Ophelia never thought she would get to the point where she was comfortable singing in front of people. Let alone singing and dancing in a music video. She had never danced before so she had to learn how to dance just for this video. Thankfully Carlos, Fallon, and Gina helped her learn the choreography Carlos made for the video. Today Ophelia went with wearing a long sleeve black t-shirt, plaid pants, and white shoes. She put her curly hair up in a bun, she wore a short necklace and a long necklace, and some rings. Her makeup was simple and her nails were also painted.

The drama club decided to make an Instagram page and for their first post they went with a Christmas music video since Christmas was just around the corner. They also planned to add in that the theater was being fixed back to normal since the fire had ruined it. To get into the Christmas spirit, the drama club even wore Christmas sweaters, some ugly and some not.

Ophelia was currently waiting in the hallway to show up in the video for her part she would be singing and dancing with Kourtney. And to say she was nervous was an understatement. "I've been waiting for this moment." She heard Kourtney's voice nearby which made her know it was about her turn to step out of her hiding place. She exchanged a nervous yet excited glance with the three dancers with her named Addie, Lauryn, and Steph before they each danced out to the hallway, doing the same dance as Kourtney is dancing.

"It's a start of something great." Ophelia harmonizes her voice with Kourtney's, moving so she's standing beside the dark-skinned girl. Her voice sounded a bit shakier than Kourtney's since she was so nervous, and she wondered if her friends could hear her heartbeat because to her it sounded so loud. "And a chance to turn the page.

The five girls continue to dance their way down the hallway as Ophelia and Kourtney sing and with Miss Jenn recording them. "It's my year, I'm gonna own it." The more Ophelia sings she sounded less shaky and she was more confident after getting used to singing and dancing on camera while in front of others. "Gonna take more care of me. Put myself first 'cause I deserve to be..." Kourtney and Ophelia pointed towards the library once they were in front of the open doors where Ashlyn's and Big Red's duet was at.

Ophelia waited in the hallway along with the other girls and once the duet was done the dancers that were in the library came out to the hallway before Ashlyn and Big Red did. Ophelia still stood beside Kourtney while Ashlyn and Big Red joined them and the dancers. "There's something in the air. About to go off right now. Lighten' up all around." They all move out to the lobby of the high school where it was decorated for Christmas just like the rest of the school. "I feel it comin'."

"Somethin' in the air. A time to look forward to. Get ready for something new." Now the teens were just doing random dances as they face each other with smiles. "I feel it coming. Somethin' in the air. Somethin' in the air." Ashlyn went down the hallway a bit and around the corner to the top of the stairs that led to the cafeteria. She pointed at the staircase on the other side of the cafeteria where Carlos and Seb were waiting.

Once Carlos and Seb were done singing their part and they got onto the second floor of the cafeteria, Seb pointed over at EJ and Fallon who were at the top of the stairs that led to the main floor of the cafeteria. "The end and the beginning of another year." EJ sang, taking ahold of Fallon's hand and twirled her around before they both got onto the steps.

Fallon grins at him and joins him on singing the next lyric. "Taking in the memories that we made right here." She and EJ walked down a bit further on the steps and grinned at each other as they did the arm wave move which ended with EJ pointing over to where Gina and Luca are.

Gina and Luca were waiting on the main floor of the cafeteria next to some big presents decorations. "The tree is goin' up and my roots are going down." Gina was the only one who sang that lyric as EJ and Fallon joined her and Luca.

"All around I'm feelin' it." The four of them sang, looking at the camera with a smile. "Are you feeling it?" They looks at each other with smiles when they sang this lyric and points at each other. EJ and Luca fist bump each other, grinning at each other as they both moon walked off camera since they weren't in the dance break part which was next. "Something in the..."

Fallon and Gina did the choreography Carlos taught them, the two girls moving gracefully across the floor. EJ and Luca had left the cafeteria quickly to not get caught in this part of the video while other dancers had moved into the cafeteria to join Fallon and Gina. At the end of the dance break, Fallon and Gina smiled at each other and linked their arms together before they walked over to the entrance of the hallway. They both smiled sweetly at the camera and waved goodbye, walking down the hallway which was off camera.

It was then Nini's and Ricky's duet in another hallway near the cafeteria. Towards the end of their duet, some of the drama club gathered at the entrance of the hallway the couple started walking down and some where a bit down the hallway they would be walking down. "A season of celebrating. The memories we'll be makin'. Makin' a change. Make a new start."

