Natasha and Dhawal had arrived in Udaipur for Abhira and Armaan renewal ceremony. Dhawal was quite happy for his friend, Armaan, as he, also, had a lot of struggles in getting his love back in his life. When Armaan had told him his struggles, he was glad that his issues with Natasha were minor.

Natasha was enjoying herself with Armaan's cousins. Armaan's cousins teased Natasha as she was one of them, and she loved it. She adored them.

"Dhawal, I am so happy we came. You have given me a big family. I went from just me and Daama, and now I have you, the Makwana's, and the Podder's. Thank you so much!!"

Dhawal smiled as he kissed her forehead. "Now let's get ready for the Sangeet."

A couple of hours later, Dhawal was angry. Actually, he was seething. It was bad enough that he was protecting Natasha away from males vultures that were looking at Natasha like a piece of meat to be devoured, but these aunties were also checking out Natasha. He didn't think he had to protect Natasha from the aunties. Natasha was looking beautiful at the Sangeet of Armaan and Abhira.

Shweta Patel, one of the aunties, asked Natasha about herself.

"Beta, how many siblings do you have?"

"Two. Two Brothers. Amrish and Chirag." stated Natasha

"Married?" asked Shweta

"Yes. Both of them married. And my Bhabi's are the greatest."

"How are you?" asked Shweta

"22 years old," stated Natasha. What she didn't realise was what Dhawal was close enough to hear.

"Perfect! I will introduce you to my Rohan, and then you can tell your brothers so we get the introductions started."

"Actually, Natasha is already booked. My wife has no need to start any introductions, " said Dhawal as he put his arm around her waist.

"What? Are you married? Why didn't you say so?" Shweta shrilled.

"You didn't ask. You asked about my brothers. Amrish and Chirag. You didn't ask about Dhawal." said Natasha. Armaan, who heard everything, started to laugh along with his cousins.

Shweta huffed, "Kids these days," as she left them alone.

"Dhawal, I was wondering why you were getting angry. Now I see the reason." Armaan laughed as he slapped Dhawal on the shoulder.

"I'm confused. Why did she get annoyed?" asked an oblivious Natasha

"She thought of you as her potiential daughter in law. She didn't realize that you are married, " said Armaan.

"What?" questioned Natasha

"She wanted you as a daughter in law?" said Dhawal tightly

"Oh," said a quiet Natasha. Natasha was shocked and didn't know what to say.

"Where's your mangalsutra?"

"It's under the necklace." said Natasha

"Put your mangalsutra on top of the necklace." As he pulled out her mangalsutra and displayed it properly. "Now, that's better. Why aren't you wearing your sindoor?"

"I am."

"Next, make sure it is visible. Otherwise, vultures will think you're single, and you're not! You're mine!" ordered Dhawal, making the Podder family smile.

"Fine." said Natasha.

The next day was haldi, and Dhawal was still angry. Before they left their room, Dhawal made sure that her mangalsutra and sindoor were visible to all. "Much better," Dhawal muttered, making Natasha shake her head at him.

Natasha was having fun, enjoying the Haldi with the cousins, Dhawal was slowly walking up to Natasha. He covered her face with Haldi. Natasha screamed while the cousins were laughing.

"Are you crazy? Why would you do that? It's Armaan's and Abhira's haldi, not ours. And two, it's haldi, not holi!"

"Look around Natasha." Natasha noticed that Abhira and Armaan started to chase each other while throwing globs of haldi at each other.

In response, Natasha threw the haldi glob that was in her hair on him, and she grabbed a tray with the haldi and ran, knowing that Dhawal would chase her. She was laughing as she ran circles around him while throwing globs of haldi on each other. As she ran out of haldi, Natasha rushed to grab another tray, and ran away from Dhawal moments before he was able to catch her. Finally, he was able to corner her, away from the crowd.

The next thing Natasha knew was that she was covered in haldi, and Dhawal was holding her tightly. He was rubbing his cheeks against hers. There was no space between them. Finally, Natasha wrapped her arms around him. Dhawal was so into the moment that the moment Natasha put her arms around him, he leaned down and kissed her.

Once Dhawal lifted his head, Natasha realised what they were doing and smacked on his arm.

"Dhawal! What are you doing? We are not in our bedroom! What if someone saw us?" she lectured him.

"Fine!" as he pulled her along with him, as he rushed towards the outhouse, where they were staying. Dhawal rushed Natasha straight into the washroom attached to their bedroom and straight under the shower.

Shortly after, Natasha and Dhawal were showered and dressed.

"I can't believe you did that!"

