"I have seen people who are stupid, but you? You surpass them all in that category!" Kritika shouted as she glared at her dumb daughter, the idiot woman had done nothing but create complications for herself and Kritika, she wanted to bash her daughter's head.  Kirti looked at her mother.

"I just wanted to kill Panchaali!" She said stubbornly, her eyes blazing with fire, Kritika swirled around as she faced her daughter, she gritted her teeth as she glared at her daughter, "You fool of a woman! You planned to kill her in the presence of Rajkumar Arjun!" She shouted, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. If she wasn't Kritika's daughter, she would have surely killed her.

"You peanut brained woman! When you know that you don't own a brain why do you try using it?" Snapped Kritika,  "you have messed up my whole plan! I wanted to get something before they get married, but thanks to you they are now already married! Somehow I have stopped them from leaving for now, stating that I want a grand wedding for my daughter, and I have to do something that will stop Panchaali from leaving with her husband after their marriage." Kritika stated, "And what will that be?"  Kirti asked. Kritika smirked, "I just know the perfect way!" Stated Kritika as she looked at her daughter with a smirk on her face, Kirti shuddered as she looked at her mother, this woman really was too evil.

"Paarth are you ready?" Krishn asked as he walked in with a smile on his face, the four pandavas looked up at him. "We are getting the groom ready Vasudev, so obviously it will take sometime." Stated Nakul with a smile as he clipped the neckpiece in his brother's neck, "The wedding is today not tomorrow jyest!" Sehdev teased as he straightened Arjun's angvastr. "Yes bhraatashree if we didn't reach on time and the decided time for his marriage and the wedding got postponed, I am pretty sure Arjun would string up on his Gandiv and shoot us in the far off galaxies." Bheem teased making Arjun roll his eyes as he looked at his brothers.

"Just because I am getting married doesn't mean I have to be teased!" Arjun shot back making everyone laugh, "before the sacrifice the animal is usually kept as happy as possible dear anuj." Yudhisthir teased and everyone bursted out laughing, "Bhraatashree you too?" Arjun whined, "no one can save you today Paarth!"  Krishn teased making his best friend roll his eyes. "Let's get moving,  we are getting late!" Madhav said making everyone nod as they moved towards the mandap.

Arjun looked around the grand decorations that were done, everything looked so beautiful and captivating, his mind however was too busy thinking about her, where was she? How long will it take for her to be here? What was taking her so long?

His heart thudded in his chest as he finally watched as she appeared, his breath hitched and it was like with her every step, his heart was beating too wildly, flood flowed faster through his body as everything around him faded, nothing else mattered as he gazed at her. With her each step his heartbeat increased, she looked heavenly, an outwardly beauty. Everyone around them was stunned in silence seeing her beauty and Arjun was no different, his heart galloped violently in his chest, he couldn't believe that he was marrying her, that she will be completely his. He watched as she covered the distance between herself and him, moving towards him to be forever his, never to be separated.

She stood right in front of him, right there, her eyes looking on the floor, as her soft cheeks turned rosy red, she had a soft smile on her face, he wanted her to look up, he wanted her eyes to meet his, he wanted to see those beautiful eyes of his princess. His breath hitched as her gaze met his, and he felt like the world had stopped revolving on it's axis, like there was nothing more important than her, she who was his soul stood there looking at him, making him forget how to breath. Their eye contact hardly lasted a minute but he felt like centuries has passed with the depth of emotions that she held in those mesmerizing doe shaped eyes.

She moved in front of him as the mantras were being chanted, two garlands of lotuses were brought and presented to them, Panchaali blushed as she wrapped her fingers around the soft, velvety garlands, she picked it up as her heart beat in her chest happiness flowing through her body as she raised her hand and put the garland around his neck, blushing intensely as her gaze for a moment clashed with her husband's who smiled brightly at her, his smile making her heart thud violently in her chest as she looked up at him, he looked so handsome today, he always did, her heart was filled with nervous butterflies, how would their marriage life be like? She often wondered as she looked at him, a beautiful one for sure. With a husband like him, she could never ask for anything more, he was perfect in every way, he completed her in such a way that she couldn't explain.

Panchaali and he were made to sit down as the rites of their wedding began, she tried to keep a straight face, she didn't want to seem like an idiot smiling widely in her wedding, the mantras were being chanted as ahuti were given by the two, sparks ignited making her blush each times their hands touched, wedding, she was marrying him, the man of her dreams, the great warrior prince, she couldn't believe that she was going to be the wife of the great Gandivdhaari Arjun, forever his, by her mind, body and soul, now the society would recognise her as his, what could be more perfect than that, she marrying him? That they become one.

Arjun glanced at her his eyes meeting hers, a solemn expression on his face as he looked at her, she from now on was his in the eyes of the society, but to him she had been his very long ago, the first time he had seen her, he didn't know what good karma he had done to deserve a wife like her, so innocent, so devoted, so loving and so loyal. She was the biggest blessing that the god had given him and he planed to cherish and love this blessing for the rest of his life, he promised himself that he would always put her head of everything else, that as long as he was alive he would be loyal to her.

The chudamani was brought by Kunti as she looked at her son, a smile on her face. Everyone looked at the chudamani curiously it had five stones, representing that Arjun would be making five promises to her. Usually the grooms made only one promise of providing protection to their wives hence all the chudamani's had just one precious stone but hers hand five.

"What are your promises going to be Rajkumar Arjun?" The brahmin asked as he looked at Arjun, "my first promise to her is that I will forever protect her, respect her and try to do my best to keep her happy." His voice rang, "My second promise is that I will never make a decision regarding her life without asking for an opinion of  hers. My third promise is that I will be forever loyal to her and I would never marry another. My fourth promise to her is that she will be my top most priority. My fifth promise is that I will forever be with her, through all her happiness and pain, her sickness and health, my day shall begin with hers and end with her." His voice was filled with confidence as he vowed to her, the people were stunned, Draupadi too was stunned, her heart filled with so much happiness that it dropped down her cheeks in the form of tears.

Arjun caught her tears before it could fall down, he smiled at her as he wiped her tears with his thumb, what she felt was a favour that he did on her, Arjun knew that was his duty, he had done his duty,he was adamant to protect her at every cost, he knew better than anyone what politics in royalties could be like and her innocence could have subjected her to many dilemmas like Arjun's second marriage, so he had uprooted every such possibility from her life, securing her the best way he knew, she was his and he'll be damned before any pain reached her, he will uproot every damn possibility. . .
