Ryder and the other pups are helping Farmer Yumi with something until Ryder gets a call from Captain Turbot.

Ryder answers the call and says in his usual tone.

"Hey Captain Turbot, what's up is something wrong?"

"Ahoy Ryder, i just called to ask, um is one of your pups missing a tag?" He asked Ryder in a confused tone.

Ryder was confused he looked at the other pups and saw they have their tags.

"No not that i know of, why?"

"Oh cause i found this pup tag that's Orange and with a anchor on it that looks like Zuma's" Turbot says holding Zuma's pup tag.

Ryder gasps, and says in a concerned tone

"Hold on let me see if Zuma just forgot to bring it with him back at the lookout"

He hangs up the call then calls the Lookout.

"Zuma? Zuma are you there?" Ryder says Concerned, but no one answered.

He calls Turbot back with a worried expression on his face.

"Captain Turbot, can you go to the lookout to see if Zuma might be sleeping in his pup house"

"Sure thing Ryder, oh i forgot Zuma's helmet is here too" He says holding up the Orange helmet in his hand.

The call ends and Ryder paces back and forth biting his nail.

Chase notices this and walks over.

"Ryder is everything alright?"

"Chase i'm going to need you to do what i say okay?" Ryder says kneeling down to Chases level.

The German Shepherd looked confused but agreed.

"I want you to go back to the look out and help Captain Turbot to look for Zuma okay?" Ryder says.

Chases Expression immediately changes to worried.

"What!? What happened" Chase says Concerned.

"I don't know Chase, but i want you to help Captain Turbot, i'll let the other pups know and we'll try and find Zuma" Ryder says patting Chases head.

Chase nods then goes to his Police cruiser and drives back to the lookout.

After Chase makes it to the lookout he sees Captain Turbot searching the lookout inside and out.

"Captain Turbot, Captain Turbot, where's Zuma did you find him?" Chase says worried.

Turbot shakes his head also worried.

Chase runs into the lookout searching every nook and Cranny of the place for Zuma, but he couldn't find the young Chocolate Lab.

Meanwhile Ryder told the other pups about Zuma's dissapearance and they also become worried and began searching for him.

A few hours later the pups and Ryder still haven't found Zuma Ryder asked Katie to put up Missing Puppy Posters for the Young Chocolate Lab.

Hours went by and Zuma still has not been found, Ryder and the pups get even more worried.

"Ryder..Zuma is still missing..when is anyone gonna find him?" Rocky says with watery eyes.

"I don't know Rocky, but i promise someone will find him" Ryder Replies petting Rocky's head.

In the deep blue ocean Mayor Humdinger and his Kitty Crew are in his Purple Submarine.

"Well Kitty's i've been wanting those Pearls from Puplantis and finally they will finally be mind" Humdinger says laughing along with his kitty's.

As he was driving his submarine something catches his eye.

"Huh what's that Kitty's?"

He turns his sub a little to see something unusual.

"Is that..Is that a skull head!?"

He gets a closer look until something or someone slams into his sub.

"Whoa, Kitty's ohhh i guess i have no choice but to call Ryder.." Humdinger says pulling his phone out.

Mayor Humdinger was about to call until he sees a reflection of a Merpup in the mirror at the back of the Sub

He turns around to get a good look at it then the Merpup smashes the window and attacks Mayor Humdinger with viscous growls and snarls.

Humdingers Kitty's watch him get eating alive by the Merpup as the sub slowly gets filled with water.

Humdingers phone flies out of his hand in front of the kitty that looks like Zuma and taps its paw on it accidentally making a Audio Recording of the screams and Chomping sounds of the Merpup eating Humdingers guts out.

The Kitty's Meowed in terror and that's when the Merpup stopped what it was doing and turned its head towards the helpless kitty's and attacked them, eating every one of them, well, except one, The Chocolate Furred Kitty that looks like Zuma managed to escape and swim away from the sinking sub, towards adventure bay with the humdingers phone in it's mouth.

Ryder wakes up to the sound of his pup pad going off, he answers to hear Katie worried and speaking gibberish.

"Katie, Katie calm down, what's wrong?" Ryder says.

"I found one of Humdingers Kitty's passed out on the beach"

"Don't worry i'm on my way" Ryder replies.

He was about to go down the pole until a certain pup calls out to him.

"Ryder sir, where are you going?" Chase asks with a tired tone.

"Chase, what are you doing out of bed?"

"I..I couldn't sleep, cause..of Zuma" Chase replies looking down at the ground.

Ryder smiles a bit then offers a hand, the German Shepherd jumps onto his shoulders and slides down with him.

Ryder drives to the beach with Chase behind him, they see Katie hovering over the chocolate furred cat trying to figure out what to do.

"Katie we're here" Ryder says running towards her followed by Chase.

"I just found him like this" Katie explains.

Ryder puts his ear on the cats chest to hear a heart beat or a pulse at least.

"He still has a pulse that's good" Ryder says picking the cat up.

The three of them headed back to Katie's pet shop and placed the cat on the table and waited for him to wake up.

"Ryder i also found this phone along with the cat, i believe it belonged to Mayor Humdinger" Katie says handing the phone to Ryder.

Ryder looks at the phone then says.

"Why did the cat have this Katie?"

Katie shrugs her shoulder

"I don't know, i just found it in his mouth"

Ryder presses the power button and it surprisingly turned on, i pressed the home button twice and recent apps popped up.

"Huh the recent app used was a Audio Recording app" Ryder says.

Chase looks at the phone along with Katie.

Ryder presses on the app and presses play and he along with Chase and Katie listens to the horrifying sounds of Humdingers Screams and the munching sounds of the Merpup eating the insides of Humdinger.

"O-Oh my god.." Katie says about to vomit.

"Wait there's more" Ryder says.

They listen again and then hears the shrieks of Humdingers cats, the shrieks grew louder and Louder until the audio recording stopped playing.

Chases eyes widened and Katie covers her mouth so she couldn't vomit.

"What..WHAT WAS THAT THING" Chase says scared.

They sat there in Katies Pet parlor until the sun rises.
