6 months is a long time. Especially for those who grow together, learn about each other, and explore new journeys of life.

It was Shiva and Raavi's 6 month anniversary. 6 months since they had been married. In these 6 months, they fought, argued, worked out their problems, fell in love and adjusted around each other.

Nothing was perfect. Shiva snored like a bull, Raavi slept like a starfish. He'd leave the towel on the bed, she forget to dry her clothes.

But it was pure bliss. It didn't have to be perfect to be together. That, is growth.

Now, a 6 month anniversary isn't a special occasion for most married couples. But it was a big deal for them.

Today had to be special.

"Good morning!" Shiva said, as he set down the tea cups on the table.

"Itne dino baad Shiva ki haath ki chai? Aaj kya hua? Roj roj aise help karega toh Raavi ko bhi aaram milega na." Gautam smiled.

"Aaj mai bada khush hu." Shiva announced.

"Kyu? Aaj kya hai?" Raavi sipped her coffee, and stopped midway to look at Shiva.

It's as if they were communicating through their eyes.

They looked at each other and blushed. Everyone around them were just looking between them.

"Aaj toh kisika birthday bhi nahi hai, anniversary bhi nahi hai. Toh aaj kya hai?" Rishita asked, confused.

Maybe 6 months wasn't a huge deal for the couple in love since the beginning. But it was for the couple who were at each other's necks.

"Raavi, tu aaj mami ke ghar jaane waali thi na?" Shiva asked, trying not to arouse suspicion.

But, Raavi was smarter. She squinted at him, "Haa, par tu mujhe bhejne ke liye itna utaawla kyu ho raha hai? Chakkar chal raha hai kya tera?" She joked.

"Mereko chakkar chalana hota toh mai bahar jaata, usse ghar pe nahi laata, pagal." Shiva shook his head, "Yeh ek baat ko idhar se udhar le jaana koi tumse seekhe."

"Zyaada zubaan mat chala aaj ke din." Raavi retorted.

"Hum abhi bhi yahi hai koi batayega aaj kya hai?" Krish joked.

"Krish chod na, inke beech ki baat hogi." Dhara winked. "Waise, hum sab aaj bahar jaa rahe hai, tum dono ko aana hai?"

"Nahi. Aap log jaao." Shiva and Raavi replied too quickly. They got up and ran in opposite directions.

"Dev, Rishita, tumhe kahi nahi jaana?" Dhara asked. "Kyuki ghar toh aaj khaali rakhna padega"

"Par kyu? Aaj-" Dev began, but stood with eyes open. "6 mahine." He slapped his forehead.

"Oh no! Mujhe toh yaad hi nahi tha! Dev, hum kahi dinner pe chalte hai na, like a one night stay in a hotel." Rishita pleaded. "Waise bhi ghar ke bahar jaana will be a good idea. Hume toh 1 year anniversary more important hai, but 6 months bhi chota sa milestone hai." She said, hugging Dev's arm.

"Issi bahane, mai night out ke liye permission maang lu? Kabse plan kar rahe the." Krish requested.

"Chalo theek hai, enjoy karle Krish, mai aur gombi farmhouse chale jaayenge. Woh Shiva me mujhe bohot din pehle se puch raha tha ki aaj ghar khaali hoga ya nahi. Mujhe yaad hi nahi aaya..." Dhara smiled and shook her head.

"Sab ghar khaali karne ki tayyari mein lago. Humare Shiva bade ho gaye aaj." Krish said, followed by a slap to his head by Gautam.

Shiva managed to successfully send Raavi to her house without her thinking he had planned something for today.

Luckily, Dhara bhabhi remembered what today was and agreed to have the house empty today. If he showed his romantic side to the family, he would never hear the end of it.

He had everything in place, just as the bell rang, right on cue.

She walked in, to the place in complete darkness. "Yeh light chali gayi hai kya?" she thought.

Suddenly, all lights turned on, with Shiva waiting in the centre of the room. He wore the black shirt she first gifted him.

The living room was adorned with lights and little flowers. She stood in awe. She loved it.

She ran to him and gave him a tight hug, and he reciprocated.

"Tujhe yaad tha." She thought he forgot.
"Kaise bhoolta? Important tha mere liye aaj ka din." He held her hands in his and kissed them.

"Mai soch hi rahi thi kya karna hai, par kuch accha idea aaya hi nahi." Raavi pouted.

He switched on some music and pulled her closer. "Tu mere saath hai, yahi bohot hai."

