So I got a detention for getting back to art with only 5 minutes until it was finished. Maybe I should have just gone back to class instead of flirting with the barrister in Starbucks, it's not my fault he was hot.

Blame his godly like genes.

I was definitely prepared to take a detention as long as I got his number, and I did.

I was now walking towards Psychology with Rhiannon Banks nattering on besides me, about how amazing Drake Fifer's annual camping party was going to be.

Drake Fifer was the epitome of loaded.

I've never met his mum or dad, but I've heard about them. Apparently they both own a chain of top notch restaurants, nothing like your nandos or Pizza Hut. I'm talking about your 5-star-must-wear-a-jacket, kind.

I've also heard that both his parents come from money, and then both of their parents came from money, and then both of their parents came from money, basically if drake was an equation he'd be (money + money = drake²).

He has this camping party every year in August to celebrate his birthday, and when I mean camping I mean the nitty gritty camping, not that glamping shit. Drake is the type of guy that doesn't really flash his money much, I guess that's a reason why I think he's a cool guy. He could be a total big headed prat and use his money as an excuse to act like a dickhead, but no.

He uses the fact that he's a guy as an excuse that he's a dickhead.

Only a few people get invited to the camping party, and no it doesn't depend on social standing. If drake sees you as his friend or something that he can call his play thing, then he'll invite you. I'm obviously in the friend category as I once broke his nose for kissing me one time on the trip, never again he said.

"I was told that he's gonna gift everyone a Lamborghini this year" Rhiannon said excitedly.

He's a sixth former, not Oprah for gods sake.

Giving her an 'are you stupid look', she looked at me with her lips pouted and a questioning look on her face.

Drakes gift bags consist of the following items: condoms, hand made blunts, Hershey chocolate bars and a bottle of tequila.

No cars.

"What? It could happen" her voice increased in pitch as she got to the end of the sentence.

Yeah it could happen, just as soon as I start to find Angelina Jolie not hot.

Scrunching my nose up, I ran my fingers through my hair to preoccupy my hand from not going around her scrawny neck. Did she not notice how annoying her voice was?

I laughed it off as she continued to speak to me as if I were still listening.

I know I sound harsh right now, I mean Rhiannon is a great girl, maybe a little OTT for me, but still great.

It's just ever since my best friend Camilla left to live in Australia about 2 years ago, I haven't really been able to make any close girl friends. Camilla was one of a kind, it's always been Jack, Camilla and I. I could always go to her about anything, whether it be girly or not, and trust me, video chat is not the same.

So I wasn't trying to be mean to Rhiannon, it's just I keep comparing every girl I speak to to Camilla , and none of them are as kick ass as her, so why should I downgrade?

My head was leant against the poster of the after school clubs as Rhiannon's words bored into my mind.

She was boring me to the point I thought I was going to drift off to sleep standing up, that was until I was interrupted.

"Um excuse me?" Fluttering my eyes back open, my words stuck in my throat as I looked up towards a beautiful angel with blonde hair.

His crystal blue eyes peered down at me like I was just some sort of rock. once you've seen one, you've seen them all, that kind of look.

The hairs on my back stood up as he cocked an eyebrow with curiosity roaming his features.

I had just noticed I hadn't answered him, I had just been checking him out as he watched me. I felt like a cat caller now, I felt like a sleazy builder and he was the hot piece of ass walking down the street.

Speak goddammit!

"huh?" I blurted out.

Huh? Really Jourdan? Really?!

Slipping one hand in his back pocket, he let the other one lay on the back of his neck.

"I said could you excuse me?" Nodding my head in realisation, I got how it was probably the poster behind me he wanted.

Stepping one to my left, I watched as he yanked the poster off from the wall and held it in the grip of his both hands. Scanning his eyes down the list, his eyes kept flickering to me like he could sense me staring. Obviously I would act as if I was looking at the filthy ground instead.

I hadn't seen this guy around, it's not a face I would forget either. He's probably new, damn I need to get in there fast, but what if he has a girlfriend? What if he has a boyfriend? What if he has both?

My thoughts came to a halt as I saw him starting to fold the piece of paper up and put it neatly in his backpack.

Just as I was about to speak to him, Jack had began pulling me into the classroom.

And the cockblocking award goes to Mr Jack Gibb, ladies and gentlemen.

I tried to smack away his hand from my arm, but there was no point, he had a grip like... Like someone with a real good grip.

Looking over my shoulder, I suppressed the urge to shout out yippee as I saw the angelic beauty follow us in.

Jack let go of my arm once I dug my nails into his skin, he let out a girlish squeal making both Oscar and I roll out eyes.

Eugh.

Sitting in my usual seat, I looked to my right to see that Victoria Nelson was yet again ill today, making her seat the only empty seat in the class, thank you Jesus.

