TW// Death, Gore

191 didn't like that many survivors of the glitch. Either they reminded her of the man who did this to her, or they simply didn't visit her or come to see her all that often. But there was one man who did. One man who came to say hi out of curiosity one day.

And that man was Caleb Quinn. He had come to visit her after noticing her in her room all alone. He was seemingly concerned for her, looking worried.

"What's a girl like you doing all by her lonesome?" He asked, sitting on the floor across from her.

She plugged into her tablet to reply, as thanks to her lack of vocal cords, she couldn't speak. "I prefer being alone, mister." She replied with a female text to speech engine.

"Well," He began to reply. "I think it wouldn't hurt to have company every once and while, yeah?" He asked.

191 doesn't remember what she said next, but all that she did know was that was the beginning of an interesting bond between the two. He could sympathize with the pain her augments brought her, as his leg brace and FUBAR kneecap brought him pain too. He knew how it felt to be betrayed, as Henry had betrayed him like the scientists had betrayed her. So they quickly bonded.

He also taught her how to engineer. He had shown her various CAD programs, and she used it to help him in designing things. If you looked at the things she would make, you could barely tell someone who was under the age of ten had been the one to make it, she was that good.

But then Henry Bayshore had to ruin things, as he always did. He had found out about the bond between 191 and Caleb, and was determined to use her as a bargaining tool to make Caleb work for him again. What he instead received, was a brutal end when he was lifted up on the bayonet of Caleb's gun and had a spear launched through his skull, exiting on the other end through his mouth.

Caleb looked over at 191, concerned after the adrenaline of killing the man who ruined his life had worn off.

"Are you okay, 191?" He asked. "I'm sorry for doing...that, in front of you." He spoke, uncertain.

"It's okay, Grandpa Caleb- I MEAN-" She tried to cut herself off after that blunder, but Caleb beat her to it.

"...Grandpa Caleb, eh? Heh...I like how that sounds. You can call me that, if you like. But I guess that means I gotta call you something other than 191 now, too. What should that be?"

191 thought for a while, before coming up with her answer. "...Olivia. Olivia Grace is my actual name."

Caleb chuckled. "Funny, how that is. I was thinking if I ever had a daughter, Oliva would be a pretty name."

Oliva did the best imitation of a laugh her augments would allow, before trying to get up off the floor. Caleb, however, took her into his arms. She enjoyed the gesture, even if that did mean she got a bit covered in Henry's blood. Oh well, she could always ask Rosie for a bath later. For now, it was time to go home.

And this time, she would be going home with Grandpa Caleb.
