Madeline Saltzman always wondered what would happened if that night never happened.

The night when she was 13 years old, and she secretly snuck out after being asked of Klaus Mikaelson to siphon the Hollow into him, and saw Hope Mikaelson his daughter turn for the first time.

She still remembered the smell of the tree she hid behind as she saw the young Mikaelson's bones snap to reform her wolf ones.

And after that, she recalled running from Hope as she ran through the woods, and how Hope almost killed her before she recognized Madeline, only briefing sniffing her neck before running of again.

Madeline would never forget that night, being that close to the girl she had admirer for so long, the girl who's family had always been known for being monsters.

But Madeline had been use to monsters.. she was one herself.

She wish that day had never happened, hell she still got nightmares about it, the day her father walked in on his four year old daughter who was watching TV by herself covered in blood holding a small utility knife with her eyes being competently drained of any emotions.

Like she didn't feel any pain for whoever she had injured or killed that night, to this day she still doesn't know and doesn't want to.

Her sisters had snuck to see what had happened after their mother told them they would be staying over at their Aunt's Bonnie for a night while they dealt with the accident.

She remembered making eye contact with her sisters watching them leave, as she sat down on her Disney Princess Chair.

After a much needed visit to a doctor, they had diagnosed her with sociopath behavior, she could recall her mom almost breaking into tears and her father's face drop.

With medicine from the doctors, her sociopath behavior got under control, but that didn't mean she didn't feel the darkness.

Her's worse than her older sisters, she had her panic attacks and her breakdowns but that didn't mean anything.

Just smile, make sure you're uniform is neat and nobody would see the ugly side of you.

Fake it to you make it.

You think somebody who had sociopath behavior could never find love, but she did, remember Hope ?

Hope was a outcast herself, most people stayed away from her, because of her family, the Mikaelsons the oldest and deadliest family of vampires, Hope did her best to stay away from everyone, but not from Madeline.

I mean even Lizzie and Josie and her didn't get along, she still would admirer Madeline and always notice when she was wasn't doing the best mentally, but she was just looking out for Madeline as a friend ?

Right

I mean it has nothing to do with the crush she had on her.

Feelings grew into something more, and soon so did they, they dated in secret for a couple of months before Hope found the need to end everything off with Madeline giving her reasons that Madeline still didn't understand in the present.

So Madeline did her best to avoid Hope, staying away from her competently, just trying to live her life AWAY FROM HOPE MIKALESON.

But all that comes crashing down when a boy from Hope's past name Landon Kirby infuriates the Salvatore Boarding School and steals a artifact that leads to a chain of unwanted events such as monsters invading the school, both Madeline and Hope realize that avoiding each other was going to be inevitable

And that the walls that they had both put up were going to come crumbling down, no matter how hard Madeline tried to keep them up.

But Hope wasn't going to let Madeline get away that easy, especially when their fated in the stars.
