From the time of the Ball, a few short weeks having past, up to now and before any of the fun stuff can royally begin, as far as Darkness is concerned anyhow, tasks would be put forth for his daughters. The tasks are to get his rogue daughter on track, to get her to play with the home team so to speak. Rogue daughter could possibly be made plural in being rogue daughters with Nancy Ellis apparently wanting to side with Majella. For everything there is a reason ...

Ruby had the first crack via her brother, Darkness making use or attempting to make use of ways to aid Majella with seeing the Light. Five weeks after the events of the Ball, Lonnie Turner would be given a task to perform, a task which would bring in an outsider with the intent of stunning Majella into submission.

Harmony Richards takes chances on the road and she takes them far too often. Taking them at all is stupidly dangerous and she knows this, but she has to get on top of things one way or another. With a thousand and one things to do, some things just got to wait while she drives. Isn't driving time something wasted or under used?

She must have known that her luck would eventually run out. There would eventually be a coming together with another vehicle and of course you could never know how serious an accident may be until it happens though on the day a collision would come there were other forces at work.

On the first day of September 2018 Harmony's luck did run out though indeed there were existential circumstances at play. Work ... play ... in certain circumstances they can be the exact same thing.

The lights at a crossroads in the direction she was heading changed and changed quickly right in the moment Harmony reached those crossroads and they went from green straight to red. The lights for the crossing road had changed from red to green a moment or two prior so for an instant traffic was free to travel in all directions ensuring the vehicle to be collided with also had momentum as it approached the intersection where the collision occurred.

With her mind as occupied as it was, Harmony had not been in much of a position to react to her circumstances though even if there had been no distraction there would have been very little of which she could do to avoid a collision.

Luckily for Harmony there would be no major damage to herself. Same could not be said for her vehicle. Some bruising, cuts and a slight concussion would see to Harmony spending the night in hospital, her vehicle would not be seen again after this day.

Her partner, Terrence Bolton, came to Harmony's side as soon as he could once he became aware of what had occurred. He stayed with her until she fell asleep late that night before making the decision to head home with the intention of returning in the morning. Before he left for the night, he observed something he would see as slightly odd and no more than that. Harmony, in her sleep, would speak one word and repeat it three times and that one word would be the word 'father ...'

Nothing all so strange in that, many people speak in their sleep but with what would transpire the following morning would make this moment all the more strange and of course Terrence would be back that following morning to witness a very peculiar moment. What Harmony and Terrence indeed could not possibly know was that the lights at that crossroads, the site of Harmony's accident, were changed purposely to bring about a certain moment, the changing of the lights was down to the interference of a certain daughter of Darkness.

Under instruction, Lonnie Turner used her ability to alter a set off traffic lights and the rest was left to fate or to the fate of her father who more than figured that a certain Harmony Richards would be more than a little distracted and a not so accidental accident would occur, and Darkness would need one or two other elements to fall into place for what it is he is setting up.

Samuel Fontaine, upon having been mysteriously healed, had questions. Majella Smith momentarily overtaken by her dark nature, had injured Sammy and injured him severely. This was disturbing in many ways. She would never have a want to inflict such damage and especially not to someone like Sammy though it happened all the same. Anger got the best of her and she came ever so close to ending Sammy's life.

Someone came to Sammy's aid, basically healing him completely and more or less instantly too. A stranger paid the oddest of visits to his hospital bed five days after the Ball, laid her touch on him and left, and in the moments which followed Sammy basically got himself up and ready and made his own exit from the hospital in as healthy a condition as he has ever been in.

Majella had come to visit and stay with Sammy in hospital though she was not present in the moment a miracle happened. Upon a return to the hospital, she became more than a little surprised, and relieved too, to hear of what occurred.

Now Sammy is up and about, and Majella is eager to speak with him. Easier said than done for she has no idea where he moved on to. So, when she would be informed that Sammy had made a return to hospital not a whole lot later, Majella would do all she could do to get to him.

Eleven in the morning on September second and Majella Smith has come ever so close to where she believes Sammy to be, and this is when something grabs a hold of Harmony Richards leading her into a confrontation of sorts with Majella Smith. To get to Sammy Fontaine Majella had to walk right by the ward Harmony so happened to be resting within and when Majella did come close Harmony would react despite the fact she had never previously seen Majella nor could she be aware of anything that may be occurring in Majella's life.

Yeah, Majella came close to Harmony's ward and Harmony got up right away and began to move despite her own injuries. Harmony's partner would be the first to react. 'Whoa, whoa, what are you doing?' he asked of her as she got up and out of bed.

She did not react or respond to him; she just took off out of her room and on down the hall where nurses would be mystified to see her up and out of bed. Any nurse that approached her, Harmony just swiped away with ease, knocking them over as if she had the strength of ten people and not the strength of a lady with minor injuries recovering from an automobile accident. At a complete loss, her partner had no idea of how to react.

With all the commotion too, Majella would stop walking and turn to see what was happening behind her.

'Majella Smith ...' Harmony spoke with a voice not quite her own as if her own voice had been joined by another. '... This is your last chance. Your father wishes for you to join him and your sisters.'

There is a slight pause before Majella speaks. 'The man you speak of is not my father and he never will be ...'

The brief encounter is caught on security camera and even as Harmony got to watch it back some time later, she still found it difficult to believe. She would have no memory of vacating her bed to go out to a hospital hallway to speak with a complete stranger.
