LOOKS • red scales with darker red under scales and underwings. She has scorch marks on her scales and wing, and she was born with only one wing.

Ah, one wing. This is going to be interesting, I can tell. I really want to know how she got those scorch marks.

POWERS • she can breathe fire.... and that's it I guess

BACKSTORY • okay.... this is probably the most cringeworthy part: When the queen found out about Crimson's disability, she was sentenced to death. Her parents scurried out of the SkyWing kingdom, Crimson's father dying on the way. Luckily, her mother survived and found a hiding spot where Crimson grew up, safe from the queen's claws. When Crimson finally reached adulthood, the previous queen was killed and replaced. Crimson's mother stopped being so protective over her daughter, and let her out of the cave (where she was hiding) every now and then. One day when Crimson was out hunting, the new queen of SkyWings found her. The queen was nice and accepted Crimson into the tribe where she made friends and did what she could as a flightless SkyWing.

I don't see how that was cringeworthy. Well, maybe the part with her dad dying on the way. But if you think about it, you shouldn't just make it through an entire kingdom that's out to get you unscathed. So it's fine. I love this backstory, it's a nice break from some of the standard ones that I read sometimes in others OC books (*cough* or that I myself make *cough*). Maybe because the queen accepted her so quickly? I do not know.

LIKES • Fire/breathing fire, battling, hanging out with her friends,

Cool, cool. Ooh, how does she battle with only one wing? Aren't there also aerial battles sometimes too?

DISLIKES • When others make fun of her because of her lack of flight, when her friends ditch her in the sky, IceWings

Love it.

So this was Ray again, and I love Crimson. A lot. I'm not even just saying this, I was thinking a one winged dragon would just be...boring. But it makes sense, the different part like the likes and dislikes. Also a mean queen wanting to get rid of the 'useless' dragonet. I give an A(+)~!
