You sat on your bed, cradling yourself. You took a deep sigh and put your head to your knees. They were everywhere. The monsters wouldn't leave you alone. Wherever you looked, there they were.. two small black monsters with huge teeth and huge red eyes. When you were with someone, you saw them in the corner. When you were alone, they would mock you, insult you and say horrible things and threaten you. All you could do was hide yourself from them.. you wanted to die. They wouldn't go away.. there was nothing you could do to stop them.
"(Y/N)? Are in here?" You heard the robotic ninja call you. You looked up to see if he was there but only saw one of the monsters an inch from your face and you screamed in pure terror for at least 2 seconds. Genji came running into the room with hit Katana unsheathed.
"(Y/n)! What is wrong?" He said.
You just started crying. The monsters were in the corner behind Genji, laughing at you. Genji put his Katana in its sheathe and knelt next to you.
"Talk to me (y/n).. what is bothering you? You can trust me." He asked.
"T..they won't leave me alone. You whimpered.
"Who? Who won't leave you alone?" He tilted his head to one side.
"T..t-the monsters.." you mumbled, you looked around you and saw them both beside you, staring up at you, grinning evilly. You gasped and backed up until you fell of the bed, where Genji caught you. He looked down at you as you cried.
"Where are the monsters? He asked you.
You pointed to the bed and turned away putting your face to Genji's chest. Genji looked at the bed and saw nothing. No monsters were in the room.
"(Y/N)... there are no monsters here.. what are you talking about?" He put you down into a chair in your room. You looked over to the bed at the monsters who still stared at you and genji stood in front of you, blocking your vision of the bed.
"There.. there are monsters Genji.. I n-not lying.." you whined.
"I never said you were lying. It seems whatever monsters you are talking about simply aren't real." He said.
"This is why I didn't tell anyone" you muttered under your breath.
"What?"
"This is why I didn't tell anyone" you repeated. "I knew no one would believe me.. they are real.. I know they are.."
You looked down at your shoes.
"(Y/N).." genji started as he lifted up your chin. "I believe you.. maybe not real wasn't the best wording.. maybe.. in your mind. Because there are no monsters here. At least that I can see." You looked down.
You looked to the side and saw the monsters sitting on the arms of your chairs. You whimpered and curled up in a ball. Genji picked you up pushing your head against his shoulder. He brought you out of your room.
"Lock the door.." you whispered. He locked it. He took you to his room. He lay you down on the bed and cradled you. You pressed your face into his chest and cried.
"Shh.. don't cry. It's ok (y/n)." He purred. Caressing your head
"H..how do I get them to leave me alone. It.. r-ruins me." You cried.
"Shh.... I will take you to Zenyatta tomorrow.. he and I will guide you through this time in your life."
You gripped on to his cool metal body and cried harder.
"T-thank you Genji.." you muttered quietly. "I love you.."
"I love you to, (y/n)." Genji whispered, sending shivers up your spine.
He removed his mask to reveal his scarred face and kissed you. You squirmed in pleasure and moaned.
"Do you know where the monsters are?" He asked you.
"No.. you locking the door might've been pointless. I'm scared Genji." You muttered.
Genji slowly stroked your head and back up and down.
"Don't be. I'll protect you from them. You'll be ok. I promise." He whispered.
You curled up and genji pulled you close. He put his mask back on and you slowly but peacefully fell asleep in his arms to the calming buzzing sound of his body. To your surprise, you couldn't see or feel the monsters anywhere near. You smiled to this and started sleeping.