Ricky and Nini step to each side as Gina made her way to the front of the group. "I'm gonna make my mark.

"There's something in the air." Ashlyn adds in ad-libs to the song, making it even more perfect while they all did the same choreography down the hallway. "A time to look forward to. About to go off right now. Lighting it up all around. I feel it coming. Something in the air. A time to look forward to. I feel it coming. Something in the air."

The drama club ends up in front of the doors that led to the auditorium and Carlos walks over to them, facing the camera with a smile. "We are excited to announce that behind these doors, the theater is being restored to its full, resplendent, 1960s-era glory over the holiday break."

Carlos joins everyone else for the last part of the video while Ricky takes the phone from Miss Jenn. "Somethin' in the air. I feel it coming. Somethin' in the air." Ricky blew a kiss to the camera and then covered the lens with his hand at the end of the song.

Everyone cheered excitedly when they were done with the music video. Their cheers are cut short though when a loud voice said, "Hey!" They all look in the direction they heard that familiar voice to see Mr. Mazzarra looking at them with furrowed eyebrows. "School let out an hour ago." He smiles. "Get outta here and enjoy the vacation."

Everyone was relieved he wasn't mad at them for being there after school. Miss Jenn smiles at Mr. Mazzarra. "Happy holidays, Mr. Scrooge."  Mr. Mazzarra nodded and smiled in response before he went back into his classroom.

"New Years Eve party at Ashlyn's!" Carlos announces. "Everyone's invited!" Everyone cheered excitedly at hearing that announcement.

"Gina and I are co-hosting!" Ashlyn added and everyone cheered again.

"You guys, wait," Miss Jenn speaks up, gaining everyone's attention. "I don't think I was recording the song."

"Miss Jenn..." Carlos complained quietly.

Ophelia looks at Miss Jenn with wide eyes. "You're kidding, right?"

"Are you serious?" Nini asked Miss Jenn in disbelief and everyone else voiced their words of complaint.

Miss Jenn sheepishly smiles at everyone. "Go back to places?" Everyone groaned as they all turned back to go to their places they started.

"So not looking forward to doing the again." Ophelia complains, walking beside Kourtney "It was so difficult," A yawn suddenly escapes her lips and she sheepishly smiles when Kourtney looks at her with amusement. "And apparently I'm tired."

Kourtney laughs and throws an arm around Ophelia's shoulders. "Don't worry, O. You killed it last time and you're gonna be just as awesome this time."

Ophelia smiles. "Thanks, Kourt. I hope you're right."

After they recorded the song again everyone went to go get their things to go home. Ophelia met up with Fallon and Luca after she got her backpack from her locker.

She smiles at two of her best friends. "Hey, you guys."

"Hey." Fallon smiles and closes her locker that she and Luca stood by. "We're still on for our annual Christmas movie night tonight, right?" She asked as the three of them began walking side by side down the hallway. The three best friends started this tradition when they were in middle school. During each winter break, they would always have a Christmas movie night one night where they would wear Christmas pjs and make hot cocoa.

"Yeah, of course." Ophelia grins. "That's something I look forward to all year."

"It's my turn to pick the movie." Luca smiles excitedly. "We're watching a classic Christmas movie, 'Home Alone'."

"Ooh, yes!" Fallon fist bumps the air out of excitement and the other two teens look at her with amusement. "Love that movie." She decides to change the subject as she glances at Ophelia with a small smile. "So, uh, Ophelia, how are you and Eric doing?"

Ophelia smiles at the mention of her boyfriend. Yes, after a few dates they're now officially a couple and she couldn't be happier. Eric is a literal sweetheart and she doesn't know how she got so lucky with him. "We're doing good." She replied to Fallon while the three of them got closer to the doors of the school. As she looked outside, she noticed it was snowing so she pulled the hood of her blue colored hoodie she wore (which happens to be Eric that she may or may have not stole from him. she knows he doesn't mind when she wears his clothes. in fact one time when she wore one of his hoodie he told her she looked better in it than he does).

"We would be spending Christmas together, but he's visiting family in New York." Ophelia explains. "Before he left though he stopped by my house to say goodbye. He also gave me a gift even though we both decided not to give each other gifts."

Luca is the one to open the door and he lets the two girls walk outside first. "You got him a gift as well, didn't you?" Luca asked Ophelia, glancing at the girl with an amused smile. Fallon sent him a thankful smile when she walked past him, and he smiled back at her. She pulled the black beanie she wore over her ears more to cover them when she walked outside with Ophelia. Luca closed the door behind him, and he followed two of his best friends.

