The lights shined down brightly on the stage as a young 18 year old stood there, her smile shined brightly as she looked out onto the crowd in front of her before she began talking.

"My name is Emily Daniels-Hunter. I've spent most of my life afraid, but these last few years, I've become braver and stronger. I'm no longer the scared little girl I used to be. I'm stronger, I'm better than I was before. Today is the day that the rest of our lives change, for better or for worse. Gosh, that definitly sounded like something that would be said at a wedding, not a graduation. I'm not valadictorian but I was asked by Principle Smith to give a speech, guessing because of my writings in the newspaper or because my boyfriend is valadictorian and no one wanted to listen to him ramble for three hours." Emily laughs, obviously joking as they all knew Farkle gave his speech already. "I agreed to give a speech because I know what it's like to be in a terrible spot and rise to the top and come out stronger. I'm saying this because I know that even if you don't show it; you're all scared at what's to come. Hell, so am I." Emily says, ignoring the 'language' yell coming from Cory Matthews. She smiles lightly chuckling as she continues. "We're all scared for what's to come. For what we're all going to do next after we walk out of this building, after we throw our caps in the air and cheer because we're finally done with High School. But we all need to remember, that no matter what, it'll be okay. That no matter what happens next, we aren't going to fail, and if we do, we try again and again, and again." Emily looks down at the students who are graduating with her, seeing her friends, boyfriend and cousin, she smiles at them before looking back at the large crowd of friends, school falculty and family. 

"We try again with the ones we love next to us. A lot of us are separating from our friends and family next year, but that's okay because they'll always be there. Our family and friends will always be there. And all I know about what's to come next is that we'll thrive no matter what we choose to do with our lives; whether it be becoming a scientist, writer, bunny farmer, ranger, artist. No matter what you choose to do with your lives, no matter where you go, you'll be okay. You'll live your lives and you will live them fully and thrive. This is the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter of our lives. A new chapter that will be harder than the last but we'll get through it, no matter what. This new chapter will be the best yet, because it's the beginning of our new lives and I know that in our new lives we'll be okay. All of us. So, I'm gonna stop rambling and repeating myself and wrap up this damn speech." She laughs lightly, knowing that she needed to stop her damn rambling. 

"All I'm going to say is, I love you all and I know that each and everyone of you will be good. And that no matter what the world throws at us, we'll all be strong enough to take it. I've met the world, faced it and I know that you all will be just fine as we enter this new era. Because it is our era and our time to meet this great big world. Some of us already have seen the world, and some of us are now truly entering it. And I'm proud of every single one of us. We're all ready, even if it doesn't feel like it. We're ready to take it on and we will do it. Now throw those damn caps in the air and cheer because we're finally done with high school and it feels fucking amazing!" She exclaims, throwing her hat in the air as the rest follow after her, throwing them into the air. "Whoo!" She yells happily as she looks at all the faces in the crowd, smiling. She moves off the podium and over to the other students, getting several hugs and high fives as she reaches her group of friends, Maya and Lucas hug her first before pulling away as Riley, Smackle and Zay then hug her, before she gets individual hugs from Austin and Cassidy.

Farkle looks over at her, hugging her tightly. "You did amazing, Em." He says to her. "I'm so proud of you."

Emily looks at him, pulling slightly away and kisses him. "I proud of you too." She spoke. She then looks at all her friends; Maya and Lucas who kissed each other lightly, Riley who smiled brightly at her decorated graduation cap and her girlfriend, Macy, who held her own graduation hat before putting it on Riley's head, the two girls laughing lightly, Smackle and Austin who hugged tightly to Cassidy and Zay who smiled at each other. "I'm proud of all of us." She says.

Riley looks around at all her friends. "Okay, group hug!" She yells before pulling them all into a hug. Emily laughs lightly, happy and content.

Emily was happy because she knew that they were all going to be okay. Lucas and Maya were going to Texas next fall, Lucas going to a veternarian school there and Maya going to art school. Riley and Macy were going to London and going to be exploring the world there a little more. Zay and Cassidy were going to be going to California for Cassidy's film she got casted in. Austin and Smackle both were headed to Harvard. Farkle to Yale and as for Emily, she was going to Yale as well, as well as interning for a large newspaper down there. They were all going to be okay and they were all going to live their lives to the fullest they can and that's all Emily could ask for. For all them to be happy and content with their next steps in life. And they all were. They were all going to be continuing to meet the world and fully embrass it. And that's all anyone can ask for. 

Emily's world was finally coming together and she was finally happy with her life, she's left the scared little girl she once was in the past as she now has become a strong, independant woman that isn't scared of much anymore. She is happy with who she's become and who she is now as she heads for her new beginning in the big world that was out there. And she was no longer scared of it, she embrassed it with her arms wide open.

this is the end. i'm sorry but i'm happy with the way i have ended it, yes, it's rushed a bit but I needed to close this chapter. i needed to end Emily's story on a positive note. maybe i'll pick it up again, but for right now, this is the end. i'm sorry, i know many of you will not be happy with it, but honestly, my mental health isn't as strong as it was before. it's not going to great for me right now and with the constant questions of when i'm going to update or when the next chapter is coming out or the questions of why i haven't updated are definitley taking a toll on me. i have a lot going on right now and i needed to end this story on a positive note, and if any of you have questions, please comment and ask them, i'll be sure to answer them. thank you all to who read emily's story and loved this story and her character as much as i did. it hurts to do this but i know this is what i need to do. so thank you all to who stuck with this story, and loved it as much as i did. you guys are so amazing and i love you all. thanks for reading. bye. :)
