Faustus Lepontus is a Spectral Knight one of the highest ranking soldiers in the Spectral Wood, Lepontus trained at a very young age with a variety of weapons mastering them all at the age of 16, Lepontus being the great outdoorsman's he took to the forest learning to live off the land at the age of 14 during this two year period he came across a injured falcon whom he nursed back to health becoming inseparable he gave the falcon the name "Augustus" and trained the bird to do a long list of things combined these two become basically unstoppable at 16 Lepontus became a bounty hunter for the crown tracking down thieves, assassins and many other dangerous criminals his talents gained so much attention he became a legend in the field and was given the nickname "Spectre Hunter" when he turned 18 he participated in "The Spectre Games" a competition held by the King each year to test the skills of the soldiery, the winner of this competition is knighted as a member of the Spectral Knights, Lepontus easily won all these but with one competitor matching him in every event this was Nero Valeria's attempt to join the knights, the final event was a fight between the two, evenly matched the fight was tense in a last ditch effort to win the title of "Spectral Knight" he had Augustus attack Nero giving him the opening he so desperately needed to win, it was quickly discovered he cheated as the falcon perched on his arm, the King impressed by Lepontus' deception and skill decided in the end to Knight both of them seeing how Nero was rightly cheated, Lepontus after being knighted soon found his place within the ranks becoming one of the hands of the King meant to act his bodyguard and a arbiter of swift justice.
