ODESSA blinked, her gazed landing on the tree in front of her. She was indeed at the tree of souls, she could feel it.

"Odessaeverett." Niave whispered, looking down at the Odessa who struggled to get up. "You were injured in the attack on home tree. Your body is healing, be careful."

"Thank you." Niave helped Odessa up and into a sitting position. Odessa looked around, trying to find Neytiri or the little girl she had helped save. "The little girl? Neytiri?"

"Both underneath the tree. We are grateful for what you had done, for saving the little girl. She told us when she asked for you." Niave smiled, tuning to look at the people in front of her. They were singing one of the oldest songs. She sat down.

Mo'at, Neytiri, Tsu'tey, and the little girl all were placed underneath the tree of souls. The white, almost glowing, vines behind them within arms reach.

A shadow washed over them, and Niave shot up from her sitting position, bringing Odessa with her. Niave could feel him.

The surviving Omaticaya people gasped out, some screaming in fear and others holding their child tight. Toruk was heading right towards everyone.

The people continued to screamed and back away as Toruk landed in the circle, his feet planting on one of the many rocks. Jake slid off the neck of the Toruk, detaching the bond between them as he did so. He placed his hand on the head of the Toruk, giving it a gentle pat of reassurance.

The people all looked around, some in fear, some in amazement, and some in pure shock. Niave grinned, dragging Odessa behind her who groaned with every few steps.

"Toruk Macto?" Mo'at whispered, her eyes never leaving Jake as he started to walk through the crowd of people. Some of the people murmured and reached out to touch him, all well others bowed their heads.

Niave finally made it to where her family was standing. By time she came to a stop, Jake had made his way through the people and was standing in front of her.

"I See you." Niave smiled, standing right in front of Jake.

Jake smiled back, reaching out for her hand. "I See you.

Odessa turned slightly, watching as Neytiri held the hand of the little girl. She took a step forward, she wouldn't want to scare neither of them. Her steps were slow until she was close.

"Love." Odessa spoke gently. Neytiri let her gaze land on Odessa, her hand leaving the little girls, she took a step towards her mate. Odessa touched her forehead with her fingers and brought it back down; one of the things the people did as they told someone they see them. "I see you."

Neytiri copied her actions, placing a finger against her forehead and bringing it down in front of her. "I see you."

Odessa slowly reached forward, her hand ghosting above Neytiri's shoulder. When she received a nod from her, she met the palm of her hand rest on the skin of ger shoulder.

Odessa smiled softly as she felt sparks and energy pulse between them both. Her hand went from Neytiris shoulder, to her cheek and the smallest bit of the back of neck. The two leaned against each other, foreheads touching as they both took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry." Odessa whispered.

"No, I was afraid, Dessa. For my people," Neytiri pulled away, keeping the gaze the two held. "I'm not anymore."

Odessa exhaled a breath of relief, the she smiled at Neytiri. She placed a kiss to her forehead before she went to stand beside Jake.

"Tsu'tey, son of Ateyo. I stand before you, ready to serve the Omaticaya people. You are Olo'eyktan. You are a great warrior. And we can't do this without you." Jake explained, having walked up the rocks with Odessa by his side.

Tsu'tey looked between Jake and Odessa and the Toruk, that let out a roar, before looking back at the two dream walkers. "Toruk Macto," He replied, gently placing his hand over Jake's heart. "I will fly with you."

"Our friend is dying." Odessa said, some of the people turning to look at her. Odessa looked away from Tsu'tey and towards Mo'at. "Grace is dying. I beg the help of Eywa."

Mo'at looked at Odessa before she closed her eyes for a moment, as if she was closing her eyes to communicate with Eywa. "Eywa can help you, Odessaeverett and Jakesully."

🌍.

ODESSA carried Grace's human body, while Jake and the others prepared Grace's avatar. The
Omaticaya people sat on the scared grounds that held the roots attached to the tree of souls. Their queues were attached to the said roots, everything around them glowing as they chanted.

"Look, where we are Gracie." Odessa told her softly. She let the smallest smile find its way onto her face.

Grace opened her eyes at the sound of the familiar voice. She looked up, surprised and somehow instantly at peace. "I need to take some samples."

Odessa chuckled as she walked further.  She reached the space underneath the tree of souls where she laid Graces body down beside her avatar. The ground beneath Grace glowed and small little strings, almost queue like things started to cover her body. Joining her with Pandora and Eywa.

"The Great Mother may choose to save all that she is in this body." Mo'at explained to Odessa, Jake and Norm, hovering her hand above Grace's human form then her avatar.

"Is that possible?" Jake asked, tilting his head as he looked down at Grace who's eyes were now closed.

Mo'at nodded slightly. "Yes, but she must pass through the eye of Eywa and return. But, Odessaeverett, Jakesully, she is very weak."

Odessa knelt, her hand resting on Graces shoulder. "Hang on, Gracie. They're gonna fix you right up."

"Hear us please, All Mother." Mo'at chanted, her hands hovering over top of Graces body. As if she was channeling energy to move through the bodies.

"Eywa, help her." The Omaticaya people chanted back, their queues attached to the ground beneath them as they swayed well sitting.

"Take this spirit into you." Mo'at stood, raising her arms above her head.

"Eywa, help her." The Omaticaya people continued to chanted back.

"And breathe her back to us." Mo'at continued to wave her hands over the bodies of Grace.

"Eywa, help her."

"Let her walk among us." Mo'at waved her hands, her eyes closed as she helped complete the ritual.

"Eywa, help her."

"As one of the people." Mo'at said loudly as the roots leading towards Grace and her avatar glowed even more bright.

"Eywa, guide her."

Everyone chanted together and they all swayed as a queue like thing attached to the back of Graces neck. It would allow for her consciousness to be transferred over into her avatar. The pulsing glow grew so much brighter and Mo'at leaned back, her head tilted upwards.

"Stop!" Mo'at commanded the people and everyone stopped chanting.

Odessa knelt down as Grace opened her eyes and rolled onto her back, reaching out for Odessa and Jake. "Dessa, Jake." She said weakly, yet a smile was present on her face.

"Gracie." Odessa held the older woman's hand tightly.

"I'm with her. She's real!" Grace breathed out, the smile on her lips forming bigger before she closed her eyes for good, letting out her last breath.

"Grace?" Jake called out seeing her eyes closing and the rise of her chest slowing. "Grace, please. Grace! What's happening? Grace?"

The roots that had once glowed so bright now turned dark. The energy that had once been pulsing through them were now gone.

Jake looked up at Mo'at and Niave, "Did it work?"

Mo'at waved her hands above Graces avatar, feeling nothing. "Her wounds were too great. It was not enough time. She is with Eywa now."

Odessa reach forward, despite Jake who tried to keep her from doing what she was going to do. She gently pulled the mask that had given Grace filtered air off, allowing her body to rest.
