This was a request months ago but I was never sure how to write this ship which I (sorry) don't ship.

So they are high school maybe college agedish mortals cuz I don't know how else to write this ship. Also they aren't related or else this would be really weird.

Delivery Boy

Apollo didn't feel like moving. He was enjoying laying on the floor watching the movie.

Ding. Dong.

"That's gotta be the pizza," Athena said. "Apollo go get it."

"Why me?" Apollo groaned.

"I don't want to."

"I'm hoping to braid Artemis's hair so we can't move either," Aphrodite reasoned.

"No you're not," Artemis argued.

"I am."

"No."

As the two bickered, Apollo glared at all the girls in the room. Finally he stood with a groan and trudged down the stairs.

Ding. Ding.

"I'm coming!" Apollo shouted as he began to look around for his wallet. Finally he found it in his jacket and opened the door.

At the door stood a guy in a white t-shirt with a good show with wings on it. Apollo's eyes drifted to his face. The boy had black curly hair and blue eyes. Apollo stared at him. He didn't even realize what he was doing until the boy spoke.

"You ordered two pizzas from Mercury's?" The boy asked.

Apollo blushed a bit and nodded taking the pizzas. "Yeah. How much?"

"15.75."

Apollo nodded and handed the boy a 20. "Keep the change."

"Thanks."

~~~~
Ding. Dong.
All eyes turned to Apollo he groaned and grabbed his twin's wallet (ignoring her shouting) and headed for the stairs.
Ding. Dong.
Apollo opened the door to see the same boy as last time. And just like last time he found his eyes lingering, staring into the other boy's blue eyes.
The boy cleared his throat. "17.25."
Apollo nodded. And blushed taking out the money. "Isn't that more than last time?"
"You got a soda too right?" The boy asked handing over the stuff.
"Oh right," Apollo said a bit embarrassed. He handed over the money. "Keep the change."
The boy thanked him and Apollo closed the door. After a moment Apollo opened the door slightly and peeked out as the boy hopped on a bike and quickly rode off.
~~~~

Ding. Dong.

"Apollo-"

Apollo didn't wait for them to finish when and jumps up and hurries down the stairs.

Ding. Dong.

Apollo paused before the door and fixed his hair before opening it. He smiled at the delivery boy who gave him a sly smile back.

"17.25," the boy told him handing Apollo the stuff.

Apollo nodded and handed the boy the money. The boy waved and turned around hearing back toward his bike.

Today Apollo would ask.

Ding Dong.

Apollo (who may or may not have been sitting on the stairs waiting for the delivery boy) stood and opened the door with a smile.

The boy blinked surprised. "I normally have to press it twice."

Apollo shrugged. "Good timing. I was just walking by."

"15.75," He said holding out the pizza.

Apollo took the pizza and gave him the money. The boy turned to leave.

Ask damnit! Apollo mentally shouted at himself trying to force his mouth to work.

"Um- wait!"

The boy turned around confused. "Wrong order?"

Apollo shook his head and his face grew hot. "What? Um no. I was just wondering... What your name is? You don't wear a name tag..."

The boy blinked before he recovered with that sly smile. "Hermes. You?"

"A-Apollo."

"Cool. Nice to officially meet you Apollo. See you next time."

Apollo waved and went back inside the house and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Aww. 'Pollo's got a crush."

Apollo blinked and looked up to see the girls watching him. "Shut up."

~~~~
Apollo drummed his fingers on his knee as he sat on the stairs waiting for the delivery boy- Hermes.
He had to do this today so he could avoid doing it when all the girls were there to coach him as they had previously promised. And he could not live through that embarrassment. L
Ding.
Apollo pulled open the door before the doorbell could stop.
A nervous smile was on his face but it slipped when he saw a different boy standing there in a Mercury's uniform.
"Did you order one pizza from Mercury's?" The boy asked.
Apollo nodded pretending his heart hadn't dropped to the floor.
Apollo paid and took the pizza and the boy left. Apollo closed the door dismayed.
What was he thinking?
Who said that Hermes would be doing deliveries today? Or that he even worked today?
Apollo trudged to his room the pizza no longer appetizing. He flopped on his bed and lay there for a while until his stomach growled. Finally he got up and opened the pizza box.
On the upper flap he noticed writing in a black marker.
Sorry, had to make the pizzas today. Call me later.
A smile slid on Apollo's face. He dropped the slice of pizza and grabbed his phone.
