The Sovereign Heroes battle several zombies in their path, it was long and difficult but they manage to reach some safe location. It is a clearing within the woods, having everyone to take their rest. "Finally. We've been walking for ages, I was thinking we'd never get a break." Rikiya says. "We're at the homestretch now. We should be able to get close to Cognitive Kobayakawa's castle." Kap says. Tomomi however looks away. "Hey, Tomomi-chan, it'll be okay. We are here to help with your inner demons and we will do what we can to save you from all of this!" Rikiya states. "I suppose. Just please be careful." Tomomi requests. Ai, meanwhile, looks at Hiro and gets closer to him, who is just staring into the abyss. "Hiro-san? You've been awfully quiet for sometime now. Is everything okay?" Ai asks. Hiro, in response, just turns around and runs to Rikiya with fear in his eyes. "Huh?" Was all Rikiya could say before Hiro makes it to him and pushes him out of the way, because from above, a being falls from above with a downward thrust and stabs the ground where Rikiya could've been at with a crowbar.

This being has the resemblance of a dark knight, having plate armor that is pitch black with an Italian sallet with the crest on his center being that of a shark. He has a slightly lighter black cape with the image of a pair of swords clashing. The helmet however seems to be at a specific angle as if this knight is angry, while on his side, there is a British STEN. He takes a stand and is about the same height at Hirozaku. "Who the heck is that?!" Kap asks. The knight turns to everyone. "Tomomi Oshiro. Ai Yoshinaga. Rikiya Tanimoto. Kaoru "Kap" Chiba. Hirozaku "Hiro" Chiba." The knight says in a dark and menacing tone with the final name being one of absolute rage. "I am the Black Angel. Your day of reckoning has come. If you are worthy enough, I shall kill you. If you are not worthy, you shall live. Prepare yourselves!" The Black Angel states. "Look asshole, we don't have time for your bullshit! So get of your damn high horse and tell us how the fuck do you know about us?!" Hiro asks. "If you do not fight, I'll simply make you a corpse. COME! BIG BAD WOLF!" Black Angel summons his persona from his Sallet, a persona that is a large and menacing wolf with brown fur. It's got a woman's sleeping cap, a pair of green overalls with a rose on one of it's strap, a large bag on it's back harboring several hunting equipment including some dynamite, it wears some red elf boots on its paws, has a cigarette in its mouth, and a pair of bifocals on its face. Big Bad Wolf does a mighty howl which sends a massive wave of energy to the Sovereign heroes. "You're kidding me! This guy's got a persona?!" Rikiya asks. "To hell with it! Beast!" Hiro summons Beast to try to attack Big Bad Wolf. Big Bad Wolf however is a slippery persona. "Vacuum Wave!" Black Angel commands. Suddenly, a huge hurricane appears after Big Bad Wolf huffs and puffs, blowing Beast away. "Doggy needs a bath right now! Aques!" Rikiya says. Ugly Duckling appears and does a tidal wave to which the Black Angel jumps high into the air with Big Bad Wolf. "That prick's got hops!" Hiro says. "Akasha Arts!" Black Angel commands. Big Bad Wolf zooms down and does a spin as he makes his way to the ground. Once he does, he just homes in on all the persona users, striking all of them with this physical skill, with Rikiya being knocked out. "Fire in the hole!" Kap fires a rocket launcher but it does no damage. Black Angel then does several flips before being upside down and shooting his gun at Kap, knocking him out. "Just one of his attacks could one shot us! Hiro-san! We have to be careful! We need a plan of attack!" Ai requests. "Oh, I got a plan! Attack!" Hiro says as he cracks his knuckles and summons his mackerel. He rushes to Black Angel and clashes his weapon with Black Angel's crowbar. "You are weak, Hirozaku Chiba. Your death will put an end to all of this!" Black Angel says. "Kiss my ass!" Hiro responds as he reaches to grab the helmet, but the Black Angel moves back and does a headbutt to Hiro's face before kicking him in the chest, sending him flying to Tomomi, knocking her out as well. "Rapunzel!" Ai summons Rapunzel and has her hair thrown at Black Angel who has Big Bad Wolf to appear and grab the hair by their teeth. He then swings around Rapunzel before slamming her next to Ai, giving her damage. Big Bad Wolf then glares at Ai. "Silent Thrust." Black Angel commands, causing Big Bad Wolf to have a glowing shoe covered paw and go right through Ai, slamming her to a tree. "You bastard!" Hiro shouts as he rushes fourth with his mackerel, but the Black Angel grabs him by the throat and lifts him off the ground, strangling him. "Pathetic." He throws Hiro to another tree with so much power, it snaps the tree in two. Hiro lands on the ground with the tree falling behind him, he attempts to get up but sees the gun in front of his face by the Black Angel. "Aight then. Kill me. Since that's what your ass wants." Hiro says. "No. I will kill you, but today is not that day. Build up your strength. We will meet again." Black Angel smacks Hiro's face with the butt of his gun, knocking him out.

