"Let's go princess" you heard JJ yell from the front of your house

"Will you be quiet" you whisper yell as you walk around the side of the house. Looking around and making sure no one was around.

"Why? Don't want your power puff boyfriend finding out you're with a pogue" JJ smirked as you two started walking away from your house.

"He's not my boyfriend, but we both know Rafe isn't a huge fan of you so I don't wanna get caught by him. For your sake"

"Mhmm" He hummed with attitude as you walked past him

You were a kook with a close bond with the Cameron's. You started to hang out with the pogues a lot more ever since Sarah and John B started dating. Rafe wasn't a huge fan of the idea of you and Sarah being around the pogues. But there wasn't much he could do about it.

Rafe was like an older brother to you. You never thought about him in any other way. Rafe on the other hand didn't think of you as a sister but as something more and everyone saw it. He was very protective of you, more than his own sister.

Every time you hung around the pogues it was always at the beach. You loved watching them surf and wanted to learn but was too scared to ask. You had brought up the topic one night with Sarah and she suggested that you ask JJ to teach you. You had chickened out and Sarah ended up asking for you. So here you are walking to the beach with JJ. About to learn how to surf.

As you walked up on the beach you saw two surf boards laying on the sand.

"Ready princess" he said picking up your board and handing it to you

You took a deep breath "As ready as I'll ever be"

With that you two stripped down to your bathing suits. You couldn't help but stare at JJ's body a little.

"Take a picture it'll last longer" JJ said taking you out of your daze and winking at you

You blushed and followed him out to the water. You two paddled yourselves out in the water until you were far enough.

"Alright Y/N, before we can catch a wave you gotta learn how to stand. So what you want to do is stand up slowly and then place one foot here and your other foot here" He says demonstrating on his board beside you

"Looks easy enough" You said as you began to stand up

Your legs started to wobble as you stood up. You caught your balance but just as you moved your feet to copy JJ's stance. You foot slipped and you went flying backwards. Thinking you were about to go underwater you then felt two arms around you. You looked up seeing JJ's face inches away from yours. You two just stayed staring at each other. You could see JJ starting to lean in and then you stopped him, becoming anxious.

"I think I'll try that again" you said stopping JJ from leaning in anymore

"Oh, ugh, yeah" he said as he helped you back on your board

After a while of trying and hundreds of more falls you finally got the stance down. You now had your balance and felt like you had control of your board.

"Oh my goodness! I got it!" you said as you stood on your board without falling

"Great now you can try and do this" JJ said as he paddles himself out further, jumped up on his board and road a wave

You watched in awe as he did everything so gracefully.

"You make it look so easy" you said to JJ as he paddled back to where you were

"It takes time and practice"

The sun was starting to set and you started to get cooled in the water. You two then headed back to shore.

"Thank you for today. It was really fun" You said as you and JJ walked up to your front door

"Oh we're not done yet princess. Same time and place tomorrow?" he asked

You blushed a little and nodded your head. As you reached the door. You and JJ stood staring at each other. It took you back to when you were inches away from each other in the water. JJ's eye flickered between your eyes and lips. He slowly started to lean in. You leaned in closing the gap between you two and connecting your lips together. It wasn't long until you were interrupted.

"Y/N?!" you heard Rafe yell from your backyard

"Shit" you mumbled "I gotta go" you said sadly

"I'll see you tomorrow" JJ reminded you changing your mood a bit

"Right! Same time, same place" you said

With that JJ ran off towards the cut and you walked around to your backyard to see what Rafe wanted.