Ophelia sheepishly smiles and nods. "Yeah, I got him a journal and some new guitar picks. He's been focusing on music recently and had been wanting to write some songs. He had mentioned he wanted one so I got him one." She holds onto the necklace she wore, and glances down at it as a smile tugs her lips. "And he got me a necklace that has a camera on it, along with the first letter of my name, and a jewel that's my favorite color."

(this is what the necklace eric gave her looks like. instead of the m just picture it being an o)

"That's sweet, O." Luca smiled.

Ophelia nods in agreement and glances at him. "Speaking of sweet," She let go of her necklace "How are you and Gina?"

Luca smiles shyly and his face turns pink. "Really good. She's coming over tomorrow night for a date and I'm gonna give her a necklace as well."

"Awe." Fallon smiles. Her shoulders drop and she whines, "I'm so single."

Her friends look at her with amusement. "You'll survive, Lonnie." Ophelia chuckled, patting Fallon's shoulder to comfort her.

It was now New Years Eve. The Christmas movie night Ophelia had with Fallon and Luca went great just like it always is. She was currently hanging out at Big Red's place with Big Red and Ricky. Ophelia had got ready for the New Years Eve party before she went to Big Red's since she had a feeling she wouldn't have much time to get ready when she got back home from Big Red's. She decided on wearing black overalls and a white off the shoulder blouse that had black out lining it. For the shoes she went with combat boots that were kind of a mix between dark red and maroon and she left her hair curly.

(this is what ophelia is wearing)

She hasn't been able to spend much time with them since she has got with Eric and since Ricky got back with Nini. She missed hanging out with two of her best friends. "It's gotta be 'High School Musical Two', right?" Ricky questions as he and Ophelia threw a foam basketball back and forth. "I mean, Miss Jenn's obsessed with the trilogy."

Ophelia nods in agreement, catching the basketball Ricky threw. "It would make sense for us to do the second movie."

"Okay, A, shouldn't we be getting ready for a party?" Big Red chuckles. "And B, how are you already practicing for a tryout for a show that hasn't even been announced yet?"

"Auditions, Red." Ophelia corrects him. She throws the basketball back to Ricky and he catches it. "Not tryout."

Big Red rolls his eyes. "Yeah, whatever."

Ricky chuckles and shakes his head. "I just wanna be ready." He sets the basketball down on a table he stood by. "The musical was good for me and Nini. I wanna keep our good thing goin'."

Ophelia thought about saying that they didn't have to be in the musical to have a good relationship, but she decided not to say it and just smile at him. "Okay," Ricky points at Big Red. "You might wanna take a seat," He then points at Ophelia as well. "And there's a part where I'm gonna need you guys to duck and cover." Ophelia raises her eyebrows, curious as to what he was going to do. Ricky gets a blue colored speaker from his backpack and offers it to Ophelia. He sends her a small smile. "Can you hold this speaker?"

"Okay." Ophelia replied, a bit confused as to what is going to happen. She took the speaker from him while Big Red sat down on his recliner. Ricky got his phone out of his pocket and turned on some music before he laid it down on the table. Ophelia exchanged a look with Big Red and then they both looked back at Ricky.

"Wait for it." Ricky said as the music continues to play for a few more moments. He walks over to the stairs and jumps over the bottom one to the one above it as Big Red starts eating a bag of Funions he now held. "Everybody's always talking at me. Everybody's trying to get in my head." He dramatically puts a hand over his heart. "I wanna listen to my own heart talking. I need to count on myself instead."

He jumps off the stairs. "Lose yourself to get what you want. Get on a ride then wanna get off." While he walks to the other side of the room, Big Red and Ophelia turns in the swivel chairs they sat on to watch him. "Push away the ones you should've held close." Ricky outstretches his arms, turning around to face Big Red and Ophelia. Ophelia leans over to sneak a chip from the bag Big Red held when she notices the red-haired boy's only paying attention to Ricky. "Did you ever not know?" Ophelia grinned when she successfully grabbed a couple form the bag and starts to eat them. Big Red glanced over at her with a playful glare when he realized she stole some chips and she pretended to not notice him glaring at her, fighting the urge to grin.

Big Red and Ophelia swivel around in their chairs again when Ricky walks around them. "I'm not gonna stop, that's who I am." He picks up the foam basketball off the table. "I'll give it all I got, that is my plan." He jumped as he threw the basketball into the basketball hoop in Big Red's room.