A few hours later, Hiro slowly wakes up on the same stump he was knocked out on, with the sound of ringing in his ears and his comrades voices being muffled out. "Hiro-san? Hiro-san?" Ai's voice is heard by some muffling. "Hey man! Wake up!" Rikiya's voice is also heard muffling. "Kap! Fart in his face! Maybe that'll work!" "I'm not an actual skunk, genius!" Kap's voice is heard muffled. "Wait, I think he's coming to." Tomomi's voice is heard muffled. Hiro opens his eyes and sees he is on Ai's lap, with Ai being rather flustered. "Rikiya put your ass up to this?" Hiro asks. "Y-yes... He said that this is how it goes in anime." Ai responds. Hiro gets up and holds his head, before getting up on his feet and giving a glare to Rikiya. "What? It DOES happens in anime." Rikiya says. "I ain't pissed on that shit. But, if I hear that you tell anyone to do anything on me again while asleep, I'll kill you where you stand." Hiro threatens. "So where's the black knight or fallen angel or whatever the hell that armored prick is?" Hiro asks. "We don't know. He just vanished." Tomomi responds. "That asshole wants us for some reason. Wants me specifically." Hiro says. "That man was entirely out of our league, it's a wonder how we haven't died because of all that fiasco!" Rikiya comments. "Regardless, he's gone for now. Let's just keep moving after everyone heals up." Hiro says. After everyone consumes their drinks, they proceed to the castle.

The Sovereign Heroes make their way to the castle through the woods, they see a large village, a village exactly like that of the 15th century era. There are peasant cottages, hills where houses lie, all of it, but there is something off about it. "It's quiet." Hiro points out as everyone only hears only a crow's caw. "Too quiet." Hiro says once again. This place has turned into a ghost town. "Where the hell is everybody?" Hiro asks. "Well, we did leave a zombie infested area, so what the hell were we expecting?" Rikiya asks. "Good point. Everyone split up. We should look around the place to find any clues. If there ain't anything, we're headed for the castle." Hiro says. "Woah, woah, Scooby-Dooby-Doo! That ain't gonna happen! There's bound to be some freaky fiasco taking place, especially in a zombie infested world like this!" Rikiya snaps back. "Tanimoto-san is right. We best stand together and watch each other's backs." Ai agrees. "All right. Let's go." Hiro says. They walk through the deserted village, not encountering any enemies at all, with the eerie, almost suffocating, atmosphere, all around them, it's as if this place has been deserted for a long time, with the exception of some horses with a carriage. "Christ, this is creepy." Rikiya comments. "Yeah. There doesn't appear to be a single sign of life here." Kap agrees. Tomomi then sees something in the distance, something that seems to resemble a grave with a wooden cross. On the ground, there is a small doll that has black hair and a pink blouse. She approaches the grave slowly, having Ai to notice Tomomi. "Guys, where is she going?" Ai asks. "Dammit! Let's get to her!" Hiro curses. Tomomi, as if in a trance, approaches the grave and picks up the doll. "Tomomi-chan! We just said we ain't gonna split up!" Rikiya says. However, Tomomi does not answer, She is just staring at this doll, as if she is remembering something of great value. "Oshiro-san?" Ai asks, trying to get her attention. "Tomomi?" Kap asks. "Yo, shrine maiden! We're talking to you!" Hiro says. "What do all of you think happens to our consciousness when we pass away?" Tomomi asks the group. "Where do our souls lie when our bodies expire? What exactly happens beyond the mortal realms? Are there truly some angels awaiting us humans with open arms? Or will there be demons ready to torture your soul until the end of time? Or is there even anything at the end? Anything for us humans to search for? Throughout history, man has always kept to their god. Is having a certain overlord that watches our every action and decides every outcome, an omnipotent overlord, that knows everything truly a way for us to feel better about death?" Tomomi asks. This results in everyone looking at one another, never dealing with this question before. "Ever since my uncle died, I've kept to my family's religion, to our family shrine. I just wanted an answer to the question, why is there life if there is also death? What is going to happen once we are underground?" Tomomi proceeds before looking at the doll again, pushing it's hair out of it's face. "Tomomi-chan." Rikiya mutters.

"We... we should get moving." Tomomi says. Hiro notices something in the grave and summons his weapon. "Hiro-san?" Ai says. "I think we should go through the front door. The gate is wide opened and I'm looking into the future. There ain't really a lot of enemies that plan to surprise us." Hiro says. Once they get to the entrance, they all suddenly, they hear some tires screeching towards their direction. Everyone turns around and behind them, Jose drives in with his car and stops before them. "Hello Mr. Superhero!" Jose greets. "Oh, it's you." Hiro responds. "Hello, Jose-kun. What are you doing here?" Ai asks. "Well, of course this place could be trouble for you guys, so I decided to come and swing by." Jose answers. "Rikiya-kun, who is this child?" Tomomi asks. "Oh, that's Jose. Some kid who helps us with guns, weapons and ammo for our quests." Rikiya answers. "Wait, so aren't you worried that the Headless Horseman would take your head? It feels like you're walking into a trap." Kap asks. "Nah, shadows and their masters don't really know that I exist unless they see me with some form of intelligence. I've been to similar places and I haven't been attacked by shadows then." Jose explains. "Aight. Whatever. We should have our guards up. We don't know that we may find in here. It's best that we save our progress here and go back to the real world, where we can probably have a fighting chance. We get healed up and fixed and probably loosen the grip this dude has towards Shadow Tomomi." Hiro says. "After what we went through with that Black Angel, I could use a permanent nap." Rikiya replies. "That is a good idea. We best rest up and be in our peak." Ai agrees. The group then leave the Lethe and return home.
