Chris and I were sitting on his couch, staring blankly at the envelope that just came from The University of Manchester.

"Will you open it?" Chris said with a bored tone, can't blame him.

"No."

"Fine. Then I will." He said and leaned over to get the envelope.

"NO!" I pulled his arm but obviously my strength wasn't enough. He stood up and ripped it open, then started to read it.

"What is it?" I asked, he said 'shh'

"DONT YOU DARE SHH ME!" He still wasn't listening. I sighed. His face went sad for a moment but he quickly changed his facial expression and looked at me.

"Congratulations!" He said opening his arms.

"OH MY GOD I CANTDVXH DID I REALLY GOT ACCEPTED TO OH MY GODHDVFGHCBFHD I CANT BELIEVE THIS CHRIS I LOVE YOU." I hugged him tightly, he laughed and hugged me back.

"I'm proud of you." He said smiling.

"I-I have to call my mom and phoebe and tom and oh my god I'm so happy!!" I was literally jumping around.

"Go tell your parents, we'll continue later and also, I have classes to teach." He said giving me my coat. I wore it and kissed him on the cheek. I walked out and called Phoebe.

|Chris' P.O.V|

I changed and headed to school, I had two afternoon classes. I walked into the school building, I was happy for Katherine but this didn't changed the fact that she was leaving for good. Yesterday I talked to the principal asking if I could get transferred, he didn't approved and said I still had to work a year at this school. I didn't told Kat, yet.

After the classes past, I sat in the teachers room and had coffee. I was still thinking about Kat.

"Looking thoughtful today,Evans." Said Jeremy.

"Got zoomed out for a second." I said not bothering to look at him.

"Did you heard the news? Katherine Avery got accepted to Manchester." He said with a smirk. Does he know something?

"Yeah I know,good for her." I said trying to sound uninterested.

"What's bothering you Evans? You look upset."

"Stay in your lane Jeremy." I picked my stuff and stormed out,this guy is really pushing my nerves. I checked my phone, there were 2 missed calls from Kat.

"Hey babe, what's up?"

"Not much actually my parents invited you over for celebration, can you come?"

"Will your friends be there?"

"Yeah, don't worry about them, I explained everything they were quite shocked, Tom and Phoebe already knew,Jennifer was pretty surprised and Liam was like 'is that how you passed from history?' Ugh..." We both laughed.

"Well I don't see any reason to not come. What time?"

"At 7:45pm, I'll be waiting."

"See you there,love you."

"Love you too." She said and hung up.

|Katherine's P.O.V|

Chris has just came, he and my dad got into a very deep conversation right after Chris walked in, I'm happy they got along.

"Someone open the door!" My dad yelled from the kitchen, Cory got up but I pushed him.

"I GOT IT!" I said and opened the door.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" Phoebe,Tom,Jennifer and Liam said together. I smiled widely and hugged each of them individually.

"Did your letters came?" My mom said to them.

"Yeah, we all got our letters, this is kind of a celebration for all of us!" Phoebe said cheerfully.

"Omg you guys got letters too?? Why am I just learning this?" I said.

"We thought we'd say it at the same time." Jen said.

"Okayy so?" I said.

"I got into Boston." Phoebe said. We both screamed, I hugged her, Jennifer came too.

"What about you Jen?"

"Well, Liam and I got into Rutgers." Jennifer said looking at Liam.

"You both got into the same university? That's amazing I'm so happy!" Phoebe said and hugged both of them. There was such a positive vibe going around, I couldn't help but smile.

"What about you Tommy?" My mom asked.

"Actually..." He said putting his arm around my shoulder.

"I got accepted to London School of Business." He said looking at me.

"YOU'RE BOTH GOING TO ENGLAND OH MY GOD." Jennifer and Phoebe said at the same time.

"I didn't knew you thought of going to England." I said to Tom.

"You don't seem excited." He said sarcastically.

"Dude how do you expect her to be happy, she's stuck in the same country as you!" Liam punched Tom jokingly, we all laughed. I glanced at Chris, he didn't seemed so happy, I gave him a smile, he smiled back.

We spent the evening drinking beverages, chatting and enjoying each others presence, we were spending maybe our last time as a group but we weren't sad, we actually were spending a really good time together. Chris was sitting with us too but then he got bored and decided to talk with my dad.

I noticed Chris was still a little sad. I decided to talk with him. I got up and went outside, he was sitting on the doorstep stargazing.

"May I join?" I said sitting next to him. He nod and smiled.

"What's wrong?" He looked at me and sigh.

"I have to tell you something."

"I'm listening."

"I can't come with you." He said squeezing my hand. I froze. For some reason I thought he'd come too. I couldn't expect him to drop everything and move to another country. I tried to hide my disappointment. I didn't wanted him to feel even worse.

"It's okay." I faked a smile. It wasn't okay.

"Can we make this work?" I was afraid of this question.

"Do long distance relationships work?" I asked. He didn't answered. I got my answer.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

"Hey hey, don't be sorry, I can't expect you to leave your job,home,friends and come to another country just for me. That'd be extremely selfish, I'm not selfish. You love your job, I can't take that away from you." I said running my fingers through his hair. He kissed my hand. He's making this harder.

"I should go." Wait what does that mean?

"Why?" My voice came out cracked, dammit Katherine don't you dare cry.

"Sometimes you got to be okay with not being okay." He said and kissed me. Like he was kissing me one last time. When he got up to leave, I pulled him back, kissing him again.

"I love you." I said. His eyes got watery. He turned his back and started walking away. I stared at him for a while.

"Kat it's time for our traditional game, come on or you'll have to be in Liams team and you don't want that!!" Jen yelled from inside.

"OFFENSIVE." Liam yelled back.

I got up, I looked back one last time, as if he were there.

He wasn't.

I was listening to"Cabaret" while writing this, might have affected my writing a little bit. Just sayin.