"You're my wife. And we were hidden away, away from the crowd. Then we were in the privacy of our room." said Dhawal, not bothered about it. "Besides, you weren't complaining twenty minutes ago,"

"Dhawal, ssshh." Natasha was blushing at his words.

"Natasha, I am not complaining. I am happy, in fact." as he leaned his forehead against hers. "I love you, Natasha. More than I can say. You're mine in each lifetime. I don't want to live without you ever."

Natasha smiled, "I love you too."

"Now, we should go out, the haldi ceremony is over, the family is going to relax this evening, but I can take you out for a proper dinner, just the two of us." asked Dhawal

A week later, Natasha and Dhawal were back at the Makwana house, where Natasha was telling her Bhabi's about the trip, the ceremonies, and Shweta. The ladies were laughing together, enjoying the story when Dhawal, Amrish, and Chirag walked into, and Hetal repeated the story. "What Dhawal? Jealousy? Doesn't look good on you, " laughed Chirag

"Whatever!" muttered a shy Dhawal

A few weeks later, Dhawal was coming home from the office when he was in a car accident. Luckily, witnesses were able to call the ambulance, and he was taken to the hospital. The EMT officer located his phone in his pocket, as it was ringing. "Wifey Calling" was on the screen.

The EMT answered, "Hello."

Natasha said, "Hello, Dhawal. When are you coming?"

"Sorry, Ma'am. The person whose phone this is was involved in an accident. We are taking him City Hospital on Main Road." and hung up.

"Amrish Bhai! Chirag Bhai! Bhabis!" Natasha screamed.

"What?" said Amrish as he was the closest. "Bhai, Dhawal."

"Dhawal? What happened?" Amrish got worried.

"Dhawal accident. City Hospital. Main Road." Natasha got out as she was crying too much.

"Natasha, calm down. Let's go to the hospital. I need you to be strong. Nothing is going to happen to Dhawal. I promise. Chirag, you drive, I will call the hospital. Let's go!"

Amrish, Chirag, Hetal, and Natasha arrived at the hospital. Natasha was praying, wishing that anyone heard her prayers and save Dhawal. "Please God, save my Dhawal. I won't be able to live without him. He's my life. Please, Mumma Papa, save Dhawal."

Hetal heard Natasha as she was walking towards her. Amrish and Chirag were speaking to the doctor, and Natasha had walked away for a moment, needing to sit down.

"Natasha, trust in God. He won't let anything happen to Dhawal." said Hetal

"Bhabi!" as she cried in Hetal's arms. After a while, Natasha was exhausted from crying in Hetal's arms. Even in her exhaustion, she was crying for Dhawal...

Finally, the doctor came out, "Dhawal Makwana?"

Natasha woke up rushing to her feet. She rushed to the doctor with Hetal following her. While Chirag and Amrish were already standing by the OR doors waiting for the doctor to come out.

"He's out of danger. There was some internal bleeding, but we have stopped it. He will have to take it easy for a few weeks as his body heals."

"When can we bring him home?" asked Amrish

"A couple of days." said the doctor

"Can we see him?" asked Natasha

"He will be shifted into his room shortly. Then you will be able to see him." said the doctor as he walked away.

"Our prayers worked, Natasha. Dhawal is ok, " said Hetal. Natasha nodded, just staring at the doors.

A few hours later, Dhawal was awake, in his room, with everyone around him.

Natasha was watching him from the doorway. Dhawal looked around but didn't see Natasha.

"Mots, Natasha?" he asked

Chirag moved away, and Dhawal saw Natasha. Natasha rushed to his bedside and held him tight, crying.

"Ssshh. How much will you cry? I am ok. I'm not going anywhere." said Dhawal

"Shut up! You were in an accident. You are lucky! You could have been seriously hurt or even worse! I could have lost you!" Natasha cried.

"I'm ok. I will be fine." said Dhawal, stroking her hair.

Amrish and Chirag kept the conversation going. As Dhawal kept on stroking her hair, slowly Natasha fell asleep. Dhawal looked at Natasha, surprised as she went limp.

"Natasha?" called out Dhawal

"Dhawal, she's make herself exhausted. While we were waiting, she cried herself to the point she was too exhausted to cry, even then it was fitful. She kept on crying out your name. I will get Chirag to take her home." said Hetal

"No, Bhabi. Leave her. I would rather have her with me. She won't rest, nor would I if I'm here and she's at home. It would be better if she's here. Bhabi, can you help me and lay her down properly."

"Ok. Dhawal, you rest. We will go home. Call us if you need anything? We will be back in the morning, " said Amrish.
