This review is for the first episode of Sonic X, Chaos Control Freaks (I wasn't joking)

Okay, so first of all, why did Dr. Eggman kidnap Cream in the first place? What reason did he have for capturing her? Second, why didn't Eggman push the button at soon as Sonic burst into the room? This whole show could've been avoided if he just pressed the button instead of sitting there yelling at his robot to shoot Sonic.

Third, how does the teleportation work exactly? How far did the wave go? Why were they brought to New York? Why not someplace that isn't overrated, like Michigan or Alaska? Why is he even in America to begin with? Why not England? How do Sonic and the people just so happen to speak the same language? Why don't the police just tranquilize Sonic instead of treating him a normal animal when he clearly isn't one?

Fourth, why did Sonic appear in the middle of a street, but no one else does? Why didn't he teleport somewhere and remain inside the building him, Rouge, Cream, and Eggman were in? How does this work? How come none of the policemen just shoot Sonic?

The show isn't as vague as I'm making it out to be. If you don't overthink things, it's actually interesting. The animation is pretty good for an early 2000's anime. Some jokes are kind of funny (maybe for if you're younger), and I like how the show hops into action immediately. Some of the English voice actors are annoying, but that can be looked over easily.

I'm not saying that this show is amazing and there's not a single flaw, but it's decent despite flaws that it currently has. And as for the first episode, I liked how it went over exposition somewhat clearly and very quickly. I give Chaos Control Freaks a 7/10. Most of my reviews will be quick and choppy like this.
