "She isn't like a mother of yours by blood, right?"

Marco raised an eyebrow but still answered.
"We call her Ka-san for many reasons. One of them being she's the mother of nature. Second being she is like a mother. She was really strict on manners at first when she became a 'member' but then gradually she treated us as if we were kids." Marco answered.

Ace only hummed in response. After a while, a little snore was heard in Ann's office so he walked over and took a peek inside. The room was filled with plants and books. It was like a fantasy world. The vines didn't seem to care about Ace walking in the room. Ace then picked up the book that Ann was righting and started to read. On every page, there was words and dates. The oldest was about 15 years ago or something. The main words that popped up frequently were these words;
- Dragon
- Roger
- Rouge
- D
- Straw Hat

Ace was about to go out the room but a hand gripped Ace's wrist.
"Stay, I want you to stay beside me," Ann said in a sleepy voice, "Just please till I feel satisfied."
Ace nodded and instantly fell asleep on the spot. Before he could hit the floor though, the vines that were around him swiftly put him to bed. Ann only smiled before falling asleep on the bed again with saliva dripping from the tip of her mouth.

Meanwhile, Marco and Thatch were looking through the crack of the door.
"Is it only me? I actually ship those two." Thatch said with a grin.
"Maybe, but Ka-san's age is like double the age of Ace right?" Marco asked.

"Who cares, love is a hurricane."
They whispered as they tried to open the door more. Until something started to glow red.
"Who said you could peep at me?" a voice said.

A vine then suddenly slapped them in the forehead.
"I'm SORRY!" they said before running away.
