Sheltering in place, we all know what it means.
It means staying away from those you love,
Your close friends and the teachers you may never see again.
Sheltering in place, it means not going to a movie on Saturday nights
Or enjoying ice cream outside of a Whiteys.
It means not getting to spend time with your family or play at a park,
It means not getting to swim and have fun in the sun.
Sheltering in place, something we all know to well,
Something that lets us know that isn't over yet.
But someday it will be over,
But that time isn't now.
For now we shelter in place.
