Eggman walked up to the trio after ditching them. "We have a mutual problem, one so large that it will take both of us to overcome it." Eggman explained as sonic crossed his arms and puffed

"Whatever. I told you, we can handle the Zeti by ourselves!" Sonic countered as eggman sighed
"That may be true, but the rebellious swine have gotten hold of a device of mine, and they're using it in ways for which it was never designed." Eggman explained as sonic,n,and tails grew confused 
"What was it designed for, Doctor?" Tails asked as Dr. Eggman punches Orbot. Then Orbot holds Cubot out to project a video of the Extractor"It was supposed to extract energy from our world, but the machine is unstable. Once it reaches full power it can't be shut off. It will drain our world dry!" Eggman explained the Machine that was on screen 
"So that's what Amy was talking about." Sonic muttered under his breath as N turned to hm 
"And you just wanna go smash it, don't ya?" N said,unimpressed as sonic turned to her 
"Well, yeah." Sonic turned to the two as both N and tails sighed  What? It's what I do!" Sonic retorted as Eggman grew annoyed 

"Oh, always your answer to everything, Hedgehog. If you wish to create a cataclysmic explosion that will incinerate everything within a hundred miles, please, smash away." Eggman said with a glare.

"So, there's no off switch?" Sonic questioned as eggman sighed once again

"No, not anymore. I need to get to the machine and reprogram the shutdown sequence. I'll supply the brains. You will supply the brawn I need to get past the Zeti..And N." Eggman turned to her as her head tilted "you'll be the beauty." eggman waved his hand dismissively as n grew a smile on her face as she whispered a quiet 'yipee!'

"Oh, and your asking so nicely." Tails said sarcasitcally as sonic laughed

"Heh, good one, buddy."  Sonic complimented as he was ready to fistbump him as tails laughed to

"Heh, thanks." Tails thanked as he fistbumped the hedgehog as Eggman glared 

"Man up, Tails! I don't like working with my most hated enemies any more than you do, but our entire world is at stake!" Eggman yelled as sonic did a 'pfft' sound affect

"yeah, well, teaming up with you feels like the end of the world, Eggman. I'm gonna want to take a long shower by the time we're done!" Sonic retorted as the newly formed team walks off off of the beach