I'm sure her small case of swine flu will improve, I'll pray for her.

As everyone sat in their seats, my eyes scanned the classroom and stopped to the seats right in front of me, as I overheard Jack talking to his best bud Satan.

"New lad looks like a right dickhead" The jerk laughed. I rolled my eyes and went back to the new kid just standing at the front of the class like the black sheep.

"Class." Miss Toner said trying to quiet down the class. "Class, we have a new student joining us today, his name is Tristan and I would like to see you welcome him with open arms" she stood tall with her petite hands on her pencil black skirt, and her chest stuck out like a 13 year old taking a selfie.

I'm sure that was her welcoming him with her open arms?

And mouth.

And legs.

Her eyes inappropriately roamed his body for a few seconds before sending him to sit down next to me, I noticed the sour look she had given me once she noticed it was I, he would sitting next to.

All the class watched him like a hawk until he sat down at his desk quietly. He didn't look like the quiet type which surprised me.

He pulled out his psychology book and pencil case of his rucksack, and waited quietly while everyone else around him were talking to their friends.

Turning my body around in my chair, I intwined my fingers together and prepared myself to charm the hell out of him.

"So you're new around here?" I finally said.

Really jourdan? There was nothing else you could have said? You might as well have said 'you come here often'.

Turning his neck, he looked down at me with a small smile.

"Yeah, I moved here from Australia a few weeks ago" I don't see how I didn't notice his accent before, it was so strong.

"Ah, the land from down under." I said with a grin on my lips. "You bring a kangaroo with you by any chance?" Adding humour always made me feel more comfortable.

He let out a roar of laughter, making the dimple in his cheek deepen. His pearly white teeth were on full show and his button nose scrunched up cutely. I admired the way his blonde hair hung over his eyes as he looked towards his desk.

"If I had a dollar for every person that asked me that today, I'd have precisely 5 dollars." He chuckled. It was now my turn to turn and smile towards my desk.

His laughter died down as he noticed people were beginning to look his way. The girls stared with lust, while the guys with envy. Actually, it looked like Jack and Oscar were looking at him in disgust.

He began to cough awkwardly making me start to laugh.

As the class started, I bit down on my lip to try to calm my smile down. His voice was like velvet and his laugh like honey.

Halfway through the lesson, I looked from the corner of my eye to see what he was doing, and to my surprise, he was also looking at me from the corner of his eye.

His cheeks changed in colour as he saw that I had caught him, only making my smile widen.

"I didn't catch your name" he whispered while Miss Toner lectured us on aggression.

Continuing to write down my notes, I didn't take my eyes off of my paper as I replied with a smile.

"Jourdan, my names Jourdan" I imagined him nodding his head in acknowledgement, his blonde locks moving as he did so.

Jack's head perked up as he overheard Tristan and I speaking. Turning around in his chair, he looked between us with his eyebrows pulling together.

"And I'm Jack" he added. Sticking out his hand for Tristan to shake, he pulled away before Tristan even had a chance to take it.

Shooting my foot out to kick him, me being me missed and kicked the 1 person I wish I hadn't.

"Ow, what the fuck?!" Oscar winced. He had jerked his knee up so it had connected with the bottom of his desk, drawing attention to himself.

People began to snigger, but not for long as they were all quietened down by either the deathly glare they were receiving from Oscar, or Miss Tanner's screeching voice.

Craning his neck around, he was about to kick me back before Jack held his leg back with his foot.

Snapping a look towards him, he mumbled a few things under his breath before turning back around and continuing with his work.

"Now I want you guys to write up your essays by next Monday, okay? Fail to do so and you'll be doing it in workshop" we all mindlessly nodded while packing away our things, and getting up from our seats.

Slinging my bag over my back, I looked up from my books in my hand to see Oscar and Jack both trying their hardest to flirt with the girls that say in front of them.

Desperadoes.

Oscar's arm was draped over Tanya Blakes shoulder, and his lips brushing against her ear as she giggled childishly. I didn't know what he was whispering to her, but it sure seemed to work, as her hands couldn't stop groping him.

They both did realise we hadn't left class yet? Right?

Jack on the other hand was using his go to flirting technique , making them laugh their underwear off.

I shook my head as I heard him retell her about the time he accidentally set his house on fire. He always thought that story was hilarious, I was there, it wasn't funny at all.

Well that's what the fire department said.

Everyone began to exit class once Miss Toner dismissed us as the bell rang. Halfway out the door, I span around on my heels as I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Sorry, I was just wondering if I could sit with you for lunch?" Smiling up at the aussi, I watched as he awkwardly waited for my answer, shifting his weight from foot to foot.

"I don't see why not. Lead the way kangaroo Jack?"
