Its a few years since the Heartfilia and the Dragneel companies started working together. And with that started a healthy trading friendship. Since their first actual meeting had never happen, the finally decided to meet. They decided to meet at the Heartfilia mansion, where the young friends would meet.
Lucy's P.O.V
I woke up to my momma shaking me

"Lucy dear, we have to get ready" she said with a smile

"Why momma?" I asked groggily

"Daddy's business partner and his family are coming to meet us."

I just plopped my head on my pillow and tried to drift back off to sleep.

"Lucy, you'll meet a friend~" my momma said in a singly voice

I instantly jumped out of bed! I was ecstatic , I was finally going to have a friend!!! My mom lead me to the bathroom, where we prepared my bath and laid out my outfit. While my mom washed my hair I imagined what my new friend was going to look like. Then I had a strike of reality, what if my new friend doesn't like me. I decided to ask momma about it.

"Momma?" I said in a said tone

"What's wrong Lucy dear?"

"What if my new friend doesn't like me?" My momma put on a sad smile and stopped rubbing shampoo in my hair.

"And what makes you think that he wouldn't like you?"

"Wait... Its a boy?!?! But mom boys have cooties!" Momma bursted out laughing

"Don't worry Lucy, I had him take a special medicine that gets ride of the cooties." My face brightened back up

"Really momma?!?! Thank you !!"

"Your welcome, now let's rinse your hair and get you dressed." I nodded vigorously and dunked my head under the water.
One I was finished getting dressed (with help from my momma) I looked in the mirror, I was wearing a pink frilly dress with white lace trim tracing the ruffles. The dress had pink lace trimming the sleeves to give more of a kiddish touch. My hair was down a curled with a single pink flower clip pulling some hair back. My shoes were a simple black buckle pair with a pink flowery pattern to them.. I thought I looked beautiful!! I wonder what he will think.

Natsu's P.O.V

I had finished getting dressed in a red polo shirt with tan dress pants and black dress shoes. My parents were forcing me to come with them to some business meeting. I don't care if I get to meet some one my age too.. It was a girl! And I hate girls! They are so clingy and are cry babies!! So annoying. (A/N: sorry to all the girls reading this... This is offensive to me too... But I'm just trying to show what Natsu is feeling right now.) I walked down stairs for breakfast, but to be honest I wasn't too hungry(which is hard to believe) but its true. With the upsetting news it took away my appetite.

"Natsu eat something! We wouldn't eat next until lunch time at the Heartfilia's." Following my mom's orders I put 15 pancakes on my plate and drowned them in syrup. After the two minutes with stuffing it all in my mouth I got up from the table to feed my blue haired companion happy. I put a big fish in his cat bowel and listened to him thank me with his strange meow 

"aye sir" he then began munching on his fish. I couldn't help but giggle at his cuteness.

"Natsu honey, we're leaving" my mother called. I ran up along side her while we walk hand in hand to our limo. I wonder why I have to come with. Might as well ask.

"Mother.. Why do I have to come?" I shied away from her when she turned to me with a harsh gaze. To be honest my mother could be intimidating quite often. But since this wasn't the first time she disparaged me I quickly got over it.

"For the last time, you are coming with to meet the Heartfilia's stunning daughter." Shed huffed angerly after answering.

"What's she like?" I couldn't help but ask.

"I heard that she is absolutely beautiful, graceful, kind, silly, and happy. With the lightest and brightest brown eyes you have ever gazed upon. Golden silk hair that dances with the breeze, and the most cheerful of all laughs. So happy of a smile it melts the frown off of any face." I smiled at the end of the magnificent description of the girl I was to meet. The limo pulled into a driveway of a rather large mansion , bigger than my own. With pillars reaching the sky and green twisting vines wrapped and twirling around the snow white poles. My eyes soon darted to a beautiful girl standing next to her mother , this girl can only match the description of the one and only Lucy Heartfilia. My mother pushed me along as my dad speed off to meet Jude?...I'm guessing. My mother hugged what seemed to be Layla Heartfilia. My mother and her soon got stuck in their newly made conversation. I turned my attention back to the girl to see her arm extended . I grabbed her hand and shook it.

"I'm Lucy."

"I'm Natsu."

"Its a pleasure to meet you, sir Natsu."

"The pleasure is all mine" I said with a bow. We both laughed at our funny act. I don't know if it was just me but I felt an instant connection with Luce. Luce took my hand and lead me to the private gardens. When we turned the corner reveling the gardens, a huge glimmering fountain was shown and a huge maze made of the finest green shrubs.

"Why did you take me here?" I asked

"Because I want to show you something. You have to promise to keep it a secret because I'm the only one who knows of it." She held out her pinkie, I stared at it with confusion

"What am I suppose to do with your pinkie." She giggled at me

"You have to pinkie promise , here give me your pinkie." I gave my hand with my extended pinkie to her, she soon linked up our pinkies and shook them slightly chanting

"I promise." I soon followed her actions

"I promise." She smiled at me, I smiled back with blush blossoming on my face like a rose in the spring.
