Bio

Ayo was born in a small village on the African Coast to a loving mother and father sadly in his early years his father would disappear from his life and he would never get the closure needed to deem his father evil or a good man who died young thanks to Wilds of Africa and for that reason he put these thoughts in the back of his head. Ayo was raised alongside his two older sisters Ada and Asha who taught him how to fight, hunt (Small Prey), grow crops, bargain and rummage, Ayo was loved dearly by his older sister's so much so that they often bragged about him to others considering how quick he could grasp a concept and how he was always there for his sisters, one day at the age of 8 Ayo noticed a older man aggressively grabbing for his sister Asha before yanking her hair enraged he tackled the man before breaking his nose with one hell of a punch the resulting struggle ended up catching a stranger's attention who snuck up behind the man as he punched Asha who attempted to both protect and pull Ayo away from the man, a machete blade soon laid against his neck causing him to bleed slightly as it dug into his neck, Ayo and Asha fled as soon as possible leaving the two alone neither were seen again which led to a lot of speculation in the Ajanlekoko household after this chilling event Asha and Ada both were given machetes by their mother who had them train with a local warrior who had knew their father needless to say their talents with a machete was soon passed down to Ayo who kept his sisters machetes in pristine condition, but one day came that changed everything that was the day were Ayo's peaceful life ended, the village was surrounded in the middle of the night by a bunch of armed men who barged into everyones home shooting dead any last woman and child, Ayo and his sisters were ushered by his mother out of the back of their house forced to crawl to avoid detection that is until they were split up as the sounds of their mothers shouts were cut short by the ringing of a bullet it had hit Ada the hardest and she stood and sprinted getting the attention of the rallying guards who had set their house alight, the commotion lead the second sister in a panic to run in the opposite direction leaving poor Ayo alone, Ayo crawled as silently as he could trying to avoid the footfalls of the soldiers who gave chase after his sisters, Ayo didn't go far that night and hid in a little ditch about a 10 minutes out of village the stress had took it's toll on the little boy leading him to pass out in that little ditch waking up the next day Ayo desperately went through the ashes of his razed village looking for any supplies he could find in the end he didn't find much but a little canteen filled with water and the bones of the dead left with no options he fled south down the road drinking extremely sparingly eventually left with no alternatives for food he hunted what he could eating them raw and lapping up their blood by the end of the day he rested on top of a large tree on the second day his long walk had paid off as he stumbled upon a raided caravan the rotting bodies scared Ayo so much but pushed on scavenging another canteen filled with water and a pistol and some ammo he had what he needed to protect himself and hunt larger prey with those precious bullets he saved himself from starvation long enough to finally hit the river where he was found by a old elderly man who seeing his suffer offered a spot in his caravan if he was willing to work, Ayo told this old man that his village was razed as he stated it was their destination for some valued trading, the old man seemed angry about this turn of events and decided this venture was too risky and plotted a course to the closest town, Ayo was of course later introduced to his fellow caravan members they seemed nice enough but their weapons frightened him he never understood the dangers a caravan could stumble into so he treated them with caution sleeping away from their camp and always sticking to the back of the group till they hit town when there they part ways due to the insistence of Ayo, the old man feeling bad for Ayo gives him some money for the help, Ayo then tries carving out a life in this small town but he finds himself undermined by everyone there that is until another old man approaches him outside of a bar and offers him a drink taking him up on his offer Ayo is soon offered a job one that chills him but the old man's offer is too much to deny so Ayo slowly walks across the bar shakily pulls out his pistol and shoots a man in the head his friends at the same table try to gun him down, Ayo tries shooting them to but his gun jams, Ayo accepting death waits to die only to hear two bullets whistle by him striking the men looking back Ayo sees the old man resting a smoking pistol on his lap under the table beckoning him back over to him the old man proceeds to ruffle the fur on the top of his head before having him follow him outside giving Ayo a large sum of money, the old man proceeds to take the confused and chilled Ayo under his wing teaching him how to be a professional mercenary leading him to take contracts from various types of people within Africa that is until the World War begins looking for talented mercenaries Kaiser Wilhelm II soon starts spreading news throughout Ayo's circle of friends with promises of large amounts of money and even positions of power Ayo couldn't refuse seeking to make his fortune and settle down within the country away from the mess of Africa's warring factions.
