Yoongi POV

Me and Hoseok came back to my house and crashed on to the large sofa. Hoseok was busy laughing while I was taking off my dirty shirt.

I tossed the soiled shirt on his heart shaped mouth and went to grab another one from my cupboard. I opted for a blue and white jacket with a white tee. I came out of the room and announced to Hoseok,

"I'm going out to the beach... If you want to come, join me. If not, stay safe in the house... Adios!"

He just waved his hand at me and I jogged my way out of the house. I really want to see the beach. And I will! I fisted my hand and did a little 'Yes!' dance and walked down the road to the beach.

As I was walking, I saw a bicycle. Not just any bicycle, but the one which that girl hit me in the morning. Does she lives here? I thought and my stupid feet took me to the house where that cycle was kept. I peeked over the grass fence and tried to look in but there was no one inside.

And I then was about to walk away when I heard the door open and voice called out for me,

"Excuse me? You need anything?"

I turned around to meet her curious eyes looking at me. She had her hands folded on her chest, while her eyes were trained on me. She tilted her head and then I saw her brows shoot upwards. She clasped her mouth as if she was about to scream, but seemed to have controlled herself.

She dashed towards me and then looked up to reach my eyes. Oh, she's short. I was almost about to snort but looked back at her small self. I myself am 5 '8, then how small is she? I kept glancing at her face, and then she spoke,

"Are you Min Yoongi?"

I took a step back, so she knows me. I nodded my head and was about to say something when she spoke,

"Don't worry I won't tell anyone that you are here... Because that will give away my location too. So your secret location is in safe hands."

She spoke and then smiled at me. I nodded my head at her and then replied,

"Thank you -?"

"Y/n..."

She replied short and then both of us stood there in awkward silence. Me wanting to know her more for odd reason tried to have more than a small talk with her,

"Your bike looks battered..."

She glanced at the broken bike let out a small laugh and then shook her head,

"It was a piece of shit to began with..."

I too smiled at her colorful language and then flicked a tiny rock in front of me. Then talking to her for ten more minutes I finally spoke,

"Well then, I'll leave. I wanted to see the seashore... It was nice talking with you Y/n..."

She too smiled and then pointed at her door,

"Yeah, I too have an unexpected guest inside my house,"

Then we bid farewell and I went straight to the beach to get a fresh breeze. I strolled down to the beach, the familiar scent of saltwater and sand hitting me as I approached the shore.

The rhythmic crash of waves against the rocks echoed in my ears. I found a secluded spot and settled down, letting the gentle sea breeze sweep away the heat of the day. The sun was beginning its slow descent, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink.

I pulled out my phone and snapped a few pictures, capturing the serene beauty of the ocean at dusk. As I scrolled through the photos, I couldn't shake off the encounter with Y/n from my mind.

She was intriguing-feisty, yet surprisingly warm once we got talking. I wondered about the unexpected guest she mentioned. Was it a friend, a family member?

Lost in my thoughts, I almost didn't notice when someone plopped down beside me on the sand. I turned to see Hoseok grinning like he had a secret.

"Hey, Yoongi! I thought I'd find you here,"

He exclaimed, stretching out on the sand.

I raised an eyebrow.

"What are you doing here? I thought you wanted to stay home."

Hoseok chuckled.

"I did, but then I got bored. Decided the beach sounded like a good idea. Plus, you looked like you needed company."

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help smiling. Hoseok always had a way of showing up when you least expected him. "Whatever, Hobi. Have a seat."

We sat in companionable silence for a while, listening to the sounds of the ocean. The sky darkened gradually, stars peeking out one by one. I felt a sense of peace settle over me, the weight of the day melting away with the ebbing tide.

"Yoongi,"

Hoseok spoke up suddenly, breaking the quiet.

"You met someone interesting today, didn't you?"

I shot him a sideways glance.

"What are you talking about?"

Hoseok grinned knowingly.

"That girl, Y/n, right? Saw you two chatting earlier."

I shrugged nonchalantly.

"Yeah, we talked for a bit. She's... different."

Hoseok chuckled.

"Different? Is that code for something, Yoongi?"

I nudged him playfully.

"Shut up. She's just... not what I expected."

Hoseok raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Oh? So, are we adding 'making friends with mysterious girls' to your hobbies now?"

I scoffed, but a faint blush crept up my cheeks.

"Shut it, Hobi."

He laughed, throwing an arm around my shoulder.

"Hey, I'm just messing with you. But seriously, it's good to see you out and about. Maybe she's not so bad, huh?"

I sighed, gazing out at the dark expanse of the ocean.

"Yeah, maybe."

The night stretched out before us, the stars twinkling above like distant promises. Despite my initial skepticism, I had to admit-meeting Y/n had added an unexpected spark to an otherwise ordinary day.

And as the waves whispered their lullaby, I found myself looking forward to more unexpected encounters. Unexpected encounters with this mysterious girl named, Y/n...