"Will I find what I lost? You know I can." Ricky walks over to Big Red's bed and jumps on it, facing Big Red and Ophelia. "Bet on it, bet on it." He jumps off the bed, and walks around his two best friends, waving his arms around Big Red which made the red-haired boy look at him weirdly and Ophelia watched with amusement. "I'm gonna make it right, that is the way." He grabbed some drumsticks off the shelf underneath the stairs before he went over to the drum set.

Ricky hits the cymbal with one of the drumsticks he held. "To turn my life around." He raises his arms and then lowers them as he jumps. "Today is the day." He throws the drumsticks at Big Red for him to catch and the red-haired boy does, flinching a bit when the drumsticks are thrown at him suddenly. "Am I the type of guy who means what I say?" He goes over to the bed to roll over the bed to get to the other side. "Bet on it, bet on it."

He stands up, raising his arms. "You can bet on me." Ricky breathed heavily after he was done and leaned forward, resting his hands on his knees.

Ophelia sets the speaker she held beside her and slowly claps along with Big Red. Ricky glances up at the two of them with a smile. She smiles at Ricky. "Very entertaining, Rick."

Ricky chuckles and stands back up. "Yeah, thanks."

"Dude," Big Red grins, pointing at Ricky. "You're totally gonna get the part. You look like Shawn Mendes, and you sing like Shawn Mendes. If I looked like that and sang like that, I..." Ophelia glances at him with raised eyebrows, wondering what he was going to say. Big Red's voice trails off and he shakes his head. "Whatever."

"Don't 'whatever' me, lover boy." Ricky teases, sitting on the edge of Big Red's bed. "Don't you got this new thing going on with Ashlyn?"

"I'm psyching myself up to kiss her at the party." Big Red responds with a nervous smile on his face. "At midnight."

Ophelia smiles. "Awe."

Ricky looks at Big Red with confusion. "I thought you guys already kissed once."

"Well, I-I don't know if that one counted." Big Red stutters. He shrugs. "It was opening night, everything was kinda crazy. It could've been a fluke."

Before anyone else could say anything, the door opens and Big Red's mom calls out, "Big Red, are you down there?"

"Yeah?" Big Red questioned.

Ophelia glances over at the stairs as Big Red's mom walks down. "Honey, I need you to pick up a shift at the pizza place." Ophelia grimaces, knowing Big Red's plan to kiss Ashlyn at midnight were now ruined. She sends a sympathetic look to Big Red along with Ricky. "We're down a delivery boy." Big Red's mom explained.

Big Red looks at his mom with wide eyes. "Tonight?"

His mom looks at him with a pleading expression. "New Year's Eve is a big money-maker for us. Daddy's sciatica is acting up, and we need you!" While she walks back up stairs, she glances at Ophelia and Ricky. She smiles at the two and waves at them. "Hey, kids."

Ophelia and Ricky smile back at her and Ophelia is the only one who waves back at Big Red's mom. "Hi, Mrs. Red." They both spoke at the same time. Big Red's mom left and the two teens looked back at Big Red with a sympathetic expression as the red-haired boy looked at them with a sad expression.

"You got this, alright?" Ricky encouraged Big Red.

Ophelia nods in agreement, sending the red-haired boy a smile. "Yeah, don't worry. I'm sure everything will work out."

"Just splash some Throb before you show up." Ricky suggests, handing Big Red the Throb spray he had. He smiles and points at the red-haired boy. "Bet on it."

A disgusted look forms on Ophelia's face and she shakes her head. "Or, you know, you could not listen to Ricky."

Ricky looks at her with offense. "You said you loved Throb."

"Nuh-uh." Ophelia disagrees in a childish tone. "Let's back track." She points at the curly-haired boy. "I said I hate Throb. Not love. Hate."

Ricky rolls his eyes and chuckles lightly. "No need to be so harsh about it."

Ophelia shrugs and stands up the same time he does. She looks at Ricky with a smile. "We'll hopefully see you later, Red. And if not, happy New Years."

Big Red smiles back at her and nods. "Thanks. You too."

Ophelia follows Ricky to the stairs, rolling her eyes and did her best to fight the urge to smile when he sings. "Did you ever lose yourself to get what you want?"

"I don't think it's just Miss Jenn who's obsessed with the trilogy anymore." Ophelia teased as they got to the main floor of the house.

"Ha ha." Ricky sarcastically laughs, rolling his eyes playfully. "Very funny, Lia."