Raavi rested her hands on his shoulder, while he wrapped his arms around her waist, swaying to the music.

"Happy 6 months, mere bhootnath." Raavi chuckled, kissing his cheek.

He placed a kiss on her forehead, "Happy 6 months, meri jaan"

"Aur kya plan kiya hai?" She asked, just as the music stopped.

Song ends

He smirked, before picking her up in bridal style. "Chal. Dikhata hoon."

He put her down before entering the room, and blindfolded her.

"Par Shiva mujhe dekhna hai!" She complained.

"2 minute rukegi zara? Surprise pehle hi dikh gaya toh surprise kaisa?" Shiva shook his head.

He helped her enter the room, fidgeted with some elements and took off her blindfold, "Surprise!"

Raavi stood stunned. The room was brightly lit up with candles. And there was a huge portrait of the two of them, hanging on the wall in front, surrounded by other smaller pictures, like a collage.

She turned back to look at him, he wasn't there, but she found him kneeling in front of her.

"Raavi Pandya. Maanta hu ki humne ladai bohot ki hai, par I promise you, usse kahi zyaada pyaar karunga tumse. Zindagi bhar. Agar tumhe mujhse firse shaadi karne ka chance mila, toh karogi?" He raised his hand in front of her.

He didn't have a ring or a fancy gift. But that didn't matter to Raavi. This moment did.

She took his hand, and sat on his leg, putting her hands around him.

"I promise you, tumhe hamesha pyaar karungi. Jhagda bhi karungi. Lekin woh toh mera haq hai na" She said, pulling his cheek. "Aur ek baar kya, hazaar baar tumse shaadi kar lungi." She smiled.

Suddenly, Shiva's leg gave way and he fell on top of her. They both laughed, while Shiva helped her up and said, "Ab itni bhi halki nahi ho tum. Girna toh tha hi."

"Hawww, mai moti ho gayi hu?"

Raavi raised her arm to slap his arm playfully, but Shiva pulled her alarmingly close.

"Tumhe pata hai? Humne pyaar toh kiya, par aaj tak kabhi tumhe kiss nahi kiya hai maine." Shiva said slowly, eyes shifting from her gaze to her lips.

Her hands rested on his chest. "Accha? Mujhe kiss karne ke liye itne utaawle ho rahe ho?" Raavi smirked. "Itna ruk hi gaye ho, toh aur thodi der ruk Jaao na" She patted his cheek.

"Ae chipkali, itna natak mat kar, itni bholi nahi hai tu. Dekha maine, Radha ke shaadi waale din kaise til mila rahi thi mere choone se." It was Shiva's turn to smirk.

If it wasn't so dim, Shiva would be able to see how her face gave off a bright red colour.

He cupped her face with one hand, and wrapped his other arm around her.

"Itna sab toh jhel liya tune. Mera gussa aur pyaar, handle kar legi?" He whispered.

"Mauka kaha diya hai tune." She entangled her fingers in his hair.

Time stood still, as they brought their lips together.

Raavi always thought that her first kiss would be slow and romantic. But she forgot that she was married to a man did everything with passion.

Shiva walked her back, not breaking the kiss, until she she was caged between the bedroom door and him.

Raavi curled her fingers in his hair, as he bit her lower lip, wanting to take lead. And she let him.

They pulled each other closer, as if they'd merge into each other this instant. Lips in sync, exploring each other. They waited for this moment for so long.

All their anger, love, passion and emotions were conveyed through their kiss. And they broke apart, only slightly, when they were out of breath.

"Demo toh de diya. Ab bol. Kar legi handle?" Shiva breathlessly asked.

Raavi pulled him back into another kiss, leading to a trail of kisses down her neck. It did things to her, when he kissed her senselessly.

He pulled back once again, looking at her.

"Ruk kyu gaya? " Raavi asked, quizzically and breathlessly.

"Tu ready hai? I mean, iss rishte ko aage badhane ke liye? Mai nahi chahta tujhe aisa lage ki force kar raha hoon, intezaar kar lunga." He asked her.

Raavi smiled at him. No matter how he was, he had the basic decency to ask for consent, even though they are married. Even though she showed signs of consent, he stopped to hear it from her, herself.

"I'm ready." Raavi whispered, as she placed her lips on his.

He reached behind her, locked the door, and lead her back towards the bed, falling on top of her.

If anyone came to the Pandya house by chance, no one would open the door. Two different souls were one that night.

I'm not the best at writing these kind of chapters, but I hope it was just as good as the previous ones :)
